Dragon Man is huge. $125 seems fair. They're stressing avoiding the criteria for HasLab and likely looking at LooseCollector, Mezco, Mafex etc. charging over $100 for figures. Really looking forward to what they migght have in mind after this, could sets and vehicles be in play? People have to support this.
I forgot there's a Fantastic Four movie on the way, hoping for a new Reed, maybe a crazy deluxe. Looks like there might be a good amount of FF stuff in a year.
Well, there will for sure be a MCU wave for FF next year with the movie. Not sure that will be a shared wave though. They may opt for all movie wave. I can see that being the FF and 3 comic figures with no villains made from movie, or I can see them just doing all movie.

Honestly, that wave has terrified me ever since Galactus was announced. A figure of MCU Galactus is something I don't want to have as an option. I even figured out where I can put him if he's haslab size! But I don't want to be able to have it!
I feel like they'll do a figure of at least ONE villain from the FF movie though.
I hope they just do Galactus' head and shoulders, like one of those Barbie hair style dolls. Let me just put his bust on the shelf and pose around that.
Or, really break the bank and let me mount it on the wall like the ToyBiz bases of old, like he's emerging through a void or the sky or something.
I'd be really happy with that actually. I would love to rearrange shelves for such a thing, since having a giant figure among tons of smaller ones makes me feel like non-nerd friends will think I'm a huge fan of that big one when they come over. And I'll always have to explain scale and "no, actually... Spider-Man... that's why I have so many versions of that character." "Yeah, but that one is so much bigger." "No, I know, but... I dunno. Seriously, like... I appreciate this but you gave me that terrible cranberry ale for christmas and now this, so... maybe it's just best if we call it."
Damnit, man, now I'm really set on that mounted bust idea.
That new brown suit Wolvie is in the style of the old Secret Wars figure. With brighter colors and the brown "V" section on his torso tapering really thin at the bottom like the SP figure does.
If you look at the Retro Brown Wolverine where the brown "V" shape ends at is belt, you'll see that it is as wide as his belt buckle, but on the new figure the brown section is only about half that wide where it meets his belt. I'm not a fan of that, but I'll probably still pick up a couple of the new figure because that's my favorite look for Wolverine, and they probably won't make another one for a few years at least. (If ever)
On that note, I really wish they would release a new classic Cyclops (Byrne/Cockrum style). The old one is super dated. Plus I have two of them and the right knee joint is really loose on both of them. Which sucks. Also, it's a really pricey figure on the after-market, so anyone who doesn't already have it is kind of screwed. I personally think it's absolutely the most needed update of any Marvel Legends figure.
So many cool reveals! Dragonman! He’s a must-have!
And Punisher vs Bushwacker! That’s an inspired two-pack!

So they'll give him pinless but skip the updated torso that Astonishing Wolverine got. For now, at least.
I'll wait for the next one.
The chin makes me think it's the same guy who sculpted first appearance Sabretooth that drew so much ire. I don't find Astonishing Wolverine's new torso to be that much of a wow-factor given that you can't put his head back enough to do a fastball special pose. I would have preferred the coloring of the suit they put on Brood Wolverine rather than this more milk chocolatey color of brown. I assume it's meant to go with the neon sentinels give its bright coloring.
Which brings up the question, how and when are we going to get Dragon Man’s daddy, Diablo? It’s be cool if he was included in whatever package they use to offer Dragon Man.
If they did that I can guarantee there'd be at least one loose Dragonman on Ebay.
I'm honestly fine with the brown Wolvie I have. Not paying $25 just for pinless, though I def. prefer it.
Yeah, I was just looking at mine on the shelf and thinking the same thing. I also modded mine with a custom head and metal claws from Can of Beams, so I think I'll be sticking with this one indefinitely.
I dont see Doom getting a figure for FF. I think he will only end up in it briefly as a cameo or something. Maybe post credits tease. His figure will.come with the Avengers movie. Real question is if Surfer gets a figure. Galactus I can see being a BAF or maybe they do this Dragon Man thing with him later. Who knows?
Getting the brown and tan costume on the X-Men 97 body was inevitable. They can get a little more mileage out of this with a more comic looking tiger stripe and a second release of the tan and brown with darker colors. I read somewhere this new reveal deco is supposed to look like the old Secret Wars release - which is cool and I guess means there will be a themed wave for this?
The guys were surprised and delighted by the cards. I was told that Ryan opened his, but Dwight and Dan were going to hold off until dinner. I think they know they're on to something with the 90's trading card style packaging. We shall see what the future brings.
Speaking of the future, the Hasbro panel will be tomorrow later on today. We just got back from seeing Deadpool and Wolverine in Mission Valley with a happy comic con crowd and that was a lot of fun. But right now it's after 2 AM here and I have to try and get a little sleep. Good night!
Big thanks to @h-bird for putting this together. It was a brilliant idea and super well executed.
Another thing that came out of the MCUCollector24 interview with the team was he asked them if there were any more BAF waves this year, and Dwight said yes and that it will feature what he considers to be the "most epic BAF we've done in years" and "it's one of my most favorite things that I've worked on in literally four or five years." It'll be interesting to see what that BAF will be.
