10:00 am PT
Hasbro / Action Figures
Beautiful mutants I can hear in the distance. I think they're callin' our name. Maybe you can't hear them, but you will if you'll take hold of my hand... and sign up for a reminder.

Destiny is calling.

Hmmm.

Destiny is callingTyranny is fallingYou can't win this gameThere's no way outYour destiny is callingTyranny is fallingYou're the one to blameLife will never be the same

I'm going to say Banshee and Siryn.  Banshee will be 100% reuse but in his green and yellow look.  Siryn will be almost 100% reuse but with the screaming head they held back on the first time.

Banshee had better not be 100% re-use. The keyed-in leg and wrist straps, and raised gloves are completely wrong for his classic look.

I forgot about that.  He'll be a reuse of the basic Vulcan buck, not necessarily the UXM 275 figure.

The tease is lyrics from Jimi Hendrix' "Are You Experienced", so a Jimi and Janis Joplin two pack is coming.

But really probably Banshee and Siryn. The X-Men '97 wave is supposed to be going up soon but I don't know how that tease would tie into it.

The spelling of callin' is interesting.

A lot of dialects traditionally or rather stereotypically do not pronounce or 'drop' the final 'g' in a word, which could indicate Scottish Wolfsbane, Irish father & daughter Banshee and Siryn and our Mississippi darlin' Rogue.

I'm hoping it's Destiny. Wolfsbane and/or Feral.

First off they are all long overdue, and second it would certainly alter the Top 10 voting.

Maybe it's Mystique and Destiny and Mystique comes with a howling head for Siryn as an accessory.

The hand clue could even be a hint at another accessory like Wolvies hand or Rogue hand holding a glove or something.

I think you've cracked it.

Jimi's from Seattle which is famous for its rain.

Which is pronounced the same as Rahne. It's Wolfsbane for sure.

The tease is lyrics from Jimi Hendrix' "Are You Experienced"

If you can just get your mind togetherThen come on across to meWe'll hold hands an' then we'll watch the sun rise from the bottom of the seaBut first
Are you experienced?Have you ever been experienced?Well, I have
I know, I knowYou'll probably scream n' cryThat your little world won't let you goBut who in your measly little world are trying to prove thatYou're made out of gold and -a can't be sold
So-er, are you experienced?Have you ever been experienced?Well, I have
Ah, let me prove it to youTrumpets and violins, I can hear in the distanceI think they're calling our namesMaybe now you can't hear them, but you willIf you just take hold of my handAh! But are you experienced?Have you ever been experienced? Not necessarily stoned, but beautiful...

One song I can never help but sing along to when it plays is Have You Ever Been (To Electric Ladyland).

It'd be odd for Hasbro to drop a pre-order without revealing the product first, no?

I'm thinking X-Men '97.

I read somewhere that the release date for X-Men '97 is not supposed to be too far after the pre-order, so I would guess maybe April for these?

I mean do we know that the new Angel wings couldn't be tooled onto a new horse sculpt for a Brunhilde and Aragorn deluxe Rider set?
