No comic Namor to take advantage of his MCU appearance.

I mean.. the Jae Lee Namor figure came out within a year of Wakanda Forever...

I get the point - but,  I think the fact that a comic Gorr figure came out within months of the MCU figure of the same character proved we may be in different times with all of that now.

The only Nova figure I'm interested in ever getting is a redo of Annihilation Nova Prime. I really liked the figure we got when it came out - but I sold it when it started to get so gummy and soft that it could barely stand on its own without the legs warping. Really disappointing quality for ML back during those years. And that figure was a little wimpy-looking. I'd LOVE to see that design on a slightly larger body with better quality plastic. One of my favorite post-90s superhero looks, and one of my favorite story arcs.

*points up*

All of this. I loved Rich's Nova Prime time, and that series was fantastic. All the Annihilation events were great, and Rich's transformation really matured the character which is something he'd been sorely needing.

Definitely. I know I may be treading my own path on this one, but I genuinely feel like Annihilation Nova Prime isn't just one of Marvel's best 'growing up' stories, even inclusive of all the Spider-Man ones, but that it's one of the most interesting and best-handled cosmic-level protagonists in comic books.

I'll also chime in some love for Richard Rider Nova Prime. Loved the story, and getting that figure was one of my most anticipated besides Extremis at the time. I did like the execution of the original figure, but most of it no longer holds up. There's better ways to achieve that shoulder armor, whether attached to the chest armor or linked into the shoulder pegs like many shoulder pads are now. The plastic quality was not great, and he became one of the most warped figures in the collection. I mean, this figure was included in what, the first MCU GotG wave? Wasn't ML still branded "Infinite Series" back then? I think it came out around the same time as the Mandroid wave that supported Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Those were like the first waves in this familiar packaging after Return of ML on the card backs! Ancient! So I agree, it's time for an upgrade.

Annihilation is one of the best crossover events by DC or Marvel.

We're due for a new Nova Prime. It's not a terrible figure, but I remember it having jelly limbs.

Jelly limbs! That's it. I remember thinking "this is a great looking figure but I just wish he was made of better materials." Mine always felt like he was on the verge of falling apart at the seams.

Would love a new Nova, but in all honesty, a first-year full lineup of New Warriors is at the top of my wish list. I adored that comic. I fell off following what they did with Vance and the rest in more recent comics but I feel like the whole team (aside from Nova's excellent cosmic stories) kinda were under utilized once the Warriors were no longer New. (True story - I've had reviewers ask if the series I write is Teen Titans inspired and I'm always like nah, New Warriors, way more New Warriors inspired. That was the young team I was most invested in as a kid.)

Was Nova ever officially an Avenger? I don't think so?

He was briefly one of Cap's "Secret Avengers"

I need to read the whole New Warriors run.  As a kid I picked them up any time I could because they were one of my favorite teams but I lived in a small town that didn't have a comic shop until I was an adult so I had to resort to picking the issues up from the racks at our local grocery store and Walmart and it was hard to collect full runs so I missed out on several issues and had to piece together the story.

In the Toybiz days of collecting figures though, getting any New Warriors seemed like an impossible dream so I'm thankful for what Hasbro has given us.  BUT, the fact that we still don't have a green costume Namorita really bothers me.  The Justice figure is at least closer to his more classic look than hers is, but I definitely want a Marvel Boy variant at some point.

@justice I really like the version of Vance we got, quite a lot, but yeah, a classic Marvel Boy (and green Namorita - I really like the blue and red one!) are on my dream list. They could release Marvel Boy with the full mask and very-90s hair visible alternate head and I'd buy two.

The New Warriors was a fantastic series, though I admit I didn't like it quite as much once Bagley left the art. Robertson was okay, but Bagley had defined the character so much that it never felt quite...right after he left.

So with the Brave New World figures and Dark Ms. Marvel/Warbird, that's 4 more names checked off. Anyone know who is still left from the list?

So more looks at the Sentinel from NYCC and the MCU stuff from MCM.  I'm glad Marvel Legends is making bangers, but these reveals are weak, just nuggets here and there.

New female body looks great though.  I guess I can get hyped for a new Ares please???  I know Daken is obvious and we'll see what they do for Bullseye, but I want a new Ares especially with how good Odin is.

Was hoping to see Battle Damaged Spider-man and 90s Kaine.  Or Fabian Cortez.

Out of curiosity, is there a list if all the incomplete teams?

Out of curiosity, is there a list if all the incomplete teams?

It's going to depend a lot on who you ask and their criteria - i.e. which teams are important, which characters constitute the team itself, and which figures are acceptable to be counted. Here's a top of the head, definitely not complete list with the bare minimum missing figures:

Alpha Flight - Marrina
Classic Avengers - too many to list
Dark Avengers - Arguably complete with this announcement, but several figures are seriously outdated
New Avengers - Ronin
West Coast Avengers - Firebird, Hammond Torch, Living Lightning, Thing
Defenders - classic Valkyrie (old one sucks), Gargoyle, Devil-Slayer, Red Guardian
Excalibur - Phoenix at minimum, but really they should make the whole extended cast cause it's the best
Generation X - they're just getting started
Guardians of the Galaxy 3000 - Starhawk, Martinex, Charlie-27, Nikki
Guardians of the Galaxy (DnA) - Phyla, Bug, Moondragon
Hellfire Club - Leland
Inhumans - Gorgon, Triton, Maximus
Invaders - Hammond Torch, Toro, Bucky, Spitifire. Way more that could be made.
Masters of Evil (original) - Melter, Black Knight, Executioner, Wonder Man
Masters of Evil (Under Siege) - Blackout, Fixer, Goliath, Yellowjacket
New Mutants (classic) - everyone but Warlock
New Warriors (classic) - Marvel Boy, Namorita, Silhouette
Reavers - Pierce in his fancy cloak, Macon, Cole, Reese
Serpent Society - every member they haven't made
Starjammers - Hepzibah, Raza, Sikorsky
Superior Foes of Spider-Man - Overdrive
Thunderbolts (original) - Atlas, Jolt, Meteorite, Techno
Thunderbolts (Osborn's team) - Penance, Radioactive Man, Swordsman
Warriors Three - 100% incomplete, borderline scandalous
Winter Guard/Soviet Super Soldiers - Titanium Man, Vanguard, Vostok/Sputnik, Perun, Chernobog
X-Factor (original) - the whole team in their OG looks, or just Beast, Iceman and Jean for the later series
X-Force - Feral
Astonishing X-Men - Beast, Colossus, Shadowcat (Juggernaut wave remake)
Outback X-Men - Psylocke, Colossus

@h-bird You can add 90s Toad's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants (Phantazia, Thornn, & Masque).
