Will Madcap be the next head to get a full body? & if so, will it be the classic costume?

Can someone PLEASE ask them if they planning on fixing the forearm on the Vulcan buck? It's driving me crazy

Oddly enough, they already have the right forearms since Hawkeye, but seem to have forgotten about it!

Sometime tomorrow, SDCC will release their schedule for Friday July 26th.  We need to pay attention because Hasbro usually has their Marvel Legends panel on the Friday afternoon of the convention.

So going by past history, I predict the Hasbro Marvel Legends panel will be Friday, July 26th at 12:30PM - 1:30PM in Room 5AB.

But ya never know.  We'll see.

Two weeks from today, gang.  Mark your calendars.

Same time and place as last year.

Same bat time, same bat channel.

@sdcomics that would be the DC panel.  We are at the same spider time, same spider channel.

I thought the ML panel was typically on Saturday.  Twas when I was going to the show, but it's been at least a half dozen years since I stopped going.  I'd rather they have it earlier in the show, like Friday, as they put some items revealed at the panel in the showcase afterward.  A panel earlier in the show allows for more viewing time of the revealed items.

My gut is telling me we will see full figures or renders of:

Green suit Namorita ("we heard the fans")

Deathbird

Iceman - brand new dedicated sculpt with a little bit of Crystar thrown in

Jackal

Either Skurge or Attuma (leaning towards Attuma)

Jack of Hearts

One Inhuman (leaning towards Triton)

A Serpent that is not Constrictor (leaning towards Death Adder that would be the winner of SDCC)

Wild card like Crystar last year: Bug

I don't know what you've been drinking -  but I wouldn't mind taking a sip.     There is no way the Marvel Legends team I know is giving me that much win in one session.   Just no way.

I might straight up swoon if they revealed all of that....  Deathbird, Attuma, Jack of Hearts, Triton, Death Adder, Bug and real Namorita in one single session?  Impossible.   Unthinkable.

We'll be lucky to see even two of those, unfortunately.

I think there will be a few more reveals to coincide with next years media releases.    Maybe a comic based Mr. Fear figure as he's rumored to make an appearance in Born Again.    Maybe something Thunderbolts related (comic based) as a prelude to the movie -  maybe a Meteorite and Jolt 2-pack and Atlas deluxe figure?    Hmm... nah, not 2 ladies in a pack,  Techno and Jolt?     And then a 3-pack with Meteorite,  Citizen V and Songbird... 2 re-releases to get the new character with tooling requirements?     Probably a Red Hulk re-release -  maybe this time with a mustache?     Joaquin Torres Falcon?

Anyway,  you see where I'm going -  comic based stuff that's MCU adjacent.

In all seriousness, could someone ask the team why they think they’re helping by spreading out pre-orders when all the stuff arrives early or at once and screws our wallets anyway? They’re NOT helping.

Some people may pay for preorders up front, like via Paypal.  And they are trying to spread things out a bit, but controlling manufacturing and shipping across the ocean have a ton of variables which aren't going to allow for things to arrive exactly when expected.  The best you could hope for is everything has a street date and retailers would somehow all have to agree to stick to those streetdates.  It's just not feasible to have all product arrive at exact times.

I would love if we see one of the more visually dynamic members of Serpent Society.  Is there a chance of one in the Cap 4 movie wave?  Certainly the movie figures will eat up the budget for unique sculpts, but maybe we'll get another easy-to-make member like Diamondback.  Based on the trailer, there may not be  a female character from the movie worth turning into figure form, so maybe a comic one can make it into the wave.

I have two omnibus collections of Rom in hand, with a third and final one coming out in November, none of which I thought was possible for many, many years. If they could somehow make the stars align to show off a Rom figure the same year I might freak out.

Here's the thing -  their own damn site doesn't charge until it ships.   So helping out the small handful of folks that pay up front via Paypal isn't particularly magnanimous while still burying the vast majority of your customers in an avalanche of product that all ships out at once.

And sure there are some logistics things to deal with but the truth is - it's likely much cheaper for them to ship all of the product together on a single container ship than space it out,  and cheaper still to send it out directly rather than hold it back in a warehouse.   So they don't care that's it's burdensome to their customer to get hit with a bunch of charges at all at once because it saves them a ton of shipping and storage costs.    Not until we just stop pre-ordering altogether to avoid  the tidal wave.

Of the stuff I want, I'm only realistically hoping for: classic Falcon, Yellowjacket, a new classic Kraven.

Dark horse (literally): a couple years ago Dwight mentioned Valkyrie in some context about characters needing updates. The crazy-cool Odin deluxe figure gives me renewed hope for a Valkyrie + Aragorn set.
