I caused a lot of confusion with posting the new 2025 possible leaks on this thread, then creating a new thread. So, to try and get this back on track, here's what was left over from the 2024 leaks:
Secret Wars wave
Crossbones & Constrictor 2-pack
Dan's favorite Wolverine
Dwight's Most Epic BAF wave
Venom & Carnage set
Â
MCU
Brave New World Deluxe Figure #1
Brave New World Deluxe Figure #2
Brave New World Deluxe Figure #3
Brave New World wave
Thunderbolts wave
The Leader
Red Hulk - deluxe figure (possibly the comic re-release)
Beyond the Spider-Verse wave
Â
And I would be grumpy if they announced a wave that was Vulture (again) and Hobgoblin (again) and Kraven (again) or whatever.  Different strokes.
Â
But what if they are really good? All new sculpt, no pins, etc?
That last Vulture we got was...ass. Just a reuse of old pizza mold. This character deserves better than that. Hobgoblin figure we got in a retro wave was also bad. And good luck finding old figure from Space Venom set...We didn't really have a good Classic Romita Hobgoblin anyway.
I'm all for new characters, but if the old ones look like garbage now, what's the point.
Â
I haven't been keeping up with "newer" comics for the last 10-14 years. Do you all reckon the Constrictor will be a redo of the previous classic look or is there a modern version I'm unaware of? I imagine the Crossbones will be the vested/pants version.Â

Â
As far as I know Constrictor only has the one look - so I assume this will just be an upgrade on a modern body - which is good because the first Constrictor really was pretty shabby. Â
Â
As for Crossbones - I like the last figure the released (Venompool wave?) and think it still holds up pretty well.  But if they are doing him again then my guess is they'll redo the version they did way back when with the tactical vest and green pants. to gives us something a little different.
Â
Bug Eyes--Unfamiliar, looked it up, cool enough, I'd buy it
Spider-Boy--Unfamiliar, looked it up, works for me
Arachnoman--Familiar but forgot what it looked like, Wacky color scheme, I'd buy it
Princess Python--Would buy
Slyde--Low tier villain, cool, would buy
Hypno-Hustler--This is what I'm here for.
Â
Â
Now please stick a frickin comic-accurate Spot into one of these waves before I lose my damn mind.
@akajomiha He lost his arms and had the whole thing replaced with the same material as his coils during The Initiative era so not a huge difference..I'd still rather have the normal look
Â
Crossbones I'm expecting and welcome the Epting look. Hope we get a Sin at some point
Really hope that Hypno Hustler rumor is true, classic would be great (and probably more in line with how many new parts Hasbro would make for him) but that modern version would really pop on the shelf too

Â
Gotta believe they are setting us up for a low tool Amazon 5-pack with a Spider-Man vs
Â
Spot - no new tooling required at all, paint only
Will O' the Wisp - no new tooling.  Vulcan Body w/ Sentry head with wind blown hair
Sin Eater - no new tooling.  Basic body, green mask, belt, buccaneer boots, gun - done
Looter -Â no new tooling
Lightmaster -Â Â Minimal tooling requirements - maybe a new head for the classic Marvel Universe look
Â
Â
That would be my classic low effort box set -Â maybe with a very John Romita Spider-Man head design.
Â
If there was more tooling on the table characters like Gibbon or the Answer might stand a chance.  But with a set like this, low investment is the name of the game and I think they could put any 4 of the 5 I listed in with a Spider-Man and sell it pretty easy.
Â
Â
Â
@h-bird I mean would her snake need to be anything other than a 10" bendy toy really? Include the bendy down into the mouth so it opens and closes.
@panthercult I mean I tend to agree with that fact but I also think Hasbro hasn't done a good enough Vulture or Kraven to displace my Toybiz ones either despite having SOME positive elements to the ones they made.

Man, I couldn't buy that shitty Vulture they put out. Hasbro did him dirty so I still display my Toybiz one, even though he kinda doesn't fit in anymore.
Â
@tfitz I'm the same though the head sculpt is good on the new Vulture. I do the same with Kraven. The TB one has so much more personality and the "right" color scheme and isn't underpainted like all the newer classic ones despite a few articulation flaws and awkwardness (which the vest mostly hides anyway) I was tempted to use the new Vulture as the younger helmeted version but they gave him Toomes' head! I meant to find a replacement and never got around to it. Not sure I can spare the space for Vulture #2 anyway.

Â
I'd happily buy that box set and enjoy all the characters you mentioned, but these two in particular would be fantastic. Sin Eater has entered my top 10 most wanted this year.
Â
The Spidey rogues that ToyBiz produced in the Spidey Classics line and later Legends were generally very good - at the time mostly great really. One of my favorite "shelves" was having all of them surrounding a lone Spidey...I took that down and boxed them up as Hasbro started to replace the fgures.
As I am thinking about downsizing, I have contemplated keeping all the Spidey rogues as representing the ToyBiz era and re-creating that shelf as my Spidey display.
At this point, they already have to release Sinister Six again. Maybe as a six pack...or 5 pack with three members (Electro, Mysterio, Vulture) and two other characters (Spider-Man battle damage and...Spot, I don't know).
Retro Electro and Mysterio are hard to find and cost a lot of money. So new collectors would be happy.
Put Doc Ock in the white suite on a retro card.Â
Vulture and Kraven has to be new. New sculpted bodies. Kraven can use parts from the new Punisher figure (new boots and arms).
SandMan - New comic Luke Cage with a new head and arm attachments.Â
Hobgoblin - classic Romita version on a retro card. Jack O'Lantern reuse with a new torso, cape and head.
