They might, but seems like they aren't. No Way Home, Deadpool & Wolverine, and now Cap 4 all skipped that. Marvels, GOTG3, Quantumania, and the last Disney Plus wave had BAFS but last year, and what we know so far this year, they aren't continuing that. I guess we'll see with Thunderbolts since that seems like a likely contender to bring back MCU BAFs if anything does.

Also funny to see how very different marketing is these days when we're six months from a Fantastic Four movie with not even a teaser trailer yet.

Is FF finished filming? And who knows when Marvel actually makes the final decision on what the team's costumes will look like.

But to be fair - Hasbro has been hit hard by trickle down effects of the pandemic and strike and having to pivot over and over again to accommodate tie-in media that isn't as beloved as it once was can't be cheap. The Marvels wave sat in a warehouse for extra months when the movie was delayed, Quantumania was hurt by product being late because the film shifted up (still an absolutely BIZARRE choice), GOTGv3 did solid and was properly supported because that film never moved. Cap gets standalone deluxe releases because again, shifted an entire year! Thunderbolts is a year late and as you said will tell the tale. I hope it's all MCU, because if the movie is good, it could sell like GOTG.

I think we're getting Ultimate Iron Man at this moment because of how much that suit looks like Riri's homemade Ironheart suit in her show. That's likely what I'll use it for, whenever I get around to buying it. It seems very much on the small side and just cover up the red.

Not one of these comic figures is in any way super exciting to me - no attachment to ROM and he is literally the ONLY new one in the bunch. Redo, redo, redo, redo, redo - boring.

I’d assume Iron Man has less to do with any MCU synergy and way more to do with Iron Man armors consistently selling and this being one of the few prominent suits Hasbro hasn’t yet done in the post-ROML era.

It is sort of shocking how few covers display the iconic Skurge and Attuma looks. Avengers #7 is Skurge's iconic look but he isn't central too it. SubMariner #4 has a great John Buscema cover with Attuma but it isn't his iconic look.

Yep.

And these as well:

I was just using covers with the characters featured prominently so I could get my point across quickly and easily without wasting space on Dan's Twitter.

However, Daken's comic is Dark Avengers #1 which doesn't feature him prominently. So in the real world of comics Hasbro could use in future mini comic waves, the character doesn't have to be front and center.

That Namorita cover is shockingly good art for a comic produced with Dade county police Dept.

Dang…

This would be an excellent figure to reuse for Shamrock.   Could do it with virtually all reuse.

Make it happen Hasbro.

But what is up with the cut straight across her neck?

Don't need this outfit, but definitely thinking about a hair transplant with Phoenix.

There's no way Ares from 17 years ago is adequate for team building.  He's my most wanted and expecting him last.  I really liked the BAF years ago, but it had its issues for sure and is not a satisfying option to complete the team next year.

I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing X-Men figures in this initiative and I could be into it.  I remembered X-Men 1 had connecting covers, could be fun to recreate in plastic.  Cyclops and Colossus could be made better, Psyclocke too.  I like the possibilities.

I don’t particularly care about Ares, so I’m more than fine with the one I already have. If they make a new one to complete the set I’ll pick him up, but as it is he’s not one I need.

I’d love to get a new Ares. The BAF looks nice, but it never had very functional articulation. He’s a dynamic short range fighter, so he needs articulation.

I’d buy a couple of new Ares figures since he’s needed for both the Dark Avengers and Mighty Avengers teams.

@schizm the cut line must be for an older release that had the uniform stop on the neck. Maybe this will be the female version of every male character released on the Vulcan buck having sculpted in glove lines whether the sculpt calls for it or not. The no yellow boots makes this Jean one of their more egregiously half-assed releases in some time, but if you want a green and yellow X-Factor Jean you're basically stuck since they're not likely to do another.

Shame on me/us for not noticing but Phoenix has the same neck cut. Didn't notice it in the black. But if it were there to give the option of an exposed neck it's not at the right point!

Just checked Warbird and she has the same cut but in the correct spot up just a little. Phoenix has a new torso that seems to be reused for Jean. But why is Hasbro suddenly leaving open cut lines on brand new figures when that wasn't an issue for the last 20+ years of this line?

@schizm Yeah that's what I'm think too. Didn't like the hair on the Phoneix jean
