Yeah, he might have been also. That was the one with the screwed up head mold I think.

Anyway, over the moon to finally have Astonishing Beast.
Hopefully they’re working on a way to engineer Armor so we can have the entire Astonishing team.
Great reveals overall! I don't love the Min Comics as a concept for a wave but I think all the characters look great and I really appreciate a wave with half of the roster being ladies.
Instant buys for me are Rachel, Feral, Mystique, Storm and Deathbird. Will probably get that Black Widow too. Iceman was a nice surprise and Astonishing Beast turned out great.
If having mini comics leads to reallocating the budget for a BaF to characters within the wave, then I don't have an issue with them. It gave us ROM and Ultimate Iron Man last wave, and it appears Beast and maybe Daredevil (or Rachel?) this wave. Wherever the lion's share of the budget goes.
If this model can get us more unique mold-specific characters (major Serpent Society or Asgardian wants maybe?), then I'll grab these all day long. Plus, I MUCH prefer retro cards over Legends standard boxes any day.
I think the mini comics are useless but I really like the character selection. I am surprised they’re going this route instead of a build a figure. If there was a build a figure I wanted, I would have bought the whole wave. Now I’m going to Cherry pick and just grab Rachel, Feral, and Astonishing Beast.
With Deathbird’s reveal, they have truly covered most A, B, and C list X-Characters. It’s hard to think of who they’re missing before going into D list characters. That’s fantastic.
Hasbro continues their stellar record with Mystique box art errors, in the digital mock up of the Retro version they have the VHS hair (which looks much better than the older sculpt they're reusing).

Mistakenly showing us what they have planned for us in 2 yrs or so. Could have ditched the "Jean" head (why would she be disguising herself as Jean from a singular look that wasn't widely used?) and put this as the alternate one.
