Looks like they've got Ock fully off the ground and supported by three tentacles.  That's somewhat encouraging for the strength of those tentacles.

I was never a big Kang guy, I guess I haven't read enough stories featuring him.  I was open to getting to know him better via the MCU, but then that face-planted.....

I think that both alternate faceplates are taken directly from this image from the comics:

Of course, they kind of used that same scene for a post-credits teaser in the MCU.

I'm thinking about picking up a couple of these sets if I can. Do you think King Thanos could fit in that time chair?

So they made face plates and not alternate heads that I could just pop onto the previous Kang body??? Sigh…..

If they're coming out with the X-Men Arcade Sentinels, maybe we'll more Marvel Legends of video games past. I want to see the villains from the three Hulk video games, movie based and Ultimate Destruction.

I don't have a deep nostalgia for the Capcom game so I can pass on these Sentinels (they're a little too neon) but hopefully they'll be re-released somewhere down the road with more muted colors. The grey and blue from early New Mutants issues would be fun, or just a darker pink and purple.

I'll just keep the candle burning for a 12" Sentinel.

That Kang throne is pretty cool, though. I got the pervious Kang on good discount so I wouldn't be mad too but another one just for the chair. But if someone does wind up with an extra Throne to sell, I'd rather go that route.

That's my reaction as well, more muted and I could live with them as Mark I Sentinels, which is what I really want to see. But I may get a set anyway.

Yeah. I think I'm a pass on the Sentinels despite being tempted. I prefer bright colors and these are a little too pink and I would need a more comic look to justify it. I do like that they would fit on the X-Men and villains shelf proper in a way the MU and Haslab Sentinels don't. I'd want a proper comic version though; maybe a little bigger.

I don't know about all of that, but reissues of Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Dazzler in "video game colors" is an absolute certainty.  That video game is the next nostalgia well to tap into.

The extra face plates are likely so that you can use the second Kang as a variant.  Pretty clever way to make us feel fine about buying a second version of the figure, plus it may sell two of this exclusive to hardcore Kang fans who want all three variants in a display.

If you have Disney+, I’d highly recommend catching the Kang episodes of Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Kang uses this throne in the show. The show does a great job with Kang’s characterization and the depiction of his power level.
