I can't find a clean image of it, but my first comic ever was X-Men 4. Adjectiveless. It was the beginning of a new arc after Jim Lee's first arc. It introduced the characters Omega Red, possibly Maverick. The concept of the CIA Team X. I'm glad we have both Omega Red and Maverick. I never thought they'd ever make Maverick. I don't think I'd need anyone else from that arc, I think the Von Strucker twins were involved, and a Japanese guy who was the offspring of someone from the Hellfire Club? Maybe Shinobi Shaw? I think some Hand Ninjas were involved too. Been a while since I read it. I think that arc was followed by a gratuitous crossover with Ghost Rider, then they went to Mojoverse, and then Lee's run ended and he took off to found Image Comics.

I link virtually all of my Marvel covers here directly from Marvel itself because they're usually very clean, nicely high-resolution, and they allow open sharing of their cover images without a Marvel Unlimited account or subscription, plus Marvel's web images all have a file extension which is required to embed them in posts for this forum.
To find them I do a Google image search and type this using your first comic as an example: "x-men 4 site:marvel.com". The site: keyword limits the search to the marvel.com web site. You could leave that off and most often Marvel's site is pretty prominent in searches for something simple like "x-men 4," although that particular search is complicated by the fact that Marvel has released so many comics with the name "x-men" in the title.
Here's your first comic linked directly from Marvel:
My first X-men comic was 160, which featured S'ym and Belasco prominently, both of whom I'm still waiting for. It was also the first appearance of aged-up Illyana.
My very first X-Men comic was Uncanny X-Men 111 - and from that book I definitely need a Legends Mesmero figure, please and thank you.
My first X-men was #222. I already knew the team from Secret Wars (and an episode of Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends, heh), and I continued on from there until Claremont left, and also got back issues/Classic X-Men reprints to have his entire run.
But I believe my first comic was Star Wars #1. My mom got me everything and anything Star Wars she saw, and I had most of that series until one of our cats worked her way into that cabinet and shredded the issues while removing them from the box, then had kittens on what was left in that box. That night was an emotional rollercoaster for me.
My first X-Men was #98. Bought off the 7-11 spinner rack. I still have it. I bailed after the Paul Smith run which was way too short, but he's such a great cartoonist. Like a cross breed of Jaime Hernandez and Bernie Krigstein. Of course I didn't see his work in those terms then; I just knew his comics read better and felt more alive.

Symbiote Tobey reveal...? Finally the No Way Home Electro and Lizard?
@enforcer That would be awesome, and makes total sense. I won't believe it until I see it though. Which I'll probably forget to see it anyway and will just look at posts on here later.
My first X-Men was X-Men 137, which I am not going to show the cover because if you don't know what the cover of X-Men 137 looks like I think you are in the wrong forum. Bought at the local 7-11 off the spinner rack. Not sure why I bought it - at the time I was only buying the Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and Micronauts and not the main Marvel Universe proper - but it came out right around my birthday so I might have decided to splurge some birthday cash (which probably amounted to $10 or so) on a special, double sized issue - I know I flipped through it and really liked the art.
I will buy all the NWH and Tobey figures they make lol
The first comic I ever "purchased". I was too young to read it, but I liked the colors on the cover when I spun the spinner rack.
It was a sibling trip to 7-11 and we all left with slurpees and comics.
My brothers were both avid comic book readers, so it actually went into their collection, but it was read to me often.
I "inherited" both of my brother's collections many years later.
This one comic explains my love for the Korvac Saga and classic Black Widow with the turtleneck catsuit and the big ass 70's hair.
First X-Men comic was X-Men #21 in 1991. Bought it at an arcade while on vacation of all places. The interior art by Brandon Peterson with the first 3 pages where Wolverine has Psylocke pinned to a wall with his claws (she had just become asian and the X-Men didn't believe it was actually her) were what sold me on continually rereading it. Gambit and the fight on the cover is what sold me initially. Second ever X-Men comic was Uncanny X-Men #304 with the mural cover and the hologram. Seeing Magneto attack the X-Men at a funeral was what sold me on continuing to follow the Fatal Attractions storyline, plus the holograms were just cool for an 8-9 year old reader. This was my first foray into the X-Men comics beyond seeing the cartoon premiere. I had previously bought a Batman the Animated series adaptation issue and some random issue of Superman that was tied in with his death storyline. But nothing grabbed me like X-Men. Because of when I came in, I'll likely always prefer Betsy in her asian ninja form, plus the Capcom games wouldn't be the same without her. Quit buying them in 2013 because I thought Schism was dumb, and AvX was more of the same. As corny and chaotic as Onslaught was I'll always enjoy the heroes all being allied or at least having working relationships rather than just fighting one another all the time.
Would that be 8am or 9am Pacific Time?
