You joke but for the most part, it's a great group on here. It was definitely a bummer when I finally accepted it wasn't coming back. Checking yesterday was such a whim.

I think  https://www.reddit.com/r/TheFwoosh/ should at least be one of the emergency places. No one posted there during the outage though, aside from the one thread on r/actionfigures.

@ru1977 Checking comment sections/message boards at other platforms during the last three weeks really drove home how good the mix is here. Rational, knowledgeable, likable, funny...the Fwoosh really is an oasis in the hateful and ignorant internet desert.

@renfield75 Ah man, you are not in any way whistling dixie about comments sections. I definitely have been spoiled here. 'Oasis' is the exact right word.

I was a little worried we'd lose more Fwooshers, like we did with the original crash. Glad to see you diehards really are diehards. Otherwise I'd be here replying to myself.

Not to be a big downer, but what other sites are good chat sites in case Fwoosh, um... you know...

I was formulating a plan to launch my own forum had the site not come back up. If it ever does go down for good, that's my plan. I hope it remains a "break in case of emergency" idea, though.

@beamish @fingfangfoom Reddit was the best I could do. Don't mind dipping in there again as most the other social media toy spaces are shit shows. At least it isn't a full on shit show. I replied in the Fwoosh reddit channel on the last outage thread. The Discord just loads a page of "no text channels" for me

I just listened more intently to the voices in my head.

I was doing Reddit and TFW/Toyark forums while thefwoosh was down, but nothing beats the camaraderie of these forums. I don't even post that much, but I'm glad it's back. I really feel like there's a sense of community here.

This came up in the MCU thread, but on the leaked lists and rumors and such, is a D+ wave listed at all? Not including X-Men 97.

During the shutdown I got some Transformers lol! Nemesis Bridge set came in. I have to open it 

@e-rock that's funny, I was looking at transformers too. And Joes. The lull in MCU figures is getting me to consider venturing elsewhere.

I will provide whatever support I can to you should we end up in that place.   I need a place to engage in conversation about this stuff and Facebook/X/reddit are just not my jam for that.

Thing is about Reddit is we can moderate it and control it anyway we want if its our channel

If anyone here launched a new forum in case of the Fwoosh going down for good (Heaven forbid!) I'd happily join up, but how would we know?
