The last 2 Xavier heads we've gotten look more like they belong in G.I. Joe Classified to me.  Now to check every night @ 1am for cancellation prompts.

That purchase was a little too easy...

Bit crazy two drastically different versions of Xavier have been released just a few months apart...

Think I am good on Xavier after this version 😊

I still don't love that they used that Pym jumpsuit body. It's way too tall. I could justify it for Pym, since maybe he didn't shrink back down to his actual height. Maybe I can justify it for Xavier if he's sitting in his hoverchair so it hides his size. But the point of this figure is to have him out of his chair, right? Xavier wearing this outfit can walk.

See, for me,  I still want him in that ridiculous yellow jumpsuit with the black X on it that he wore for I dunno half an issue at the end of the Secret Wars?

@normdapito I tend to think of Chuck as being relatively tall in my head. Though either way, I do want this one to go in the chair. Sort of an action outfit for him. On some level I just gotta live with some weirdness in heights given reuse requirements for a lot of figs. Thankfully the comics are rarely ever consistent in that way anyway. Like, long as Logan is shorter than Cyclops and Cyclops is shorter than Colossus I can fudge the rest. As long as they get in the ballpark I'm fine.

For me it's like height categories. Short, medium, tall, huge, mega huge.

Mine's going right in the hoverchair, his "walking" phase from the animated show in the Savage Land wasn't important enough to me to depict that in a display.  Prefer some of the 90s comics where he was more rough looking given that the X-Men were now split between blue & gold strike teams.

Similar to this custom CustomsbyMatchu made:

Can this new retro "Hank Pym body" Xavier even feet in that chair?

I think he would be too big for that. Maybe someone here have Hank Pym figure to check?

Even if he doesn't fit it seems like a fairly easy solution. Just pop his feet/calves off.

I'm not only talking about height, I'm also talking about proportions. This body is quite large.

To be honest, we need a better bigger Hoverchair anyway...

Yes, just checked and the Pym body works fine...making me change my mind about not picking up this Prof X, and now he's sold out. Sigh.

The pre-order is sold out, but I'm sure he'll be readily available in stores when the time comes.

Not bad. Still hope they can make more animated looking chair.

You would think so, of course - but it may all depend on the store. For example my local Super Target chose to never stock either the retro card Carnage or Warbird exclusives. On the flip side, Walmart just had their own recent exclusive Prof X that they only sold online and didn't stock in stores at all that I know of and had to reduce it to under $6 to try to get rid of it. So, really who knows, right?
