I just watched a video about another supposed leaked list out there. He was pretty clear to say it could be bogus, but I'm curious if anybody else has seen this list or know where it came from.
It included things like X-Force Warpath and original-colors X-Factor Jean and Scott 2-pack. Anybody know what he was talking about?
I think the Fox movie X-Men costumes would be better if some of the outlined areas were filled in with color. Wolverine for example. Instead of having outlines for the tiger stripes, fill those in with color. They could still be mainly black leather for uniformity but some patches, and not lines, of color would make the pop a bit more.
I would prefer that for sure, but would they do something that isn't screen accurate?
I, for one, never minded the leather suits. It's nice having uniformity between the team so that they actally look like a team. They're maybe not the most interesting of costumes, but they look pretty durable, and are just toyetic enough to work. I....... I remember each character had some color shading/piping in their respective suits to distinguish them and set them apart (and to serve as a little tribute to their comic costumes, I think)
I too liked the X-Men uniforms from the first film - the piping as you note added a little variety to what made sense as a set of matching team unis. Plus, the 1st appearance X-Men uniforms in the comics were dull and had no variety so there is precedent in the source material for everyone to have the same look, and I viewed the movie versions as honoring that.
I always liked the giant size team and how they weren't in matching uniforms but looked great together because of the variety in colors.
For those of you who aren't at all into figures from the later movies, would you take figures of the end of Apocalypse suits with alt heads for both versions of the characters like the Charles/Magneto set?
Really really really want that rumored X-23 to be true and she have the new female hyper articulated style teen body.
@ru1977 Oh, I'm not suggesting Hasbro makes their figures like that. Just an idea on how the costumes could have improved without radically remaking them.

Normally I would dismiss this but it is so out of left field it almost make it seem plausible. Didn't the poster who had intel on ROM mention something about it coming with a comic book, which seemed confusing?
Could Dwight's epic BAF be a working comic book spinner rack, and a new thing for the line would be to conceptually go back to the line's roots and have a "comic" in each package?
EDITED to add: So each "comic" would have a cover on the front and a QR code on the back, and you could store your collection of these in the spinner rack - maybe it could hold a lot, like 100+, if these comics are basically on card stock and not thick?

I would buy a Marvel Girl and Cyclops X-Factor 2-pack, but only a madman would prefer the green and yellow Jean with the cowl to the red and yellow with the facemask! And blue/white Cyclops > blue/yellow Cyclops.
Seriously though, would be very excited if these rumors are true. Please, the more original X-Factor, the better!
