@beamish I’m sure it’s an absolute longshot that classic Dracula makes the final list, but IF HE DOES please please PLEASE use a Gene Colan cover and not just ToD#1 which is Neal Adams and not representative of the actual design of Gene Colan’s Dracula.

I know, I know, probably no one cares but me, but I really REALLY care.

@enforcer I didn't listen to what they said but were they just talking about how he only has two claws coming from his knuckles? I dunno. The Hasbro pics show him with two claws-out hands.

Regarding the Official 2025 Top 10 Vote and todays livestream:

- Please replace any revealed characters on your initial lists, like Banshee.

-If Adam Warlock is on your Top 10 but you want a different costume than the one revealed today, leave him on your list. Maybe specify which costume you'd prefer they make next.

Last year we presented the Hasbro Team with trading cards of the top vote getters.

In the fanstream I think they gave us our answer for what to present them with this year when they told us to let them know who else we'd like in a mini comic book wave.

Comic book covers featuring the corresponding top vote getting characters.

Sound good?

I'd be down with this. Pulling together the cards and making the custom packaging was fun, and I was going to try and do something more advanced this year with custom cards. Pulling together comics with each of the winners on the cover will actually be easier, and match with this new theme they're setting out on. I've probably got half of what we need in my own collection that I will be happy to donate.

Ok, so who are the weights for? She Hulk?

P

Champion of the Universe, maybe? Sporty body building stuff seems like his bag.

Looking at the pictures, ROM and Banshee are obviously the big wins. Be very happy to buy them both.

Still bitterly disappointed by Adam being a straight rehash of the old Red Hulk wave version. Hopefully he’s on a Beetle trajectory, where they pump out version after version before finally getting to the good one. Maybe if the rumoured Magus is a good match for classic parts, I’ll grab this to fix up. But as things stand, I’m voting with my wallet.

The comic gimmick is a bit lame though - it’s a tiny bit of plastic the figure can hold like he’s reading his own adventures? How many people were asking for that in their displays? And of that amount, how many couldn’t just print their own?

Spidey looks cool, but not unmissable. I get there’s an arms race on articulating him ever more, but I honestly have a version that can do everything I want it to, so the import price tag will be enough to put me off. Now a classic Hulk with a bunch of gamma smashy effects and different expressions might get me another story.

Banshee is exactly what I was hoping for. (Blue and gold is front and center in my display but will be swapped out for green ASAP). Jean - I was so distracted by being annoyed about her being an exclusive I didn't notice the boots til I came to this thread. I love the head sculpts though.

I wish Adam Warlock had a non-gritted teeth head. I feel like a neutral expression (a la Banshee!) should be common practice for figures like that. Especially Warlock who isn't always super expressive.

Been hoping for a new Daken for a while. Nice to see him. I'm not a huge Ultimates fan but the Ultimate IM armor is really cool so I dig the upgrade. Curious about the new comics Miles - I've had the lil guy Miles on my shelf forever and as much as I like the Spider-verse and Gamerverse versions, I prefer to have a good comics version of characters when possible.

Rom: Just happy they finally made him.

McFarlane Spidey isn't my favorite but I like the exposed web-shooter hands, and always like a good unmasked sculpt. Curious how he looks in hand.

@ru1977 Right - he comes with 2 hands that have 3 claws, 1 hand with 2 claws, and one hand with no claws.

I wish there was a second hand with 2 claws out.

Speaking of the comics, the ones they flashed at the end were definitely hints, right? Probably not every single one, but here's the list:

Plus the action figure homage covers of Gambit and Rogue.

Exiles is (obviously) the most exciting thing to see in that bunch. Again, probably shouldn't take every single comic as a hint, but some of the next wave of mini-comic figures is probably being teased here.

Stupid work has me way late, so I'll go back and read everyone's comments a bit later.

My very quick thoughts:

Spider-Man was one I didn't think I'd need, but just too many cool options. He def. a purchase.

Rom is excellence! Everything I could hope for. Hell, I might buy a 2nd to keep MOC, and that's something I never do.

Glad to have an updated Daken. Let's get the Dark Avengers done!

Adam Warlock... a good update, and knew it would be this version because we knew he was coming with the gauntlet, but damn, I was wanting classic!

Ultimate Iron Man looks better than expected. By far. Still have no need for him.

Ultimate Miles - Easy pass.

Banshee - About time for this version!

Not a huge X-Factor fan, but it is cool Jean has both cowl and free flowing hair looks.

Don't collect MCU, but Electro does look cool. A lot of work went into him.

I've been excited for Rom since he was announced and he still holds up.  He looks so great and shiny.  Maybe not as tall as he should be, but tallER, and that's good enough for me.

I was very curious about what turned out to be the Maximum Spider-Man, but I'm not fully sold.  As much as I really like the retro Spidey I have now, I was disappointed at the lack of wall-crawling hands.  If I'm able to swap out the retro's head and hands with the more articulated body here, I'd take the plunge.  Plus, who doesn't want a giant sperm blast effect?*

As much as I loved the early X-Factor books and looks (more than the 2nd gen costumes most seem to prefer), they're outside my collecting timeframe.  I was still tempted, though.  She looks amazing, and seeing her and Scott together really hit my nostalgia button.  Like y'all, though, I can't imagine how they forgot to paint her boots.  It doesn't look like a hard fix, though. Especially since it's the same paint you'd have to use to fix Cyclops...and what are we even doing here?

Nothing else is on my wishlist.  Call me when we get a Starlin Adam Warlock.

I guess the good news for me with the Mini Comic wave not being a BAF wave is that I don't have to buy the Ultimate Iron Man or Miles Morales ...   I guess I get why they are in there -  they wanted heavy hitters in the line up,  but doesn't it feel like overkill to have a version of Wolverine, Iron Man and Spider-Man all in there -  each of those is usually enough of an anchor for a wave on it's own.   Using all 3 feels like they must be nervous about it.

Did they say if these are going to be more fan channel exclusives or if they're mass retail? Because if the latter then I get the necessity of including better known characters like Iron Man and Miles since the Targets and Walmarts of the world probably would be wary of an assortment that's Wolverine and then a bunch of comparative deep cuts. It seems to fit the gradual shift we've been seeing of the front facing mainstream retailers getting stuff that's largely MCU or headlined by well known characters and then the stuff populated mostly by lesser known fan favorites being fan channel exclusives.

Anyway, for the most part liked the reveals. An updated Miles is great, but I wish he came with the sword accessory. Daken is another Dark Avenger down, and I appreciate how quickly Hasbro seems to be moving through this team. Iron Man has me hoping we can look forward to more Ultimates, and this is pretty much the only other comic Adam Warlock I was interested in, so I'm glad to have him. Not interested in Banshee, but am thrilled for those who have been wanting him so badly.

Electro was great to see and am glad that team is finally finished after all this time, and the new Spider-Man looks great.

I honestly can't say I'm surprised at the on purpose, lazy, just don't care, "honest mistake" of the Jean boots.

I'm most excited for the Spider-Man.  I'm going to guess $40 for the price point.  Power Rangers did a similar line where they were "ultimate" versions of each character packed with a lot of extras which were mostly hands then a couple of other somewhat neat accessories but still made you question the high price.  Those were $35 a pop, I'm taking on $5 to my guess because of dread license fees.  (Oh, and after they released those "ultimate" PR figures, they canceled the line).

The two masked heads being almost exactly the same is a bummer, but this looks pretty nice overall.

Yep,  as expected not a single thing to scratch off my top 10 list -  we knew Banshee was coming, which is why I didn't bother having him in my Top 10.

NICE stream! I'm DEFINITELY gonna need that Spidey!

I LOVE that he comes with a Peter Parker head! That was my main reason for buying the MAFEX Spider-Man. I've always been a fan of the "secret identity" figures.
