I guess the good news for me with the Mini Comic wave not being a BAF wave is that I don't have to buy the Ultimate Iron Man or Miles Morales ... I guess I get why they are in there - they wanted heavy hitters in the line up, but doesn't it feel like overkill to have a version of Wolverine, Iron Man and Spider-Man all in there - each of those is usually enough of an anchor for a wave on it's own. Using all 3 feels like they must be nervous about it.
I think the new directive is 3 of 6 figures will be an Iron Man, SpiderMan, Capt America or Wolverine going forward. Because they year they openly declared they plane to double their financials, upped production, cut the budget and the line teterred.
I'm sure there's exceptions, but I feel like it's pretty standard for non-BAF waves to have multiple 'household name' characters, while the BAF waves rely on the anchor and build-a-fig to sell/get into stores.
If anything, it's probably more to do with retail than Hasbro wanting to make as much money as possible. With big box stores passing on Strange Tales and other lesser waves, they probably have to stack the waves to get store buyers to notice.
Love the muttonchop Banshee head and the alternate Jean head with all that hair. ROM looks incredible.
That Adam is incredibly disappointing. If they had to go 90s, I'd prefer the Infinity Watch costume. And why just a constipated expression and no normal face? Is that his brooding face?
They were right to get Harding on him! But had him do all the wrong things. Well, back to waiting another 10 years for when they finally decide to do the 70s looks.

Yeah... that's what I was looking through. It only looks like he comes with 2 extra hands. I rewatched the stream and Dwight says "hands" when describing the 2 claws... Hoping they are hiding in the package somewhere.

That's what I'm hoping for: She-Hulk in her FF costume to coincide with an upcoming movie FF wave (not that I'm going to buy any of the movie figures).
x-Factor Jean is great, but the incorrect boots are a bummer.
Rom & Banshee - hell yes! Rom is an absolute beauty.
Adam Warlock & Daken - happy for the upgrades. Hasbro still can't sculpt thigh boots.
Ultimate Iron Man & Spider-Man - they wouldn't have made my short list for redos any time soon, but both figures look pretty phenomenal.
Could MCU Electro's mask be related to difficulties with likeness rights? I don't follow the movie stuff so not sure if this has cropped up elsewhere with J Foxx.
Gotta say, it was pretty bold of them to flash 'tell us what you think in the comments' on the screen when Dwight said 'Is it good that I've been working on the line so long?' hahaha

I'd much rather a Starlin Warlock, but I'm resigned to the fact that any cosmic figures we get will be based on Ron Lim art from the Infinity Gauntlet series, so I got what I expected.
I might grab that Spider-Man even if it has no chance of replacing my classic MAFEX Spidey. I'm glad they're finally going this route for major characters.
Regarding the Official 2025 Top 10 Vote and todays livestream:
- Please replace any revealed characters on your initial lists, like Banshee.
-If Adam Warlock is on your Top 10 but you want a different costume than the one revealed today, leave him on your list. Maybe specify which costume you'd prefer they make next.
Last year we presented the Hasbro Team with trading cards of the top vote getters.
In the fanstream I think they gave us our answer for what to present them with this year when they told us to let them know who else we'd like in a mini comic book wave.

I'm not even well acquainted with ROM outside of the community's campaign for him since I joined these forums back in 2006, but I'll get him all the same because he just looks like a great figure. Good stream today. I'll buy Jean ( my criticisms withstanding) Banshee, Spider-Man (watch this be the new insanely hard to get McFarlane Spidey, we love a legacy) ROM, Daken and Adam Warlock.
