Oh thank goodness... with tax and Pulse shipping he was $50... at least at BBTS in my pile of loot the shipping cost spread out over 20 items ends up like twenty cents per item. And like I said, I try to avoid Pulse at all costs.
So it's not just me. Hasbro's site fucking sucks!
Got it to work on Edge
I ordered through Pulse. I’ve never had a major issue with them. I’ve renewed my membership for years.
Only real issue I’ve ever had with Pulse is the bizarre fact that they always seem to ship last and of course receiving a wave in 6 separate boxes.
I called Pulse and they told me that they're aware of the problem; they've been working on it for weeks. 😳
I usually pay with a credit card, but they told me that payment with PayPal still works. I'm reluctant to pay that way because the payment is placed immediately, not when the item is in stock and shipping. I like to be able to cancel if necessary.
But anyway, I tried it and it does work if you pay on Pulse with PayPal.
I occasionally buy from Pulse, but not all that often. It's usually for their exclusives and sometimes other things that are going up for sale at the same time as their exclusives (in one big order).
I prefer the level of communication that I get from BBTS about when things are about to hit and their Pile of Loot option, even if I usually end up paying an average of $1 more per figure there. Honestly compels me to report that I've started using Amazon a lot more for pre-orders over the past year, but BBTS is still my preferred method. I hate seeing a charge from Amazon without any prior communication that something is preparing to ship. This is the same reason why I don't do much business with Entertainment Earth and some other places anymore. BBTS just communicates better.
It make no sense not try to fix this problem from pulse asap, they are loosing and about the paypal option it is unfair for some people, specially premium members, in any other sites you have to use paypal for preorders, to me seems that they do not want to fix the issue, probably they want to change the business model without let us know, lets be honest fix this should not take this long, they just want money now.
Yep, if they can't get it fixed then they miss out on a HasLab sale and my son misses out on a Transformer.
@stephenwdavis same. I sometimes roll my eyes a bit when they upcharge stuff a few bucks. I think they intentionally factor in their low shipping price and know they can add 3 bucks or so and it will still be the cheapest option after shipping. And they've always taken care of me when I've had an issue. With EE, I think my delivery percentage on preorders is probably something like 5 or 10% because, for whatever reason, the stuff I order from them just stays in preorder purgatory until I find a cheaper, in-stock, option. The amount of preorders I've cancelled there is way more than the orders delivered. As for Pulse, I had Pulse Premium for one year and had no complaints. Usually stuff shipped early, which often happens with Hasbro product in general which I like. I got my money's worth in that on year as there was a bunch of exclusives they were doing (X-Men animated, mostly) that I was in on, but didn't make sense to keep it after my membership was up. It sucks to hear the website has gone to shit recently. Makes me wonder how interested they are in actually handling their own direct to consumer business.
I only use EE for in stock orders or occasional clearance sales.
What’s the issue right now with Pulse? Seems like something specific? Again, I haven’t had issues with ordering or payments, been smooth for just about every transaction I’ve had recently.

Did they flip flop on the way they handle PayPal? I thought they used to charge right away, but then they started to charge PayPal when items arrived. I would've had some uncomfortably big upfront preorder charges. If so, thank you for the heads up.
I don't have any current Pulse preorders besides the Sentinel and that was a PayPal.
If anyone is interested the cmdstore has Savage Land Professor X in stock for $27.99. I missed the pre-order and personally don't feel like checking Target or constantly checking online. They also have Warbird in stock, the evil Ms. Marvel version.
