I'd be in for Colossus and Kitty provided they don't look TOO much like Cassaday art, given the Emma and Logan heads, I'd assume they will, so I'm iffy on those. Never liked Cat Beast.
Surprised Gambit isn't in the DP&W wave, maybe they're saving him for the Doomsday or whatever the Avengers film is called. Cowboy DP and other variants are non-starters for me. Likely will only get sleeveless Wolverine; Blade's a maybe, but I'd prefer a Blade 1 or 2 version of the Wesley Snipes movies.
Didn't see too much else I need other than maybe Capcom Psylocke. Looks to be a light year for me for ML. Given the direction of prices I don't view that as such a terrible thing.
Nice to see Owl and Hypno Hustler, but I won't get too excited til I know they aren't based on modern or video game looks. The retro line usually provides classic designs, so I'm hopeful.
I will be very happy if with the Astonishing Kitty figure they give us a second, early appearance style head with the face mask/cowl look from X-Men 139 - then I can at least use it to be her X-Men training outfit look from her early days. I know it wouldn't be 100% accurate but close enough at this point.
Abomination needs to be as big as the Hulk figures we got already, and Absorbing Man must have his purple pants.
@beamish Would be insane if the Falcon weren’t classic or another close but no cigar Falcons.
What’d be even more insane is if they gave us a classic and modern version but swapped them at the waists again.
They're saving that for the next wave of retro Toy Biz ML for the 25th anniversary. Exploding crotch Iceman will be in the same wave.
Honestly... Abomination is not a figure I feel like I need again. I get that it's been a minute since he was last released, but the last one was pretty good. I'd honestly rather have A-Bomb... but maybe I can just repaint one of the Abomination figures I already have blue, I guess.

Of the new leaked list I’m def on board for Secret Wars Constrictor, Falcon and Absorbing Man (pending the unrevealed mystery figure of course), Astonishing Kitty/Colossus and Owl. Cardiac and Hypno Hustler less but I know I’ll eventually buy em.

Ok thanks, I thoughts Nightcrawler Spiderman was Der Spinnerman or something like that. I assumed it was some sort of Cyclops / Spiderman hybrid hence "Uncanny". Since I have no plans to read it, what happens to Weapon 8, and what happens to Logan since he's never in Weapon X / Dept H?

I am curious about the distribution process related to the tariffs. If Hasbro pays $10 to the factory for a figure and ships it to the US, and then sells it for $20 to the retailers, I assume the 125% is on the $10 as that was the cost of the imported goods.
If however Target or BBTS takes control of the figure in China and uses its own shipping/distribution to get it to the US, is the 125% on the $10 or on the $20 that Target or BBTS have bought it for before it crosses the border? I am guessing still $10 but wonder how it works.
I think a thread about the actual cost implications and the impact on the hobby makes sense. Especially some of the smaller companies doing Kickstarters, those with product on the water already, etc. I don't see how some of them will survive, they may not even have the cashflow to pick up their product once it arrives in the US if they have to pay the tariff at that time.

"Hi Everyone, I’m writing to share with you how we are working to handle the rapidly escalating tariff situation. I want to be transparent and honest with you about the impacts of these tariffs. This is a complex situation so I apologize upfront for the length of my note, but I feel it is important to be as clear as possible in this difficult time.
Tariffs – What Just Happened: For 25 years, we have operated as a family-owned business under a 0% tariff rate. Several months ago a 10% tariff was enacted for goods made in China. It was then doubled to 20%. In April a 34% tariff was added to the total, bringing us to 54%. Last night another 50% was added, and today (April 9th) an additional 21% was added, bringing us to 125% total tariffs on Chinese goods. I’m heartbroken to have to do this, and I hate this tariff situation: it is ridiculous, poorly thought out, poorly implemented, cruel and punishing to everyone involved in affected countries and at every level of our industry.
Who Pays Tariffs: Tariffs are a tax on the US consumer. Foreign governments do NOT pay these tariffs. The US based companies who import these goods are directly responsible for paying the tariffs. And ultimately, the US based consumer pays for them through higher product prices. We are devastated that it has come to this, and we will continue to work hard to minimize the impact to you.
When and How will Prices Change: In the past month we have raised prices in a manner that was inclusive of expected tariffs, while also honoring previously pre-ordered prices. Unfortunately, the dramatic increases in tariff levels has now made this approach impossible.
To minimize confusion during this rapidly changing situation, we will be changing newly affected pre-order product listings to reflect our normal, non-tariff-based price. We will also add a notice indicating that a tariff surcharge will be added at the time of the product’s arrival. We will inform you of the full amount before your payment method is charged. You will also be able to cancel your pre-order at that time if the surcharge amount is something you do not wish to pay. Our customer service team, as always, will be ready to help with any issues that arise from this situation, and we will be very flexible given the circumstances. Today, we expect the surcharge may be between 15% to 40% of the pre-order price, however that could change as the situation continues to unfold. Please note that any items currently In Stock are not subject to the tariff.
We are working as fast as we can to make these changes clear on our site, but it will take us time. We have over 10,000 items listed for pre-order currently, and it is going to take us time to work through how each vendor will respond to their specific tariff situation. Our supply chain is complex and we have hundreds of vendors. The timing of when a particular tariff is applied will depend on a variety of factors including import shipping dates and any new rules set by the government.
Finally I absolutely hate increasing prices to you, but the tariff situation is beyond our control. If tariffs are reduced or removed, we will reduce or remove the tariff surcharges on orders accordingly. My pledge to you is that we will be fair, and we will share the pain of this. I assure you we are already feeling significant economic and business disruption pain from these tariffs. We will continue to work hard to serve you with the quality and customer service level you expect as we navigate through this difficult time.
