Please give me butterfly joints on Iron Man. I'm tired of living life this way.Β

Guessing the Captain America and Thunderbolts waves are also getting pushed back as well.

I really hope we get *some* MCU waves! High Evo, Gamora are great anchors, Carol has a new costume that could be done, regular-sized Cassie, NWH Electro and Lizard need homes, new Lokis (I'm sure that Temporal Suit is a future BAF - face inside TBD!) - don't leave my wallet hanging, Hasbro!!

Or give Deadpool two movie waves and slip a lot of Fox figures in there.

The problem is that this is very late notice if they want to have stuff out for next year. They might be able to do some figures they made and hadn't gotten around to releasing, maybe some repaints of existing figures - fix the costume of USAgent from Falcon and Winter Soldier, maybe release Destroyer as a movie version, stuff like that.Β

I know I was dreaming. Repaints and minor improvements are far more likely, but hopefully Hasbro had some sense as soon as the strikes hit and got to work on filler/make-up waves.

I can't see this having a positive impact on future MCU waves. I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro was more cautious with future release dates. Not quite to the extent of the No Way Home wave, but definitely pushing them further out.

On the plus side for MCU collectors, this could be a good opportunity to start filling major holes.

@tsi That's what I'm hoping for! I've been aching to get some holes filled for years now!

I would love to believe they will do unmade characters, but unless they're easy ones I cannot see it happening. Probably just repaints and such if they do anything at all. Though I would love say a Kaecilius or something. He would be easy to do cause they just would have to repaint the OG Mordo figure and do a new head. But I just see next year being light on MCU figures. Would be cool to at least get 2 D+ waves next year. I guess the Cap 4 wave could still come next year around November since movie is now in Feb

I love the sculpt for Lilandra. The new head is absolutely gorgeous and I love how this pretty much confirms Outback Psylocke is coming very soon. I guess maybe the "1rst appearance" Psylocke in the rumor list is indeed this version of her and not the pink puffy costume.Β

As a retailer, who has often seen these upcoming annual lists from distributors far before that information is public knowledge, I'm a little suspicious about the details provided. Full qualifier: I don't have any inside information about 2024 yet (and I wouldn't share it if I did). That said, I have pretty high confidence in the characters listed, but I suspect the details about the particular versions of those characters are speculation, possibly by way of an accidental game of telephone in the chain of leakers. Anytime I've seen similar lists, they have had information about which characters are featured, but never any information about which versions. While I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to throw us a curve-ball like including random civilian Wolverine with Lilandra, or releasing "first appearance" Psylocke over the much, much more heavily requested Outback look, I definitely wouldn't count on those details being accurate. It definitely feels like these would make a whole lot more sense (which, I concede, doesn't mean much):

  • Brown-costume Wolverine updated on the X-Men 97 body / Outback Psylocke
  • Fang-costume Wolverine / Lilandra
  • either civilian Wolverine / updated Jim Lee Sabretooth on TAS-style huge body -OR- Team X versions of both

A Team X two-pack also gives the opportunity for a single-packed repainted Maverick to match them, so they can finally get more use out of that body. There are normally ten sets for anniversaries, with several of them being single-packed, so a new version of Maverick feels likely for Wolverine's anniversary. If there are single-packed Wolverine anniversary figures, I'm hoping for a S.H.I.V.A., personally.

I hope your feeling is right. I love when they try and make some sense out of multi-packs and these all would look amazing together.Β

Anyway, anxious to see another Betsy.Β

How about any follow up to a Spiderverse wave? Can we expect any Spider-man India / New Peter etc. still?
