Mephisto. He’s the next made to order figure like the Sentinel and Dragon Man.

X-Men fans feasted this SDCC! Great panel, and I loved they gave Ryan his moment. I'm in for all of the X-Men related characters and Mephisto. Nice to see Emma appears to have a good deal of new parts too. Just as I'm finishing up on my comic Marvel Girl modifications they show a pretty fantastic version. Such is the way!

Only negative was the butthurt dude who went second in the Q&A.The perfect example of what not to do in terms of etiquette. They let the teen go first and his face looked like a smacked arse. And then proceeded to make the cardinal sin of interviews and asked if specific characters are coming. No wonder the Legends team go through long spells of closing ranks and not talking to the fanbase.

Now I'm just waiting for those HD pictures!

Lots of good stuff, but my favorite reveal by far was the 2-pack of Starfox and Champion. Feral would be 2nd.

The rest are just OK, but nothing essential for me after those. I'll buy a lot more than that, but those 3 figures are what I'm truly excited for, personally.

In for most of the X-Men stuff, kinda nonplussed that a lot of it is characters I already have or looks like a lot of figures who just came out recently.  Dunno that I'll run out and get "silver" Storm as she looks more gray than silver.  Feral looks good, though I fear she and Wolfsbane will be the same color of orangey plastic.  Was happy to see brown suit Wolverine but rather miffed that they just painted the thin Secret Wars stripe down the torso, as that's not what the 90s Jim Lee or X-Men 97 brown suit Wolverine looked like.  Diving cap Cyclops looks okay but I hope his belt moves up to reveal his usual yellow underoos, as the way he's displayed in that two-pack he looks like he's wearing a yellow banana-hammock.  I hope one of those Rachel Grey heads has a mullet but it didn't look like it in the pics.  Oddly was interested in the basketball Gambit and Rogue since I like 90s Jim Lee-esque stuff.  Dunno if I need most of this stuff that was shown today.  Seemed mostly like stuff that are "like to gets" to "maybe on sale," rather than "have to have's."  At least they're making a battle-damaged Spidey though, which leads to a battle-damaged Wolverine I hope.

Surprised we didn't get a "hint" image/item, but that may have been something from Ryan that isn't being carried over.

Overall kinda meh, but there's really not too many non-deep-cut stuff that I still want, so more of the same characters slightly improved seems to be the way the rest of the year looks to be headed.

The bit about "we made a blackbird" sounded cool but I'm of the mindset of "it would be awesome but I have no where to put it" and for some reason I feel like they'd make it the '97 one rather than comic based since the comics Blackbird has gone through different looks.

Excalibur Rachel Summers: Instant buy. So happy to finally see her! And she has flame-wings! I’ve been hoping and advocating for those for years! And the extra head with tattoos. I’m so thrilled!

My only nitpicks: her hair looks more brown than red. And not fond of the two-tone wings. I would prefer they were all yellow or orange. Hopefully this is just due to it being a photo of a render on a screen. I hope they are translucent.

Curious why they are calling her Dark Phoenix? I don’t remember Rachel ever being called that, even when she wore the actual Dark Phoenix costume.

Already hoping for a deluxe/maximum release with a mullet head and another head with flaming hair, plus bigger, fuller flame wings.

Anyway: very happy!

Feral: instant buy. 90s X-Force is complete!

I wonder why they aren’t using the furry Wolfsbane sculpt? I would have thought reusing that for Feral (and Hepzibah) was a major incentive to make those new parts for Wolfsbane.

Outback Storm: Skipping because they gave her the wrong hair. That ruins it for me. Most people likely associate the wild v-shaped hair with this costume. I’ll wait for a proper version.

‘97 Roberto: skipping because I want Sunspot with alternate Roberto parts. They got it right with the New Mutants costume, but I wish he had an alternate head with powers activated, and more unique effects rather than the mostly-generic fireballs. Again, I’ll wait and hope for a better version.

‘97 Emma Frost: Maybe, due to the improved joints.  The Hellfire version is so gummy it’s unable to stand. Wish she had some telepathic effects. I’d love to see the psychic javelin from Pryde of the X-Men

Undecided:

Cyclops and Marvel Girl look great. Except Cyclops needs brighter red in the visor on the neutral face. At first glance I thought it was empty. This pack out of heads and various optic blast effects should be standard for Cyke.

Jean still needs new, better telepathic/telekinetic effects. And the green of her costume seems like it should be brighter.

Basketball Rogue is cool. Love the new head/hair. I appreciate these casual versions, but I don’t need them.

Very glad to see Jubilee gets new energy effects.

Morph looks good. Glad for the alternate heads.

Hyped for Starfox! Might cave on Mephisto price depending but Im ok with my Select version.

Bummed about the Outback Storm hair, was expecting the more era-appropriate ‘do.

Rachel looks great, Feral I don’t like the character or that particular look at all but they nailed it.

I’ll be getting 3 ‘97 Bertos two to kitbash Sam and Doug, Jubilee to retire the BaF on the shelf and the Scott and Jean set.

What and amazing time as fan of the female members of the X-Men! Between this panel and my new Psylocke coming to me next week, I'm in collector heaven.

Rachel and Feral are perfect IMO! Can't wait to add them to my collection.

So are 97 Logan, Jean, Scott, Cable and brown costume Wolverine. OG costume Storm has amazing effects, two heads, but her face sculpt is not very pretty, is it? I can't tell what it is, but don't love it. Maybe it'll better in person. But I love how dark she is! And both hair sculpts. Emma is almost perfect. Could use new feet that are not a pain to stand. Jubilee is amazing but wrong costume.

Outback Storm: wrong hair. Bummer. Will still get her but I feel they took the mininum effort route with her. Like with Outback Rogue. Hope they do the homework when it comes to Betsy and Piotr on those costumes.
