To weigh in on the two or three figure thing, the leak that Beamish posted in the 2025 leak thread listed Daredevil and Punisher only, but I've seen others (including Marvelousnews) saying there is a third one from this show. So I think we're just trying to reconcile the leaked wave with that information.

@ru1977 I really liked Echo when she was in the New Avengers orbit there in the mid 2000s. The new show didn't really grab me the same way. Cool if she's made, but I would suspect a substantial peg-warm on that one.
Eh, probably... but I don't care. I went into that show wanting a figure of her initial look, but came out wanting her final costume that is in no way comic accurate.
And that's when I first got into the character too, then read Daredevil and found her there as well. No, the show wasn't what I was hoping but I enjoyed a lot of aspects of it. It's another one of the Marvel projects around the same time (I think Marvels is the other one I can think of) that really suffered in the edit.
I would absolutely love a new Elektra done in either her costume from the DD S2 finale or Defenders. Both were good, and would make a fantastic figure.
Totally agree. I would prefer her DD season 2 costume, but either would be an improvement for me.
I actually enjoyed Defenders a lot more during the re-watch, and forgot how great Elektra was once she stepped into the top spot with the Hand.
I REALLY loved Elektra from the Netflix shows, and completely agree. And that encourages me to try the show again. I never hated it, but thought the Hand was something of a letdown at the time. My own rewatch got about halfway through Daredevil season 2, and I plan to continue on with it, Defenders, and season 3, but tonight I'm going right to Born Again anyway.
Danny will always be the weakest link, but it would be nice to get a decent figure of him with a mask or something actually Iron Fisty. I was always really pleased with both Luke Cage releases. If they released him in the hoodie and made him bulkier, that would be a cool update.
Agreed on Luke. The hoodie could be a cool version and offer something new. I guess Jessica they could just add a scarf, heh. And yeah, even when Danny was at his best (the Luke Cage episode and IF season 2), he was still the lesser of the four. Though I still haven't watched JJ season 3.
With Danny... again, I haven't watched Defenders since it was first released, but at the time I was thinking (because I always believe I know better than the writers of the show itself) that Danny should have taken up the Daredevil mantle after believing Matt was killed in the cave-in. Since Matt pretty much wore an all black Iron Fist suit, which is why I assume they had Danny wearing a different type of mask in his second season. But having him take on the DD persona, probably with the same style of suit as Matt wore in his first season only with a muted green or something, it could have led to Danny wearing a more comic accurate suit in his second season. And you have a quick Danny cameo in DD season 3 when he figures out Matt's back and goes back to his own thing, etc etc. basically as significant as the GOTG were in Love & Thunder. There just to move on from as quickly as possible.

Just putting this thought out there - imagine that these projects were saved in the edit. You may not like what you see, but what you see is the better version that makes more sense than what was shot.
I don't necessarily agree with this but it's worth a ponder. These projects all suffered from conception.
I have a Gotham Select Selina figure body ready to pair with an Echo head in case they don't release her Hawkeye look. I only want her for shelf completion, but I prefer that look.
@schizm Of course that's entirely possible, and I think more likely with Echo than Marvels. Marvels feels like they cut it within an inch of its life, then cut two more scenes. Nobody wants so many damned character moments!
Echo, from what I understand, had a subplot from when she fought Daredevil, and she had a contact back in New York she reached out to now and then until it's revealed to be Matt in the end. Not a huge change in the scheme of things, but something I'm sorry we lost. And I dunno, I really liked the show. Not fantastic, but not bad. I had hopes for a Marvel Reservation Dogs as far as quality and impact. It definitely didn't reach that level but I'm still glad it exists and feel like a continuation could only be better. (Yeah, I know it could be worse, but I hope they learned along the way what works and what doesn't.)
I totally forgot Jessica Jones got a 3rd season.
People are talking about the additional DD or D+ figures, but given that the pre-order is tomorrow, it really seems like this is a one-and-done, single figure to a case situation. I'm sure there will be others, but they'll be their own pre-order/case/release down the road.

All I remember about the 2nd and 3rd seasons were when they introduced the MCU Nuke, essentially. Can't even recall if that was S2 or 3.
@joedick - This was my first thought when I saw the single reveal of Daredevil, however based on the shockingly accurate leaks and the precedent of single reveals of what would be part of full waves of D+ shows specifically, and exclusively... my bet is that this figure is part of a wave to be revealed. Ideally a BAF wave.

As a kid in the early 00's, the original movie (say what you will about it- I certainly do), and the character by extension, will always hold a special place in my heart.
I love that movie, and I was 32 when it came out. I'm under no illusion that it's a great movie and isn't full of bad elements, but I love Daredevil so I was mostly fine with the film and found it highly rewatchable. The soundtrack in particular was spectacular and the best I can remember from any superhero film.
I keep an objective list of the top superhero movies ever, and I have a separate list of my own favorite films. Daredevil isn't on my objective list, but it easily cracks my own personal top 20 list. It was in my top ten for a while, but it has probably slipped a bit over the past decade.
They all did staggered reveals, but were those figures put up for preorder then as well? I’m pretty sure the Hawkeye figures were revealed separately but didn’t have any order info.
Anyway, Daredevil looks great. Hopefully we get the yellow suit too.
@hbhfback I'm almost positive they were done separately because I had orders at three different sellers, which I wouldn't have done were they listed the same day.
Looking it up, they got revealed as renders individually, but didn’t have pre-orders go up until several months later, when it was confirmed they were part of a BAF wave.

If that's the case, I'm fine with it. Don't need waves and don't want BAFs, so whatever gets these guys to my shelf.
I was actually wondering if the leak list was a little off, or maybe the Daredevil in that wave is a Shadowlands type suit or something and the standard one is what were seeing here as its own release. (In the trailer, Matt clearly has other suits besides the yellow and the red ones)
