Since SDCC is nearly upon us, hopefully Fwoosh won't crash this year!
I'm seeing Deadpool after work Thursday and Friday and my nephews last baseball games of the year is on Saturday. Gonna make it hard to keep up with SDCC. How dare I have a life?!
I'm traveling on Friday to the in-laws, with a concert and kids birthday parties in between, not returning home until late Sunday night. My SDCC weekend is ruined! Gonna be lots of quick phone checks in store for me.
I know it's silly, but I'm always bummed when my real-life plans interrupt SDCC weekend. It's become a tradition for me to plop down in front of my computer for like 72 straight hours. From preview night through the major panels, it's always a highlight of my year.
@tsi
Next year make it a priority to go in person and stand in lines for 72 straight hours instead! 😁
Agreed with everyone on here. It's one of the few things I look forward to each year and hate when real life plans get in the way.
I always look forward to the upcoming collectibles that will be shown off, whether it figures, statues or comics. Even though I can't go, I enjoy following along through those that can.
The good thing is I'm going to see Deadpool and Wolverine on Saturday, and since I'm on the East coast, maybe there will be some cool news by the time I get home.
What are the bases Deadpool and Logan are standing on? Hasbro is usually so careful about making sure a "NOT INCLUDED" disclaimer is visible at all times from all angles - I wonder if these are a tease?
And that's it for tonight. Bear in mind that this is only Preview Night. The insanity hasn't started yet. This is going to be a huge weekend for news. The Marvel Legends panel will be Friday and that's when we'll see some new reveals. I'm off to bed for a few fitful hours of sleep and I'll be back at it tomorrow. Good night!
I was kinda ehh on Phoenix but seeing it set up in a nice pose with good lighting makes all the difference, looks like a sideshow statue. Even more excited now.
