Wait.  Was Odin officially revealed?  Did I forget about seeing him?

Not officially. I jumped the gun on that one.

Fixed.

My only guess is that perhaps Ryan thought it would yield more revenue to reduce the pack to 3 figures to keep the price well under a hundred bucks.

Dan and Dwight were on the Toymigos podcast tonight to talk about the Cabal 3-pack. They talked about the Dark Avengers a bit and Dan alluded to them possibly finishing the rest of the team since there are fans in the Legends production team. One of the hosts specifically brought up a new Daken as a character that needs a redo, and Dwight said if they were to do Ares it’d be on a newer body since they’ve retired the previous one. I’m hoping they really do go for it since we’re a decent way into the lineup now with Iron Patriot, Sentry and Marvel Boy.

Was it their podcast or their Youtube channel?  I'm asking because I rarely have time to sit and listen to Youtube videos, but I can listen to longer podcasts while doing chores, driving around, etc.  All I could find was them on this video:

@hbhfback thanks for sharing that tidbit! Would love for them to finish Norman's Dark Avengers.

Ms Marvel/Moonstone - most needed by a mile. It's been said a million times, but do it with an alt Carol Danvers head and watch it sell out like a Target exclusive Carol Danvers.

Daken - old figure is dated - would love a new release in the same costume, with swappable masked and unmasked heads.

Ares - would like an update. I have the ooold Red Hulk wave figure, but never picked up the slight update from the Gladiator Hulk wave. Would like to see him redone.

Hawkeye & Venom - I'm good with existing releases, but a buffer symbiote Spidey (w/Venom'd out head maybe?) and a modern Hawkeye on the Skycycle body seem like obvious releases.

Marvel Boy/Noh-Varr - unlikely to get made in this costume, and the one I'm most ok with. He left the team pretty quickly any way, and the figure we just got makes a decent stand-in, even in the wrong costume.

Yeah, when I think of the team, I actually always forget about Noh-Varr entirely, despite him being a part of the public reveal in the beginning.

I think I've said it before, but Dark Avengers is what got me reading comics again after several years. I didn't stick with it after Siege ended, and I totally missed out on Thunderbolts until I went back later and caught up, but the concept of Dark Avengers was just way too intriguing to pass up. That I enjoyed the series and its plot/characters so much, as well as the conclusion, was just wonderful.

@enigmaticclarity Didn't miss much. They asked for a new Daken and Ares. Dwight teased another cloth cape this year. Dwight led with a wild take that Apocalypse was better than Darkseid. I mean I get he works on the Marvel brand but that's a take.

Did he mean Apocalypse could beat Darkseid in a fight, or that Apocalypse has a better character design?

Darkseid is from Apokalypse, and Apocalypse is from the Dark Side. 😉

I'm not a huge DC fan, but I feel like Apocalypse has had more of an impact and more definitive stories than Darkseid.   Honestly, I think both characters are rather one-note personality-wise.

I stopped reading comics probably at least a decade ago.  I realize modern writers have probably developed characters more as the audience has matured/aged.

What would be a good base body for a new Ares?  Hercules?
