They all did staggered reveals, but were those figures put up for preorder then as well? I’m pretty sure the Hawkeye figures were revealed separately but didn’t have any order info.
Anyway, Daredevil looks great. Hopefully we get the yellow suit too.

As I posted, they only put up the pre orders a few months later once it was confirmed they were part of a BAF wave.
This is going up for pre order immediately.
Just putting this thought out there - imagine that these projects were saved in the edit. You may not like what you see, but what you see is the better version that makes more sense than what was shot.
Sweet black baby Jesus...
If I wasn't already sitting, I would need to. Maybe I need to stand.
I wasn't sure where else to post this. I saw this on reddit a few days ago and found it fascinating.
Jada uses far fewer parts despite offering a better range of motion.
A Jada figure with that kind of engineering gets more range, but would a Hasbro one? They can't design balljoint articulation worth a damn.

Actually, yeah, the preorders were staggered.
here is the marvelousnews article announcing when the Moon Knight figures were going to go for preorder (4/12), after Hawkeye and Kate Bishop had already gone up for preorder. They also speculate the next figure to be revealed will be Ms Marvel, to go for preorder on 6/8.

And another marvelousnews article about the final figure of that wave, She-Hulk, going for preorder on 8/18. The preorders were spread out over 5-6 months.

And I preorederd the wave on Amazon, and checked back on it. And my preorer dates were staggered

In the post you’re quoting, I said they didn’t put them up for pre-order until it was confirmed they were in a wave. Looking at the links you were provisioned, it does indeed say in both links that they’re part of a wave and even include pics of the BAF parts.
They were not solicited for order without specifying they were gonna be part of a larger assortment, which is what this Daredevil would be doing if it really is part of a wave.
Like I said, the simplest explanation is the correct one here. The leaks didn’t say it was part of a wave, so unless the pre-order info tomorrow says it is, we can safely assume it and Punisher are one-offs for now.
And they don't always do things the same way every time, otherwise that Hawkeye wave wouldn't have caused so many conniptions at the time. Myself included.
The simplest explanation is POSSIBLY the correct one. Maybe even likely. But I still wouldn't say "IS" as in no doubt. Unless you know more than we do, you cannot say for certain. Maybe tomorrow, or sometime in the next few months, you'll be proven completely correct, but I don't see how we can be certain of that today. but obviously we all enjoy arguing things we can't completely prove yet.
Feels kinda like splitting hairs at this point, tbh. If they say it’s part of a wave tomorrow I’ll happily admit I was wrong, but somehow I don’t feel that’ll be an issue.

I saw that post too. I would absolutely love to see ML move to this torso/leg setup, for exactly the reasons in the post. It really raises questions around why they've engineered it the way they have when this seems like an objectively better setup, from range of motion to total amount of parts. That thread is full of people dunking on the design team and chalking it up to stupidity, but I think that's bogus. I wonder if it has anything to do with different safety standards, tolerances for breakage, or some other factor that isn't obvious to someone who doesn't work on the design/manufacturing side of things?
They're just used to doing things a certain way and change is hard. And costly. Look at the trouble they have with double-ball joints in necks. Even the Max Spidey still has a hinge there. They probably assume similar growing paints with all ball joints in the torso and waist. Safety standard excuses are kind of bogus though as that's all internal. No external force is telling them they can't do it a certain way. Plus their figures already come with small parts and removable ones. All things considered, Hasbro would just rather maintain their current infrastructure. While many of us would prefer a different setup, convincing Hasbro that it would actually lead to increased sales is probably a hard sell and that's what they value most at the end of the day.

Yeah I mean it's sheer speculation, and the safety/quality standards bit is just a guess. I get that there is a certain inertia to changes, especially with the combination of long-running line + big corp that has less dynamic decision-making. I'm hopeful that some time in the next year we'll see a figure introduced with some version of this vastly improved torso articulation set up. Not asking or expecting them to scrap every body that currently exists, but just some sign that they're aware of the potential improvements they could be introducing for (seemingly) little to no additional cost.
I think if people keep asking for it when they get the chance with the Legends team then there's always a possibility. I was really surprised the Maximum Spider-Man didn't introduce it because that seemed like the opportune time. And as you noted, if it does happen it will be sporadic. One set of tools for an all new figure that's not available all of the time for all of the future figures like we've seen with pinless vs non. Hasbro just strikes me as a very slow moving engine and it's hard to get them to make a change that seems small to us on the outside, but on the inside probably takes a lot of convincing, politicking, etc. to get into motion.
