Pretty much how I display my Spidey surrounded by his classic villains closing in. To the side is Peter with the half Peter / half Spider sense head surrounded by JJJ, MJ and Gwen Stacy yelling at him. Aunt May too once I fix the Benty head onto the Aunt May animated body.

Guess we all had the same idea, haha. My shelf is the same- a lone Spider-Man surrounded by all his enemies closing in. Gonna need a bigger shelf soon, methinks.

@schizm Pretty much, only I always have Spidey with his back to me, crouched down, poised to strike if needed. Works best with a Spidey figure that has the Spider logo on his back.

@derrabbi, @akajomiha - As noted, not the most original idea! Spidey is like Batman in that his enemies help make the character and are pretty memorable, so the same look works for Bats as well.

In the ToyBiz days, as we waited for teams to be fleshed out slowly, so many displays were only partial, so it was the most complete looking early on which is why I remember it. I've probably talked myself into unboxing the ToyBiz Spidey stuff and going with that as a way to represent the ToyBiz era.

The Toy Biz Spider-Man villains (most of which came from Spider-Man Classics) were some of their most impressive offerings! I still have Sandman, Rhino, Vulture, Man-Wolf, and Jack O'Lantern. The latter two because they haven't been updated (the Jack they just made is a different character!) and the first three because they're just great in their own right.

A new Vulture seems like an obvious retro carded figure (as do so many others). I'm somewhat nervous about retro line continuing as the last wave didn't appear to sell, and whoever was driving that train will probably never accept poor character choices were the problem. A mainline Spidey line should be the easiest sale in the world.

I do believe it was our own Ibentmymanthing who did that.     He may be findable on Ebay - he periodically sells casts there.    Sometimes he'll return to a mold if he gets enough requests for it.

Wait - who said the latest Spidey Retro wave didn't sell? They hit clearance at Target because Target clearances everything too fast (to make room for empty shelves 🙄 ) but they all moved pretty well - even Last Stand and Spider-Shot. Tombstone may have been the overall slowest.

Now the Chasm/Elektra/Miles wave, that seems to have fared a little worse.

If Mandarin real is coming, I hope it's the 90s animated version, it's so much easier for Hasbro to make than the robed version, unless they use cloth goods. As for Punisher, if it's not the classic version, I hope it's the trench coat version from the epic heroes wave.

If it's not this Mandarin then I'm grabbing my pitchfork and torch and heading straight to Hasbro HQ.

I like the armored look, but I want the classic green robed version as well.

I guess as long as the Mandarin isn't green skinned, I'll be happy to finally add him to the collection.

A version of this Mandarin is doable with the Hand body and new hands, head and a cape. Feel free to leave off the M belt.

Awesome to get mandarin in a rumored list. It seems these lists get a high rate of becoming true.

I've wondered how they'll make The Mandarin. They have a few bodies to use at their disposal and with the new comic Wong, I thought they added another to those available choices.

I'll take what you wanna give Hasbro. This has gone as criminal as your disrespect of the Inhumans.
