Out of what was shown today, I am most excited about Banshee and Jean.  Love the X-Men stuff and I will definitely get those.  But I will probably get that Maximum Spider-Man and Adam Warlock as well.

So, the gimmick with this mini comic Wave/Line is that it's Marvel Legends figures that come with comic books as accessories?  Thats the gimmick, just a mini accessory comic book?  Nothing wrong with that but it also feels unnecessary. Just a figure and the normal accessories is fine.  Why do they feel a mini comic book somehow pushes the normal figure with accessories over the edge?

Like I said, nothing wrong, it just seems lackluster.

@supercamel-1982

I just think of it as a retro card for waves that don't fit one specific theme.  Might have been looking at mimicing McFarlane's Collector Series stuff without the stupid big chunk of plastic to hold the card up

I like it.  Simple, easy, logical, and you get a little mini comic.  Ya sold me.

And they might still do MCU related BAF waves at retail, we will see.

They might, but seems like they aren't. No Way Home, Deadpool & Wolverine, and now Cap 4 all skipped that.

Two of those were cameo heavy and it seems that wanting to avoid spoilers meant they held back having merchandise out when the films opened; for Cap they may have decided that the only 3 figures to make all had to be deluxe so why bother with a wave. So I agree up to a point. I think the fact that a D+ wave with more What If...? and at least a couple characters from Agatha hasn't been announced is interesting.

I think Thunderbolts will be a true test, as they have enough unique characters which are all "superheroes" to make a full BAF wave without any comic fill-ins.

Well, that isn't what I expected when they said mini comics. I was thinking something along the lines of the old comics digest they did back in the golden days. A smaller version of comic that you could actually read, not just an accessory for action figures. I'm still digesting what they revealed. The 2 I'm most excited for are Rom and X-Factor Jean. Kinda bummed that she's a Target exclusive but hopefully she won't be too hard to get. So far, it's been fairly hit and miss with me being able to get the Target exclusives.

Since they asked which characters we'd like to see in future mini comic waves, I sent Dan 8 different covers featuring 9 different characters for future waves to his public Twitter/X page since he's really the easiest accessible Team member.

I'm sure I'll post more.

Post your own most wanted to his Twitter/X!

Also, I know Dwight and Ryan occasionally post on Insta, but are they as accessible as Dan is on Twitter/X on other platforms?

Good stuff shown today.

Definitely in for ROM and Banshee.  Maybe Maximum Spider-Man depending on the price.

Pass on the rest.  I would have picked up Adam Warlock if they had finally made the classic look.

That's the version of Adam Warlock that I wanted, & I'm glad the the gauntlet is OPTIONAL this time, it was annoying, that they made it permanent, last time. lol I just hope that he's golden skinned, this time, and not pink/Caucasian.

I love these fan streams.  I will be pre-ordering everything and probably extras of the new Spiderman and Miles. It's a bummer about Electro. I guess Hasbro couldn't get the Jamie Fox likeness for the head sculpt.

Were you the one that posted Jack of Hearts #1, Red Wolf #3, Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man 36 (Swarm) and U.S.Avengers #1 (Firebird)

Seems like 4 characters you might post, at any rate 😀

Oh... it's definitely you... a few posts later we get Two-Gun Kid #75,  Tomb of Dracula 51, Ms. Marvel 9 (Deathbird) and Defenders 28 (Starhawk)

And then Avengers 114 (Swordsman & Mantis double dip),  Iron Man 226 (Stingray), Spectacular Spider-Man 179 (Vermin) and Gargoyle #1

That's a solid 12 my man.

I guess I'm going to have to ride in there with an Avengers 78 ... or I could go with Black Panther 34 if I don't want the bare legs...    and maybe Tales to Astonish vol 2 #4 (Attuma!)

Said it last year, but once again gotta give Hasbro big ups for the speed with which they’re burning through the Dark Avengers. With Ares, Sentry, Marvel Boy, Iron Patriot, Moonstone and now Daken, we’re really only missing Spider-Man and Bullseye, and the former was already leaked.

Hopefully future teams also benefit from this speed.

Haha! You caught me!

I'm not done yet. The plan was to do another set featuring M'Baku (BP #34 from 2001), Moonstone (Hulk #228) Skurge and Attuma, however, I'm trying to match the exact costume I want with the cover that completely features the character. I can't find covers that match the Skurge and Attuma looks I prefer.

@beamish For Attuma, what about Web of Spider-Man Annual #5? The Atlantis Attacks crossover one. Or possibly the X-Factor cover, for that crossover.

As for Skurge, the Executioner. Handbook vol2 #17 Book of the Dead issue, has a good waist up pic, but no legs. Are those good ideas, for covers? Or is the handbook a cop-out?
