Hrm. Not sure why the Iron Man link is like that but I don't think anyone wants to buy these anyway.

I'm pondering getting the Iron Man because really my main ask (for ANY IM figure) is a good paint job, and this one looks to be the best of the three Mark 85s they've done.  Why can't they do it right the first time?  I think we all know why.  I was actually looking at Mafex Mark 85s recently and was scared off by the price.  This one might be a good second place.  But yeah, it has to be lower than $25.

Yeah that seems like the kind of reason for getting it. I'm definitely back to trying to hold out for end of the year sales on more of these figures. The Saga Cap is one im waiting on.

I saw some MCU reissue figures at Target but they were in black boxes.  I think they're Infinity ones.  Thor, Cap, Spider-Man, and War Machine.  Spider-Man looked to have really plain pain apps which make it look cheap.  I didn't have my phone on me, so I couldn't take pics.

No pics needed.  We all know Hasbro doesn't have the money to paint the Spider Man webs anymore.

I saw the latest releases at Target recently too.  Winter Soldier Cap was tempting, but being that I'm trying to slim down my MCU stuff and I'm almost completely sure that "worthy" Cap is going to be my MCU Cap representation, I had to pass.

Thank you though, but yeah that's the Best Of, or Infinity Saga wave that I don't know if anyone is super excited for. I'm sure many of us are getting one or two from the wave, but none of us were hankering for any of these figures.

I kinda want that Cap but also hoping they'll announce a First Avenger or Smithsonian Cap sometime before I actually pull the trigger. I'm only getting one more Cap, forever! so I'd prefer it be the traditional suit. The Stealth Suit is pretty cool though.

I may pick up Widow, Cap, and Mark 2 at some point, but only when prices drop to like 15 bucks on Amazon.

Meantime, I went down a Transformers rabbit hole and I am looking at those right now. Good time to since MCU content is slow. Keeping my eyes out for a few of those when I go to Target and such

@e-rock Nice. Way to keep that collecting ball in the air.

For my slimmed-down MCU collection I'm thinking Endgame looks for the Big Three.  Yes, fat Thor is far from the traditional look, but I just love that braided beard and I feel that look represents the growth Thor went through throughout the Infinity Saga.

However, if they do updated figures for the first Avengers movie, I'd be all in on those.  It would require them to do all new sculpts for all 6 of them, though, and that seems like a long shot at this point in time.

I am allowing for one cheat with Cap.....I'm keeping his WWII figure from the two pack with him and Sharon.  It's so well done and it stands apart from the modern looks of the rest of the Avengers.  I love the helmet, the pointy shield, and the little bit of the blue spandex Cap suit that's peeking out from the military uniform.  Man, I want to go dig that figure out just thinking about it.

That WW2 Cap would be great if I was still doing one masked/one unmasked of everyone, for sure. If I were to limit to only one of everyone (I'm limiting to one of everyone unless they're a title character, heh), Endgame Cap would be it for me.

Actually, damnit... I really liked his AOU costume too. My ultimate version of him would be the Endgame suit but with the white on the biceps like in AOU. The braided beard and white eyes on Thor are awesome.

Indeed. I have been tempted to start getting Transformers for years. One of the properties I grew up on. Right now trying to keep my eyes out for Breakdown or Beachcomber, but I think those ones are long gone in stores. But I thought the same about Shrapnel, but found him at a Target like 2 weeks ago

I got the Masterpiece Grimlock something like a decade ago, then I grabbed an Optimus as an impulse buy at Target a few years ago, and finally got a Bumblebee last year. Eventually I may get a Hot Rod and Arcee heh. it would be so easy to go all in, at least on the original Autobots and Decepticons, I mean the very first releases. But I actually have two other way-more-expensive-than-collecting-figures hobbies where my fun money goes.
