totally agree! we badly need a good comic Loki figure. i'd love one that was more modern to go with the recent Herald Thor.

When I saw the title, one figure jumped out immediately: Lasher. Completely lazy release. Outside of the body being wrong, the feet should be two clawed and not the five toed claw foot they used.

Open mouths. I can't stand characters that have only open mouth. Hasbro seems to like doing this with all fanged characters so I am already expecting Feral and Wolfsbane to both have screaming mouths when they get released. If we're lucky maybe they have alt heads like Tygra who's maybe one of the two fanged figures to get an alt head (Beast also got one eventually and it's fantastic)

The most recent figure that triggered me is Blade. Great looking figure, but yet again he has that stupid open mouth. It's a great head sculpt and I love it, but we really needed a close mouth head.

I agree with this too. Question is, I am not sure how to make him good. With the retro we already got a new head, outside of chainmail and some texture, he's kind of a plain body figure that has seen 2 releases already.

We need Simonson Loki. It's probably number one on my list.

Preach. I really, really dislike this trend. I love the Thunderstrike figure, but the screaming Eric head ALL THE TIME is really old. I'd have preferred a neutral expression instead. I'm still hoping someone like Benty does a custom head that I can pick up.

I feel like a screaming head should always be reserved for a secondary head when there's room in the budget. The figures on my shelf are in mostly neutral poses, so having a couple guys screaming is always odd.

Along with the screaming head (which is nice, but should've been an alternate), another weird thing about the Blade figure is the rolled up sleeves. I think it's pretty obvious that they were designed with a Spider-Man Animated Series Morbius figure in mind, since it's not a look that Blade was really known for. I'd rather he had normal sleeves if he's wearing a coat at all. Maybe the animated Morbius was be pushed back for a later date, or was dropped in favour of the two-pack we got instead.

I prefer Blade's campy red/green jacket costume to the modern version. Even still, that modern figure leaves a lot to be desired. I can't say I like the head sculpt or rolled-up sleeves.

The older Blade head may fit on the new body. He has a closed mouth. And the figure itself is mediocre. The top is nice but the reused legs they did are hard to pose him and they don't look right to me.

Blade's arms are re-used from the 90s Havok. And they looked weird then, too.

I assumed those arms were just reused from the X-Factor Havok 3 pack. Didn't think about it being an animated Morbius. Overall, the rolled up sleeves actually don't bother me, I like this Blade a lot more than the first one. Just wish he had a gritting head sculpt instead.

I think they are just re-use. They are not pinless.

I like the rolled up sleeves look, honestly. And the head sculpt is good, just wish there was an alternative.

And we get a closed mouth for Siryn.

Speaking of closed mouths, I’d love to see the repeat characters get other expressions besides stoic every time. Thor and Daredevil for example.
Was awesome to see Ultimate Cap get some gritted teeth but unfortunately that version of him is one I never cared for.
