Yep. Absolutely ridiculous to keep releasing this. 

The shin cuts look bad on that Vision too...I've never been a fan of shin cuts in general unless they're on an actual boot.

Kitty's (NOT big curly 80's hair) Excalibur look.

Just doesn't do the job...

This was a hugely disappointing figure for me. Kitty has always been one of my three or four favorite X-Men character and I've been waiting on a decent figure of that look SINCE the 90's. Can't believe they approached it so haphazardly. A figure I've wanted for 30+ years and it was so bad that I didn't even consider buying it. 

I was also really disappointed in the uniform coloring on Shatterstar, who was another childhood favorite. They used lots of superfluous gray (cape, gloves) on areas that are supposed to be entirely white. As someone who thought the all-white look of his uniform was one of the coolest things about his appearance AND who had really fond memories of the old Toy Biz figure that captured that accurately, this was a big disappointment. The hair color is off too. I still bought it, but I've never been particularly happy with it and my lack of enthusiasm for that figure probably discouraged me from finishing up the 90's X-Force lineup. 

What I really hate is when they half-ass one-bite-at-the-apple characters, like Shatterstar. Until the X-Men '97 figure, I had literally never been completely happy with a tiger stripe Wolverine over the course of like 30 years (Water Wars Wolverine came close) and maybe equally as many efforts, but at least you knew another try was coming in a couple years. 

It’s going to be even worse if the yellow paint doesn’t match up with the boot/glove pieces. But yeah, if they’re going to keep doing this then it would be nice if they made some shins and forearms for this buck without those ugly cuts.
