I know nothing about Gamerverse, other than we've gotten figures in the past.

Is it popular enough to get its own wave? Is it something I should check out?

I couldn't care less about the Gamerverse stuff. I got the Abomination as a stand in for MCU Abomination. I am hoping the D+ wave has a BAF Abomination. That would like...be a sundae on top of the sundae.

I can't wait for Unspecified BAF. I always wanted him!

Wanting him ends up being the best part.

Yet another rumored leak list, from a Marvel Legends Collectors page on Facebook.

Mini-Comic Wave

* Rom The Space Knight
* Banshee (Classic Suit)
* Adam Warlock w/ Infinity Gauntlet
* Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales)
* Ultimate Iron Man
* Dark Avengers Wolverine (Akihiro)

New Adam Warlock is great. We really need him. Ultimate Iron Man is fine. Another Miles Morales figure. Who asked for him again? Thats right - no one really. Can we get Ultimate Peter as Spider-Man first? Don't really care about the rest of this wave. Lets see what ideas Jesse Falcon has for this BAF...

Spider-Man
Comic Wave
* Retro Chameleon
* Clone Saga Kaine
* Electro (Francine Frye)
* Spider-Boy
* Spider-Man Unlimited
* Agent Venom

Animated Chameleon is great...if it's the Animated one and not another boring suited ML figure. Spider-Man Unlimited is cool. The rest you can keep.

* Symbiote Spider-Man
* Black Cat
* Ghost Spider Suit
* Brooklyn 2099 Suit
* Boricua Suit

* Daredevil
* Doctor Strange
* Doctor Octopus (BAF)

Posted by: @beamish

Comic Wave
Ultimate Wolverine
* X-Force Nightcrawler
* Age of Apocalypse Gambit
* X-Factor Cyclops (Blue and Yellow)
* Marrow
* Generation X Husk
* Fabian Cortez

Posted by: @beamish

X-Men ‘97 Wave 3
* Deluxe Figures
* Retro Mystique

Interesting. More good classic X-Men figures, Hasbro, more.

Posted by: @beamish

MCU Figures...Blah Blah Blah
Another MCU slop that will not be sold. Make Blade figure from 1998 movie - He WILL sell. The rest will just rot on the shelves.

Posted by: @beamish

Deluxe ‘Ultimate’ Figures
* Spider-Man
* The Incredible Hulk

Marvel vs. Capcom Line
* Deluxe Shuma-Gorath
* Deluxe Juggernaut
* Captain America vs. Venom 2-Pack
* War Machine vs. Omega Red 2-Pack

Now I'm interested. Let's see how they implement all this

So...like only 10 figures for me from the whole list. Not Bad...

This is a LOT of figures, and I agree, some seem wish-listy. So many re-hashes, though. I really only see me paying full price for:

Mini-Comic Wave
* Rom The Space Knight
* Banshee (Classic Suit)
* Adam Warlock w/ Infinity Gauntlet
* Dark Avengers Wolverine (Akihiro)

Spider-Man
Comic Wave
* Clone Saga Kaine

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Wave
* Dark Avengers Spider-Man

Comic Wave
* X-Force Nightcrawler
* Age of Apocalypse Gambit
* Marrow
* Generation X Husk
* Fabian Cortez
* Unspecified BAF

* X-Force Warpath and X-23 2-Pack

SDCC Deadpool (Single Release)

Deadpool & Wolverine Wave 2
* Cassandra Nova (If old head included)

* Werewolf By Night

Deluxe ‘Ultimate’ Figures (need to see to be sure)
* Spider-Man
* The Incredible Hulk

Marvel vs. Capcom Line
* Deluxe Shuma-Gorath

Iron Man Wave
* The Mandarin

2-Packs
* Champion and Magus
* Mephisto and Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes)

I see a lot of figures I'd pay sale price for, especially Spider-verse characters.

More power to those of you that will be purchasing a lot, but as a classic comic guy, so much of this does absolutely nothing for me.

I'm also a classic comic guy and this list is very underwhelming.

I count less than 10 figures that I might purchase.  And without more details most of those are a maybe.

I could care less about MCU, Fox, video game versions, cartoon, etc...

Happy for those that do, but bleh!

Where are the missing classic Avengers, Warriors Three, and Serpent Society?

Still waiting for important classic villains like M'Baku, Mandarin, Attuma, Skurge, and the Frightful Four......

According to a comment I saw on a YouTube channel just after SDCC, when asked about what classic Avengers and villains could we expect next, Dan commented about the poor Avengers Anniversary sales and kind of left it at that. So that doesn't bode well at all for those of us that want to add to our Avengers shelves and complete rosters, although the Wasp/Giant-Man set sold out twice on Pulse and updates to Yellowjacket and classic Falcon are mentioned almost weekly in these forums and the Facebook/Insta pages I follow - and not only from me 😉. So, if made in the right amounts and the right markets, Avengers members and villains do sell and could sell out.

For example:

These 2-packs alone could be Fan Channel sellouts:

Namor vs Attuma

Thor vs Skurge

Black Panther vs M'Baku

Additional sets could do very well:

Starfox vs Nebula (or a new Thanos)

Swordsman and Mantis

Jim Hammond and Toro

Dear Hasbro - we want them. Make it happen. At the very least - Mantis, Swordsman, Jack of Hearts, Stingray, Starfox, Firebird, Jim Hammond, Perez Beast, Skurge, Attuma, M'Baku, Graviton, Nebula, Fixer, Melter, classic suit Moonstone, Josten Goliath.

And, BTW Hasbro - Dark Avengers are not classic Avengers, unless you pack in a classic head. So when we hear "we gave you Avengers this year", you didn't really.

I'm sorry, Dan, was there even worthy Avengers Anniversary that year? What did we even get?

Target Black Widow. Great figure of a classic character - sold out. Wasp/Giant-Man set - sold out. That's it. The rest:

1) Classic Hawkeye you packed with an awful glider or whatever that thing was. Why? Just put him on a single retro card and don't waste plastic.

2) Iron Man model 1. Cool figure that you can put in the Retro Iron Man wave. Why he is even here?

3) Thor vs Destroyer. Cool Destroyer, useless Thor. Sale it is.

4) Grey Hulk and Banner two pack - why? Who Asked? Put them in the retro card Hulk Wave. Give us a bright green classic Hulk instead.

5) Captain Marvel vs. Doctor Doom. Who thought this was a good idea to pack them together? Monica is just a boring looking figure. Doctor Doom needs a Secret Wars retro card to even  look good.

6) "Valaverse Super-Adaptoid" (repainted old Cap figure). I guess he didn't adapt well...

7) Marvel's Black Knight and Marvel's Sersi. More like Marvel's old molds reuse.

Of course it didn't sell well. Closed boxes where you can't even look at the figure. Poor character selection. Reusing old bodies. Where was fucking Perez Beast? Yellowjacket? All New Classic Cap figure with a normal shield? Some other classic character that people want?

Well...at least you didn't make more Serpent Society figures. Forget about ever selling them...

At least the Captain Marvel was in a costume and look the a majority of us wanted her in. To be honest, I think that she was the reason that most of us bought that 2-pack.

That Marvel vs Capcom seems awfully light on the Capcom.  They should just call it another Marvel release.

I’m not a big movie/game collector, so this tentative list only holds a few interesting items to me, and that would depend on their actual appearance of them.

I never really parsed it out, and I bought most of them myself, but the Avengers Anniversary two-packs really would've worked better as singles in almost every way. There was definitely one must-have that drove most of the two-pack buys, even if I liked the other one.

I think they've done a great job on the Gamerverse figures but it doesn't feel like there's enough buzz to warrant its own wave. I will say Gamerverse Black Cat is one of my favorite redesigns of her costume so I'm psyched if they're going to release her. That's a must-get. I'll always at least consider alternate Spidey looks though, they're my Kryptonite.

I was crazy happy last week and August - I am on board for the X-Men Waves including '97, Kaine, Agent Venom and most likely that Iron Man wave.  The new Ultimate line is automatic most likely.  Hopefully paint is included the ultimate description.

I have no interest in live action stuff, not figures anyways, so these new adds are a pass.  Also seems like too much to produce.  Robbie Reyes without his car is not as fun, but that's a good pack if true.

@jtmarsh   I would be all over more Acolytes - as long as it doesn't take forever. Cortez and Senyaka would be ana amazing start.  I just don't want to sit with only them for years before someone else comes.

Going with what @aleks wrote, there is no explanation for how badly they dropped the ball on the Avengers wave.  You are absolutely right.  After the underwhelming choices for Spider-Man 60th anniversary figures in 2022, I had higher hopes for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Boy, was I wrong.  Making Black Widow a Target exclusive and the Giant-Man and Wasp two-pack a Hasbro Pulse exclusive was EXTREMELY stupid, as I wanted both and couldn't find them.  It was also foolish to include Avengers characters in looks that had nothing to do with their time when they were even ON the Avengers, like Mark 1 Armor Iron Man and the Grey Hulk/Dr. Bruce Banner two-pack.  The Hulk two-pack should have been released in 2022 for the Hulk's 60th anniversary year and there are other, more popular, and more colorful versions of Iron Man they could have used instead.  Releasing the Erik Masterson Thor instead of classic Thor was a big mistake too.  Why pass on making a figure of one of the team's founding members with his temporary replacement?  All Hasbro had to do was make a Founding Avengers wave of green Hulk with purple trunks (since Kirby's Hulk was shorter/smaller and could've been in a Build-A-Figure wave, or could've even BEEN the Build-A-Figure), classic Thor, classic Wasp, classic Giant Man, Loki, red-and-gold armor Iron Man from "Avengers" #4, and Captain America with an intact shield without holes and just watch the pre-orders explode.  The other long-requested characters they could have made, such as green suit Sersi, George Perez art-based Beast, Yellowjacket, red-and-white classic suit Falcon with Redwing, black-and-red early '90s West Coast suit Wonder Man, any version of Scarlet Witch, '90s suit and jacket Firestar, and more villains like Count Nefaria would have been great additions that fans would've went nuts over, but the pegwarmer characters they did select were clearly not the right choices to use.

As for the leaked list, since tariffs are coming next year after the inauguration, I'm being VERY selective on who to buy once the prices inevitably rise.  The two-packs are likely being skipped if they get too high for my already tight budget.

I thought the 20th Century Fox X-Men figures wave was debunked.  I guess it's real after all.  If it is, why would they make 'Days of Future Past' figures for Wolverine and Storm instead of from 2000's 'X-Men: The Movie' to have them in uniforms that match Cyclops and Beast?  And why are Rogue and Iceman not choices?  It's also disappointing to see a sleeveless Wolverine from 'Deadpool & Wolverine' isn't listed, yet Mr. Paradox is.  Yet another boring business suit figure is getting made.  I'm also surprised there's no Colossus figure of any kind, as he's badly in need of an update on a new body mold in his classic look.  As I've said before, I also thought Chameleon was comic based due to the wrinkled mask that was previously teased.  I also hope that Retro Mystique is NOT a store exclusive.

Also, as someone without a Doc Ock in their collection, I really, really, REALLY hate that Doctor Octopus is a Build-A-Figure and released for the underwhleming, easily-passable "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" wave.  Nico Minoru? Norman Osborn? Yet another Doctor Strange? Really, Hasbro?  I was hoping for a new Doc Ock on a new body mold, the bendable wire tentacles included and new alternate heads and hands.  My wait for a new green-and-yellowish-orange suit, comic book based Doc Ock continues to be delayed.  I'm also beginning to think we may never get a white Armani suit, Mark Bagley art-based Doc Ock figure from the '90s from Hasbro at this rate, which is surprising since Hasbro likes doing figures now in business suits with ties.  Maybe we'll get a surprise "Secret Wars" wave two and a classic Doctor Octopus figure release then, but I'm not holding my breath.

If Hasbro's reading, my wants for 2026 are green-and-orange suit Doc Ock and/or white Armani suit Doc Ock with bendy wire tentacles, classic John Romita Sr. art-based Spider-Man with an alternate Peter Parker head and alternate wall-crawling hands, first appearance Mary Jane Watson, classic green savage Hulk with butterfly shoulder joints, better face sculpts and hair for the alternate heads and alternate clapping hands, classic John Byrne art-based Doctor Doom, classic Thor, classic red costume Daredevil, Storm in her black Outback suit with the yellow lightning insignia, 90's Gold Team uniform Colossus, classic John Romita Sr. art-based Green Goblin with the bat-wing Goblin Glider and alternate heads, 1995 "opera gloves" suit Invisible Woman (not the two-piece version, see the 1995 "Marvel Masterpieces" trading cards for the suit I mean), Generation X suit Jubilee, a Deluxe Merged/Professor Hulk in his brown Pantheon-era jumpsuit, blue-and-white Fantastic Four tanktop/suit Thing (see the 1995 "Marvel Metal" trading cards for what I mean), orange-and-black suit Leader with the "Jiffy Pop" style brain look, red-and-white classic suit Falcon, classic Lizard that everyone can find, the black-and-red/early '90s suit Wonder Man I mentioned, classic Silver Age Punisher, purple-and-blue suit Boomerang, "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" versions of Felicia Hardy, Alistair Smythe in his hoverchair, the Kingpin, the Shocker, Nick Fury and the Punisher, the 1977 Nicholas Hammond version of Spider-Man with a Peter Parker alternate head and removable web-shooter and utility belt, Bill Bixby's Dr. David Banner, Lou Ferrigno's Incredible Hulk, Jack Colvin's Jack McGee, Scorpia, Overdrive, classic "Clone Saga" era suit Stunner, and a first appearance/John Romita Jr. art-based Hobgoblin where the Glider stays on the figure's feet this time.

Thanks for reading my nonsense.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
