Mandarin is squarely in the ‘about damn time’ category. I’d happily take long robes or FA (on the Wong or Dormammu bodies). I’d slightly grumpily buy samurai armour. Business suit Mandarin is a pass. A couple of effect hands for different ring powers would be cool.
The rest of the wave I can pass on - hope it’s not a cool BAF (I will be disappointed).
Displaying Model Behavior reports hearing a few leaks:
Crossbones, which has been on previous leak lists, "coming soon?"
A wave consisting of:
Mandarin
Punisher - classic
US Agent
Iron Man
Outside of Mandarin this list is about as boring a nothing burger as we've seen in a while. Classic Punisher, US Agent and Iron Man? What is this the 1990 wave of Toy Biz Marvel Super Heroes?
Yep. Outside of Mandarin, it feels like another "we need a wave STAT to cover for an MCU wave delay so what's in the vault we can throw together?"
I wouldn't *hate* a classic US Agent on a better, more articulated body. But it certainly wouldn't be at the top of my list. What are the odds he's in his Force Works getup, or a modern Ultimate Cap-ish look?
Yeah - if they could do a version of Agent that we haven't already had I could maybe live with that a little better.
That Force Works design wasn't gorgeous, but at least it wasn't the same. Maybe roll with that theme, since there's a Mandarin in there, toss in a Century as well. Heck lean all the way in on a Force Works vibe and throw in Moonraker (OK, I probably lost the plot a little there)
I've never been a U.S. Agent fan so take this with a grain of salt, but it's truly wild to me that they'd release a character whose last figure is 30% off on Amazon right now.
@rob-w I prob would not buy Samurai armor version. I would early 60's appearance version or long robe version (though I doubt Hasbro could pull this off). If its animated or Samurai armor I will just stick with my custom I made from some Articulated Icon pieces and a fodder DCUC cape.
Wait - who said the latest Spidey Retro wave didn't sell? They hit clearance at Target because Target clearances everything too fast (to make room for empty shelves 🙄 ) but they all moved pretty well - even Last Stand and Spider-Shot. Tombstone may have been the overall slowest.
Now the Chasm/Elektra/Miles wave, that seems to have fared a little worse.
Last time I was at my Ollie's, they were loaded with them. I saw them all but Chasm and Ben Reilly Spider Man(I think).

I never actually read Force Works so I'm not surprised I don't know who Moonraker is! I do know (and want) Century though.
I did not realize until now (looking at Moonraker's fandom page) that Abnett and Lanning wrote the original Force Works. That might have just made it onto my list.

Wish my Ollie's would get those! All they've had for over a year is MCU Eternals & Wakanda Forever figures.
Yeah, if you were going to tell me that boring US Agent, Punisher and Iron Man were the cost of admission for that Mandarin, Baron Mordo, Calypso and Nebula - that I would be OK with.

Eh. All kinds of figures/characters get marked down. Not hard to imagine they'd make another USAgent. He is going to be in the Thunderbolts movie next year, so Hasbro squeezing out another comic figure of him isn't too far fetched.
Iron Man could be the Neo-Classic armor with slimmer boots and with gold instead of yellow. Which is a large want of mine.
Mandarin would be interesting, as I'm not sure which look they'd go for. I suppose I prefer his armored Acts of Vengeance costume. I think his robed looks just won't translate to exciting action figures. His 4" figure from the Iron Man line wasn't bad.
Classic white boots and gloves Punisher using the new body from the 2pk is a no-brainer.
