OMG! This is the funniest and truest statement ever on Fwoosh! That game sucks but I can't stop playing it! The made up characters that are so overpowered are ridiculous, as well as the fact that a powered up Kate Bishop can defeat just about anybody including Thanos, Ultron and Dr. Doom.
I was able to quit pretty easily given how repetitive it is. Once I got all my favorite X-Men characters I haven't logged in much. Now if you want to experience all of the fun of a bad relationship paired with a gambling addiction you can try Marvel Contest of Champions. After 7 years of playing it, I don't recommend it to anyone.
I have steered clear of most of these Marvel mobile games for these reasons. I already spend waay too much of my free time and attention on bright shiny superheroes - the last thing I need to do is pair that with the addictive mechanics of a mobile game. Gotta know my limits.

Sage, yes - but also Slipstream and Lifeguard! If not the two most forgettable X-Men, they're certainly towards the top of the list.
Lifeguard was like an X-Men character I created so I'd be down for her. I almost made Sage from AoA Kitty and Hellfire Jean - I really like these Salvador Larroca designs - that's who it is, right?
Lifeguard and Slipstream are alright, but I don't need either as figures. These are characters that make Maggott and Cecilia Reyes seem like mainstays on the team. I thought Thunderbird III was alright in the X-Treme books, but I don't even know if I need him. I like the Wolverine look, and wouldn't mind a more Larocca-inspired Gambit. Bishop, Storm, and Rogue are kinda mediocre in this series costume-wise. But I did like Beast and Psylocke's looks in it before Psylocke got killed off AGAIN! Kitty Pryde would be a decent addition since she did join in later.
I forgot side-thigh was all the rage back then.
I would be swell if they released a repaint of that Cyclops head to go on the blue/white costume release so we could have it without effects permanently around the eyes...
Hopefully we get the Byrne soon as well. Great body for Cyclops.
If we get that Kitty Pryde before training uniform Kitty I will melt down my entire Legends collection in protest and ship the blob of plastic to Hasbro's offices to leave in Ryan's parking space.
Or at least be very disappointed.
Meanwhile I’m still waiting on Astonishing Kitty…
Juggernaut wave Kitty is the worst figure in my collection. She hardly stands. I'm desperate for an Astonishing costume upgrade.
