I doubt the Thunderbolts wave comes this year. Isn't Beyond the Spiderverse not this year also? Doubt we see that wave either. Leader is probably a Cap 4 figure. 

Right, Thunderbolts is coming next summer so if they put out the figures this year, it'll be another Black Widow situation.

They rarely revisit the original Guardians when it's not a movie year, so their absence isn't that shocking. I do however hope that the two animals we've gotten as BAFs now is pointing towards finally getting a Lockjaw Build-a-Figure. Seriously, people have been requesting him for years!

I find it disturbing that in all those rumors and leaks there is no sign of a proper X-Men, regular nor Retro. 

Should we be worried?

Yes. Terrified.

At the very least there would probably be the annual X-Men BAF wave, just available on Pulse/Amazon, not big box stores. During the livestream the team was talking about Shanna and Dan said "or other Savage Land..." then kinda trailed off.

What if there is the annual X-Men BAF wave and there is a Savage Land Mutate and Savage Land Storm? That would be AMAZING!

Every year there are some big announcements that didn’t get leaked anyway.

@beamish First, nice to be back.

Second, while the Phoenix I'm sure will be nice, especially as a deluxe, I am more interested in the idea of a Tales Of Suspense themed wave.   Granted that could mean anything, up to and most likely repaints, but maybe we'll get a few oddball characters from that era.

I'm guessing this'll be Rachel but as long as we get a nice looking Phoenix effect or flame effects I'm all in!

The rumored Cabal 4-pack is now possibly a 5-pack! Iron Patriot seems a lock - I wouldn't mind an improved classic Taskmaster or Hood. I hope the rest are new characters, regardless of how on theme they are.

@h-bird I always figured Shanna was off the table but Ka-Zar and Zabu are magnificent, so I'm really hoping they complete the trio soon.
