I hope it's another "Retro Spider-Man" wave without BAF. It's just horrible. One of the worst waves of Legends I've ever seen. They all gonna end up at Ollie's. Again...Sure, Hypno-Hustler, but the rest? Christ. Previous wave had Tombstone, Jack O'Lantern, Hallows Eve. This one...fucking Arachnoman? Slyde? Bug-Eyes what?
I'll take Uncle Ben and his killer over everyone in that wave. So bad. Who come up with this? Jesse Falcon?
Arachnoman and the Bug-Eyes Armor are new to me. The rest of that hypothetical Spidey wave looks absolutely stellar! 4 brand new characters in Hypno Hustler (YES), Slyde, Princess Python, and Spider-Boy. Agreed that Princess Python needs her snake, but it's usually depicted as pretty freakin' big - I know it's been a while since we've gotten a Spidey BAF wave (was Armadillo the last one?) but could that be the BAF? Seems like a tough sell to split this thing across 6 figures.
I'd definitely pick up the new Spidey variants in the ATSV wave (India, Spectacular, and Unlimited). And I'll buy any Nightcrawler and Beast they make at this point because I'm weak.

I don't really care. I only post when I really like something or when it's totally fucked. Like this rumored wave. Half of it may not be even true and I hope so, because this wave is ass. No wonder some stores don't want to sell Legends anymore. Fan Channel this, Fan Channel that. They could have released something really worthwhile that would sell rather than end up at Ollie's or in a landfill.
I don't know...new better Vulture? New Hobgoblin, new anything. There's nothing worthwhile in this wave. Just a bunch of crappy characters and ugly Spider-Man costumes. Most of the figures will be a cheap reuse. If you like this...fine, nobody here is discouraging you from buying. I'd rather see them redirect the budget to something more worthwhile.

That... really didn't seem to be what he was saying though. You feel one way, and he feels the opposite, and noticed that is common. Maybe I misread, but he didn't seem to really express an opinion on you or your feelings, certainly nothing along the lines of 'the world is over'.
It's what Ru1977 said - exactly. Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed that we (aleks and I) have expressed opposite opinions in multiple threads about a variety of things. That isn't a criticism of Aleks in any way. Everyone is allowed to prefer what they prefer. It is an observation that our preferences seem to be almost diametrically opposed, which I find interesting.

But, I swear, every time you leave some negative comment about ML on Reddit (is the worst), Twitter, even here sometimes, you immediately get a reply like "Well, Fuck You Then".

Still think they need to stop wasting budget on stuff like this. Release it in one box set for Amazon...I don't know.

I get that. I'm excited to buy this wave (if it's even true) and will happily pre-order it at full price.
And I would be grumpy if they announced a wave that was Vulture (again) and Hobgoblin (again) and Kraven (again) or whatever. Different strokes.
I prefer figures of new characters I don't have and this wave is SIX of those which is virtually unheard of these days. So I'm going to cross my fingers that it's even close to accurate. But, I'm going to prepare to learn that it was misinterpretation or wishful thinking because a wave of all new characters without a single repeat is too good to happen. 😉
