If the rumors are true, I guess we'll find out soon enough if Moonstones's legs will be bare, they cover them with the red leggings suit or if they'll cover them up like they did with Carol in all the 60th anniversary marketing artwork because reasons...

Karla Sofen aka Moonstone, (Meteorite, Kate Sorenson, Ms. Marvel ) | Captain marvel, Ms marvel ...

MVC Shuma is definitely the most exciting rumour for me - hopefully the fact it’s a single pack rather than double means it’s a decent size. I’ll take the man-sized Capcom sprite at a push, but the bigger the better. I wonder if they’ll make him Marvel Superheroes hot pink just to mess with us!

WHAT IF - each of the two-packs contains a tentacle? That would help with the size, and then Shuma can be a single pack. Or they can do another Sugar Man with Jean Grey also in the package sitch. Her position in that box still makes me smile.

One day I very, very much want the story of what happened with the MCU Shuma - if it was even real, somebody's gotta be willing to talk!

Hopefully Hasbro actually commits and does the full team this time.

Is this Greg Land art? Wolvie/Daken's pose is so... posing. I never actually read any of this team but I have half of it already on the shelf - did not know *this* would be the moment I finally regret never buying a Symbiote Spider-Man.

This team would be so easy to complete. Ares would require the most new parts but Hasbro should use the Hercules body to cut down on the expense and the Hercules body makes the most sense. Ares doesn't need to be as tall as the previous one or as tall as the 80th or Herald Thor. Hercules body is just right for Ares. The riders Hawkeye fits the build for Bullseye Hawkeye more than the figure did for an actual Hawkeye. Daken is just a Spiderman body with some new parts. Gargan Spiderman is very simple and so is Moonstone Ms. Marvel.

I want a new Ares. Loved the 2008 but Hasbro has come a long way.

The Shuma-Gorath licensing issue was supposedly specifically around the name, since it was created by Robert E. Howard. But the design itself was all Marvel; they were still allowed to release merchandise under a different name.

Guys, we literally just got a Warbird with no pants, not to mention Wolfsbane, Namorita, Power Princess and retro She-Hulk. I don't think that's gonna be an issue here. Capcom Psylocke is also on the leaked list and she looks like this:

I have no idea what the rationale behind the marketing art having pants on Carol was, but I don't think this is a Moondragon type situation where the costume is deemed so scandalous that they can't put it out.

I wonder if the Iron Man wave is either a Build-A-Figure wave or a retro carded wave, because when it comes to the Mandarin, I want the 90s animated version.

Displaying Model Behavior said that "we should be getting the full Marvel vs. Capcom roster" from the first game, but I didn't hear him address the idea that Marvel supposedly no longer has the rights to Shuma-Gorath.

I'm skeptical we'll get him, but I sure hope I'm wrong.  It's possible that the version of Shuma from the Capcom games is somehow an exception in a similar way that action figure companies are releasing Andrew Garfield's unmasked head and branding it as "Amazing Spider-Man 2" since he did release the rights to his likeness for that film but not No Way Home.  Marvel did have the rights to Shuma when the Capcom games released, so perhaps Hasbro can release a figure based upon his appearance in those games.

Out of that list, I'd like to think that my "definites" are Jean & Cyke, Archangel, Banshee, Moonstone, Chameleon, Adam Warlock, Mandarin, Crossbones/Constrictor and my "possibles" are US Agent, Punisher, battle damage Spidey, Rom, some of the MvC stuff.

I say "I'd like to think", because in my heart I know I'll get considerably more than this, especially if there is a BAF or two I want. I'm weak.

Captain Moon-Marvel-Stone, is neat and all, but I would prefer her classic look. Come on Hasbro, just make her in that costume, already.

So... the Shuma Gorath thing is maybe the least surprising bit of news to me -  because we had heard Hasbro had a Shuma Gorath figure finished and ready to release in conjunction with the Multiverse of Madness movie and then they ran into a hiccup - likely about clearing the use of the name on the packaging with rights owners - that stopped that from happening.

I'm guessing this is the same figure repackaged to be released in a different way.   Work out the licensing issues and sell the figure as a video game tie in, rather than a movie tie in, so you don't waste all that money you spent making it.

As for the rest of the stuff -  most of it is things we'd already heard elsewhere.

I laugh at the complaint that Husk is the Gen X character they are making next since she's the easiest to do,  so easy many of us have already done it ourselves.   That's WHY she's included...  Skin or Mondo would require significant investment to make.  All new tools.   Even Synch probably requires a bunch of new parts.   Husk can be done entirely with existing pieces if they want -  maybe they'll give us a new head.   If they wanted to throw us a bone they might give us a nod toward her powers by giving us a head and arm cast in translucent blue plastic like Crystar or painted silver...  if we're really lucky those would be swappable with regular parts (but I wouldn't count on it).

The X-factor 2-pack is definitely going to give us the same blue and white Cyclops we already got as a retro.   Hasbro knows they have us over a barrel.

It makes me mad that they will give us a Dark Avengers "Moonstone",  ostensibly the third Moonstone figure they've done,  and will have never given us the only version of Moonstone I actually want -  her classic costume she wore for years before the Thunderbolts.    Also I want her in her Meteorite costume.     The Dark Avengers look is cop out, man.

Fabian Cortez is new and fun.   I honestly am surprised that we live in a world where Fabian Cortez gets a figure before Exodus.   Exodus seems so much more Toyetic to me... but?

And this new Charles Xavier -  I'm guessing this version will be the rumored jumpsuit Chuck - the repainted WCA Hank Pym just sat in the same hover chair previously released.       That way you can stand him up if you want or sit him down and he can have a different look from the previous seated version.

For some reason, I was picturing classic Moonstone when I read the leaked list. Just googled Dark Avengers Moonstone, and yup, that's changing her from "Definite buy" to "easy pass". Really hoping we get Under Siege era Moonstone sooner rather than later, but now I fear this release will push a third iteration back another couple of years. Then again, we're on our third Brother Voodoo...this line is interesting.

I want a classic Moonstone as much as anybody, but making "Dark Avengers" Moonstone is a great move - because I also want a classic Ms Marvel! As long as they include a Carol head I'm stoked at this rumor, and will be buying this figure (at least) twice.

I can be as cynical as the next guy, but the cost of producing blue/yellow Cyclops would be the same as blue/white so not sure what they would gain by holding off on the blue/yellow version. They still have a half-dozen X-Factor variants to make that are almost all repaints, so I think they would be shooting themselves in the foot to put that same Cyke out again and burned the fanbase so overtly.
