Pure speculation post -
To me it looks like both lists from Displaying Model Behavior (DMB) and Marvelous News are viable, but Marvelous News is a bit more reliable, especially in the case of the ROM wave - a 6 figure wave as opposed to an 8 figure wave.
Anyways, I think the mini-comic wave is a 6-figure Retro Card wave at big box retail and Fan Channel with:
ROM, classic Banshee, Adam Warlock, Miles Morales, Dark Avengers Wolverine/Daken, Ultimate Iron Man
That leaves Werewolf By Night, Ai Apaec and Carol Danvers (mentioned by DMB) open to go somewhere else, if they are indeed coming in 2025.
Werewolf By Night and Ai Apaec are monsters/creatures. Could another monster wave be too soon coming off the heels of the Strange Tales wave?
As for all of the X-Men names listed that aren't associated with a Retro Card, 2-pack or Deluxe, there's:
Fabian Cortez, Marrow, Husk, AOA Gambit, X-Force Nightcrawler, Ultimate Wolverine
That could be one heck of a Retro Card or BAF wave, just missing 1 figure and the BAF of course it's they are in a BAF wave.
DMB has X-Factor Cyclops in a 2-pack with Jean. Marvelous News just has Cyclops as "we'll be seeing" him listed with all the figures I put in the BAF wave. I guess time will tell.
Also, there's a guy on Instagram that's been saying for awhile now that he's seen evidence of a Black Bolt/Medusa 2-pack. So maybe it's not Black Bolt and Triton. However this plays out, I'm just happy we're potentially getting more Inhumans and updating the outdated ones.
I think the following figures from the first leak circulating around Facebook and Instagram is not accurate at all:
Spider-Man (Bug Eyes Armor)
Arachnoman
Princess Python
Slyde
Hypno-Hustler
Spider-Boy was listed in this wave, but it seems more likely he'll be in the Retro Card wave listed by both DMB and Marvelous News.

I wonder if Marrow may be a single card addition to the Marvel vs Capcom two-pack assortment. Or just in a look that’d be compatible with that line as they’ve previously done with Cable and War Machine. (Even with Blackheart they played up that connection by posing the BAF against modular Iron Man when they revealed it.)

Hey I've got a crazy idea, give us Triton and Gorgon so we can be done with the Inhumans. No wonder his name is Dwight STALL. That said, I'd be glad if they made a classic Medusa, but I expect they'd use the same tooling - and they have proven can't make a good Black Bolt three times now.
"That leaves Werewolf By Night, Ai Apaec and Carol Danvers (mentioned by DMB) open to go somewhere else, if they are indeed coming in 2025."
I'd love to think that WBN is going to be a classic comic version, but smart money is they've been bullied by DDisney to make a D+ version.
Have we been getting MCU/comic mixed waves or are they a thing of the past? I think Werewolf by Night has a good chance of being comic-based if he's comic-based. That Jackal figure was never reused. Or a new furry body could be reused for a 80s style Beast.
A Black Bolt/Medusa and Gorgon/Triton 2pks make sense for people who may not feel the need to buy new BB and Medusa figures. But certainly, it makes more business sense to split up BB and M to force people into buying them again if they only want Gorgon and Triton. BB and M would likely reuse bodies from other figures, while Gorgon and Triton would need a bunch of new parts (if not all new bodies). So it may make sense to split them up costwise.
There's a lot of interesting items on both of these lists. But I'd be skipping a ton it. I don't need a ton of Spidey variations, so I typically only want a figure or two from his waves and hope I'm not interested in their BAF. X-Men are getting to be the same way for me. While I like the idea of big expansive rosters, I'm also realizing I don't really need to get every character.
I do like the idea of "ultimate" versions of characters. People lament not being able to get a nice regular Hulk, and do to his size, he has to be a standalone release. So making a really cool standalone comic Hulk makes sense. And if he and a classic Spider-Man (always in demand) can launch a new subline of apex versions of A-listers...well, this sounds like a great idea. This is further proof I don't shouldn't get the Secret Wars Cap, as I can see an "ultimate" version of him being soon down the road for this treatment. Wonder what they'd do for Iron Man? 70s version but finally with butterfly joints?

Or, the mini-comic wave is going to be in BAF style boxes, and sold to retailers as either an 8-figure case with no duplication, or sold as solid cases per character. Kind of a new option between the BAF and Retro waves? Maybe something they are trying for what will be catch-all waves with no theme...
Champion is long overdue, and will finally complete my Marvel Two-In-One Annual 7 lineup. Although Doc Samson is in dire need of an upgrade.

They already made Man-Thing so I doubt they'd need "bullying" to do the title character. That said I'm assuming this is a comic version.

They still do the mixed waves; Guardians of the Galaxy 3 was a solidly MCU wave, but The Marvels and Ant-Man 3 were both a mixture of comic and movie. That said, I don't think we've had a situation where it's a single MCU figure among an otherwise entirely comic book wave, so yeah, WBN is likely a comic version. In one of the recent interviews Dwight said something about the MCU Werewolf requiring a totally new sculpt as opposed to the comic version implicitly being something that could utilize reused parts, which says to me they've looked into the character in the past.
I hope Marrow is the more deformed Morlocks version and not the "prettyfied" one.
I’d love to get a new Blackbolt, perhaps on the Vulcan body.
Very curious about Super-Skrull rumors. I’m in for multiples of any Skrulls!
I hope Marrow is the more deformed Morlocks version and not the "prettyfied" one.
I’d prefer the prettified version since that’s the one that’ll fit best with an MVC display. But including an alternate deformed head should be an easy enough matter.

The one only one I can think of was the first Ant-Man movie, though the BAF was also MCU (and from an entirely different movie).
The Champion of the Universe & Magus 2-pack is an interesting pairing. Do these two have any direct connection besides both being cosmic characters?
It's great that they are (rumored to be) making Adam Warlock and Magus in the same year. What are the odds we'll get two heads packed in with Magus for his original and Infinity Gauntlet looks?
We gotta get him with that white afro.

No point in doing so really, as Morlock Marrow and X-Men/MvC2 Marrow had different bodysuits/colors. X-Men Marrow had a more normal flesh tone while the evil Morlock version was more of a darker pink skin color. They could do MvC2 colors Marrow and include her other head with the bone crown/tiara if they wanted, but I'd prefer a different expression for the same neon crewcut head sculpt we'd be expecting.
I *really* hope it's X-Men Marrow and not Morlocks Marrow. And I have hope because Morlocks Marrow would require way more sculpted pieces/a new sculpt.
The Abomination BAF wave with Wanda had only one MCU figure in it. FTR.
As much as I don't really care about the Inhumans, the Bucky Black Bolt is just so... disappointing. That character should be regal and that figure is not. He and Medusa deserve to look as good as Power Princess and Hyperion.
