@akatsuki
I appreciate the clarification and info on him. It's a great looking figure that I have no attachment to.

My son, who is currently obsessed with Scooby and the gang, said Nemesis reminded him of the Space Kook, which would put Scooby and the gang somewhere in the Marvel multiverse. It must be so, because he is never wrong... according to him... 😆

@akatsuki - I’m glad you made that distinction. He should be called Genocide. But they probably can’t call him that on a toy package!

I'm not feeling most of the wave and the Prof. X either.   However I am probably in for Cyclops and will wait and see if they do a deluxe release of Nemesis down the road.

This Nemesis is Genocide from the 616 universe and is a different character than AOA Holocaust. The Genocide figure looks amazing!! Definitely one of the coolest character designs around. He has shown up a few times, in X-Force, Uncanny Avengers, and that Heir to Apocalypse story. Such a cool looking character, and the figure looks great. Makes the whole wave a must-have for me.

Id still love to get an updated AOA Holocaust figure, too!

Marrow— I was not a fan, but then I saw the super dynamic action poses of her—she looks super cool actually. Great power set as well—reminds me of a character from Naruto whose name escapes me at the moment.

Cyclops and his new optic blast effect look fantastic! Love energy effects like this.

I don’t know who Husk is. But I did like the Monet figure a lot.

Cortez is cool to get. Hope we get figures of Senyaka and Exodus.

Akat, thanks so much for posting this clarification! Totally changed my perspective on this figure. I still 100% want a redo of AoA Holocaust/Nemesis, but I had no idea this was a new/unique 616 character. I've got a lot of new reading to do after yesterday's reveals, but Uncanny X-Force just jumped to the top of the pile.

Uncanny X-Force is one of the last titles I remember reading and really enjoying. Rick Remender was doing some really interesting things back then, and some of his concepts introduced in UXF continued in Uncanny Avengers. I mean, there must be a reason Hasbro gave so much focus to this team, right?

Was there any mention if the effect piece for cyclops would fit on the 97 cyclops?

That blast effect on Cyke looks pretty big and I'm a bit surprised it's not used as an excuse to push him to $35.

Oh, man. You're in for such a treat. UXF is neck and neck with Astonishing for my favorite X-Men title ever. It's a little more uneven than Astonishing, but it's obviously thematic in a way superhero comics often aren't.

As an added bonus, Remender is one of the only writers who understands Deadpool.

MarvelousNews is always hard to link to but this shows the blast effect is removable:

Should Nightcrawler have mold lines on his chest for where his red normally is in this outfit? Or should his chest be smooth like the costume is one piece?

Akat, always a total boss, beat me to the clarification on this version of Nemesis.
Amazing looking figure. I love it so much. I don't know that I would have preferred the '90s look, but I definitely still really really want the '90s look. This figure looks so great, though. X-Men continues to have some of the best oversized figures in Legends.

I think the entire wave looks pretty good and does some interesting things where it needs to in order to put certain characters over the line. But it's really hard for me to judge full waves because I just don't buy that many figures anymore. Even stuff I really like or that would have been must-haves for me 3 or 4 years ago are pretty easy passes now, so my opinion on 'good vs. bad wave' doesn't carry a lot of weight, I think.

AOA Gambit is a maybe. Much as I love AOA, I still only have Weapon X. I've been fighting with myself to go back and get all the others that have been released, but I just haven't. So buying Gambit will really depend on if I win or lose the battle on whether or not I really need all the AoA characters in my much-reduced ML collection.

I'd be surprised if I don't end up with Wolverine eventually. I'm a sucker for Wolverine variants. I think this one will depend on whether or not they show off a better Wolverine before it comes out. But this one looks cool and adds some variety to the ones I have now. But I'd way prefer a Spy/Team X Wolverine if I'm going to get him in a black costume. Or an updated X-Force. I've been whining about Wolverine figures needing more hand options for years and years, so it's nice to see that finally happening with what appears to be some regularity since both Wolverines they've brought out recently have them.

Marrow and Husk are on my Top 100 most wanted characters list, so I'm definitely happy to add them to my X shelf and remove them from my list!

Should Cyclops' "ears" be blue here and part of the cowl?  I always saw it as it was the ear covering part of his visor and therefore yellow?

@jtmarsh I have the retro wave blue & white version right next to me, and they are gold to match the visor...which also matches the comics.
