On the one hand I want to pull the trigger because... instant gratification. On the other hand, I have pre-orders elsewhere and why not let that play out and spend that money a little later. Why do I need it in hand now, now, now!
For me it's because I HAVE the money now, so it's more convenient. 😉
Assuming I won't have the money later is the kind of negativity I just don't need in my life 🤣

Did anyone else get 12 emails from HasbroPulse about the Sentinels two-pack restock moving up? At first I thought I must have ordered more than one but I checked and I only ordered one - but got 12 emails. Anyway, it's coming 2/1.
I didn't get the e-mails which makes me even more frustrated with Pulse. They still refuse to acknowledge that they made some sort of error with my credit card information back at "PulseCon" time when they put up Kang and his chair, the Vulture/Spidey 2-pack and then the Sentinels re-stock. I did a one order with Kang, the 2-pack and the G.I. Joe exclusive that is still "pending" I have had five separate e-mail exchanges with them about it where they do not follow up. I've called the customer service line and been promised I will be contacted with no actual follow up. I made a separate order for 2 of the Sentinel 2-packs the same day and I am worried that that order is going to end up in the same non-order miasma that my Pulsecon order has. The orders are still listed as "Pending" on the site - not canceled, not declined, just "pending" forever, apparently.
I have no idea what their issue is. I have made subsequent orders on the site using the same card that have gone through without any issue. But if I do not get my Sentinels I am going to be SUPER pissed. I can live without Kang's chair, though the extra faces would have been nice. I can survive without the young animated Vulture. I was able to order the G.I. Joe Astronaut from BBTS eventually. But I need these Sentinels, so I'm going to go ballistic if Pulse tries to pretend that my order can't be processed.
I just ordered two sets of Sentinels with no issues.
I just ordered more... we'll see if the new order goes through this time.
I saw a youtube video saying that Hasbro is geting out of the toy making game, I think that is a terrible idea, please for the love of god, don't let this happen.
The sky isnt falling. The dumb You Tube video links to a dumb article that talks about Hasbro choosing not to make Power Rangers toys anymore and instead licensing the brand out. It then refers to the fact that Hasbro has licensed other companies (Super7) to make toys of their properties like GI Joe and Transformers...
None of this is new and none of this suggests that Hasbro has decided to stop making action figures all together. There is no new information provided just more speculation based on these things weve already discussed here at length.

Did the thumbnail have a bunch of emojis and picture of a middle-aged man making a sad face with a heading that read "Please click me, I'm begging you"?
For what it's worth, I do think that there is certainly some level of truth to Hasbro wanting to get out of manufacturing figures and that they believe it may be more profitable to license out some of their owned properties like they're doing with Power Rangers, for example. The margins just aren't as good on figures as some other things that they do (board games, cards, etc).
We'll likely find out how serious they are about that when the Disney licenses come up for renewal. We should know the outcome of that by this time next year. I think it's much more realistic that they'll move on from Marvel/Star Wars than it is that they completely stop making GI Joe, Transformers and other properties that they own outright. However I could certainly be wrong seeing how they've handled Power Rangers and to a lesser degree ROM and the Micronauts now recently. I think that I remember seeing recently that someone other than Hasbro was going to make M.A.S.K. toys as well and I thought that Hasbro owned that property also.
I for one am hoping that Hasbro keeps and continues those lines for many more years, especially Marvel Legends, but I'm not going to be shocked if they choose to walk away. They may feel that they've ridden those licenses past their peak already, and they certainly wouldn't be the only ones who would tell you that they believe that Marvel and Star Wars are declining in popularity.
Was this an Uncle Tim video 🤣 ?
I really don't care who puts their stamp on the box, for example, as long as the M.A.S.K. vehicle and figure inside the box is cool, who cares if it's from Loyal Subjects. Maybe I'll buy a Jem doll too while I'm at it. It's not like Hasbro is coming up with anything new lately.
If Cocks wants to drop half of Hasbro's money into videogames, so be it. Free up your licenses to toy companies that actually want to make toys.
