Mystique looks nice and will join the plethora of Mystiques I now have, but that's not a bad thing.

I'll get Bully, her, She-Hulk and maybe Weapon X.

Masque is tempting by virtue of being a female figure with a cool design.

Excited to see how Psylocke turns out. Hopefully the definitive Jim Lee-esque version for a while so they can concentrate on her first pink costume and Outback.

While I acknowledge the Madame Masque is an upgrade over the previous version -  having to buy Crossbones again... a character I've never particularly liked and who they've sold to me multiple times already, is a bit of a bummer.

I'm glad for a good FF She-Hulk figure,  the previous version wasn't ideal.

Target exclusive Weapon X... ehh... I'm sure I'll buy it, but it's not substantially different from the versions we've got previously.    I would have way preferred a Team X Logan on that card as that exclusive.

Mystique again wasn't that surprising, but is a tad boring.   I know there are people who didn't get the Walgreens version and so another bite at this apple is welcome.     At least they tweaked things slightly and the alternate Black Queen Jean Grey head is kind of fun.

Maximum Hulk is.... eh..   I don't need the rocket accessory,  don't care about that at all.   The extra heads are nice, I guess -  though there's really only one of them I really see myself using.    I do like the thunder-clap effect though,  that is fun.    I can't decide if it's something I will pay the asking price for.   Spider-Man didn't do it for me... this one is closer... but it's going to be so expensive.

Don't care about the move figures... so the Thunderbolts figures are uninspiring for me - especially since most of the characters have been released before.   Sentry is the new one, and it's nice his look is close to the comics, but not something I want or need.

The updated video game Velocity Suit Spider-Man looks sharp but is a Wal Mart exclusive I can skip.

All in all I was hoping to see one more "never been done before" comic figure... but I guess I'm just being greedy.   Honestly though,  the only "never been done before" figure they showed off was the MCU Sentry right?   Every thing else had already got a figure in Legends previously?    Even all the other MCU figures?   Sigh.

Wow, I was able to log in for the first time in a very long time! From last week's Hasbro reveals:

There was nothing that I'd consider must have. I could easily pass on them all and be fine. How they show that many figures and not offer even one never before made characters is just insulting, honestly.

My favorite reveal was the Crossbones / Madame Masque 2-pack. I didn't realize just how much of upgrades of these figures were until I compared to what I had currently in my display. Next would be the retro card Mystique.

Red Guardian is one of those characters that I'm just a fool for, so I'll likely buy that 2-pack but hopefully on sale.

Maximum Hulk doesn't feels so Maximum. I'll likely get it, but I won't feel good about it.

Hard passes on emo Tobey, Weapon X, MCU Daredevil and  MCU Sentry / US Agent. I think that was everything, right?

The teases for MvC Juggernaut and Psylocke... we'll just have to see. I've wanted a new Jim Lee Psylocke for a very long time, but I'm not sure I want to pay $70ish for her and Thanos... Juggernaut would have to be an upgrade over the last one and not just a repaint. The only rumored MvC figure that will definitely be a must have is the Shuma-Gorath / Gargantos.

What's with that $35.00 price point on the emo Toby figure?

Is that gonna be standard after the Great Pumpkin's tax hike?

Never been a Hulk guy, but thought I might get one if it's the "definitive" Hulk I want...it's not, so money saved.  None of the head sculpts are one's I'd leave on it.  The green is nice but they could've at least included the reuse bent pipe and shockwave stomp stand from the previous versions.  Already setting a dangerous precedent with the Maximum series if people are begging for reuse and you're still using disc hip twist on it.  Oh well money saved.

I don't need a Mystique or Weapon X replacement for the ones I already have.  Will likely have to decide on the preorder date if I want to, since very little X-stuff that I want seems to be coming out.  Don't need a new anime-inspired Juggernaut.  Hopefully Capcom Psylocke isn't overly cartoony, or the skintone matches the Uncanny 275 head we got with her.

Beyond that if they're going to raise, raise, raise prices I'll largely just pull back even more.  A lot of stuff goes on sale, and if I never see it again so be it, more money for the overpriced stuff I do feel like I need.  Some folks are saying that Spidey 3 Symbiote Tobey was leaked as being a "deluxe" first before the tariffs were a guarantee, and BBTS raised their price another couple dollars a few minutes after posting the preorder originally.  If that's how it's going to go, I don't need it that badly.  I find I'm mostly concerned with finishing up my McFarlane DC collection that I want.

The Madam Masque figure looks decent, I like the hair sculpts but I don't have any attachment to the character.  The Crossbones update did make me think it might work for a Team X Victor Creed in tactical gear should they decide to pursue that and not just give us Team X Wolverine alone with no Maverick or Creed.

That new Crossbones look good, however the colors on his uniform is a little off, nothing a little custom paiting won't fix once I get it in hand.

What's with that $35.00 price point on the emo Toby figure?

It's $30.  Whenever they've had an all-new sculpt like this for the past 7+ years they charge an extra $5 over the standard price, and Tobey matches that pattern.

Well, looks like things have stabilised a bit - good work Mods!

I’m slowly talking myself into buying Hulk - largely because I’ve not had a new Legend in months and am getting major withdrawal pangs. I realised that the grinning head with the slicked hair would make for a decent MVC Hulk if I can sculpt on some floppy hair at the front. With all the other Capcom stuff coming down the pipe, that’s enough for me. Wish it had come with the stomp effect, as I didn’t get that Hulk, so it looks like I’ll be looking for that too…

Does anybody know where the Keown head for Max Hulk is from? I don't recall Keown drawing him with that part in his hair in the 90s. I know he's drawn Hulk since then, but I haven't been able to place it.

It’s supposed to be based on Smart Hulk/Professor Hulk.

I like the color of green.  If they did a Gary Frank Hulk I might go for that, since that's what the Marvel Super Heroes game version was based on.  Beyond that these heads look awful in my opinion.  Deodato's Hulk typically used a lot of shadow to make the gigantic teeth look menacing, this just looks like it comes from the Big Book of British Smiles.  The McGuinness head looks accurate to the comic, but why THAT face and no stoic one?  Keown to me doesn't look THAT Keown based to me, but to each their own.  Now I'm trying to decide which phoned it in more, Hulk or Spiderman.  I get that they're trying new "experimental" stuff with each, but supposedly Spidey no longer has the ability to do the splits compared to some GI Joes, so for me that's not "Maximum" they're just trying new things that may stick around or not.  I'd save the "Maximum" or ultimate classification for the model they come out with where everything is established and proven and it blows most folks minds.  I found myself with waning interest in both of these.  Supposedly theres a Storm deluxe leaked, maybe it's a Maximum, but honestly I'm happy with the 3 I've got + Mafex.

I'm glad to get Emo Tobey. Disappointed in the retro carded X-Men, though. I was hoping they'd continue to push new ground or what at least hoping that Mystique would have an undone character head.

The Hulk figure is fine, but it's not like "definitive" for me. The 80th anniversary Hulk works as a perfect classic Hulk to me, and the SDCC version of it is a basic '90s Hulk in my opinion.
