Super disappointed that this beautiful classic Iron Fist is paired with another release of modern Luke Cage. Really wish they would have done Classic Luke in his blue pants - maybe with a tweak on the wonky shoulder/sleeve set up - instead for this like we all thought was hapening. The new Iron Fist looks good and I'll be happy to have him, this is just not my favorite look for Cage and I didn't need another figure in this outfit.
The Ketch Ghost Rider is not surprising - we knew they had it planned. It turned out well, so happy to see it.
The Wolverine had already been leaked, but still nice to see the official shots. Superior Spider-Man looks nice and well rendered.
An upgraded Warbird isn't bad. I think the last time we got her was in that Target 3-pack with Radioactive Man, so interesting that she's a Target exclusive again.
But the new Skaar may be the best of the reveals simply because the old Skaar figure is one of the worst Marvel Legends I have. It's so poorly designed and constructed - so it will be nice to replace that junky figure with something modern and functional.
I will say though - I am disappointed in that not a single one of today's reveals was a character new to the Legends collection. I always hope that at least one reveal will be something we haven't had as Legends figure yet - so even though some of the figures are upgrades and will be welcome, nothing truly new for the display.
Hey, did someone at some point say Valkyrie with Aragorn were rumoured or on a leaked list for 2024? Or am I just wishing that into being?
THAT would be release of the year, for me.
Warbird and Iron Fist are the only two I want (though Cage does look great) but I would've been far more enthused with new, never-done characters and not just upgrades. Oh well, maybe that's to come with the later reveals.
Agreed - no problems with the how the figures are executed, but when you announce a new range of figures and lead with a Spider-Man and Wolverine, my buzz starts dying fast.
New Iron Fist is great, but I have no use for Luke. Really wish they’d put that version in the BAF wave and gone for a full on classic Heroes for Hire box set. That would have rocked. As is, Luke will be a Hero for Sale.
I’ll definitely get Ghost Rider - the ML3 one is the oldest Toybiz figure still pulling duty in my collection, so time to finally retire him. My hint for a decent Blaze bike continues though - maybe both my riders can go on 90s bikes.
Skaar is a definite improvement, but I didn’t care much about the character last time out. Will get if he goes on sale.
The big boulder intrigues me - base for a figure to perch on, or character-specific accessory?
I didn't intend on wanting everything that was going to be shown. But they got me. That Superior Spider-man is incredible.
I'm assuming Odin and Hulkbuster will be shown off at a later date. Along with whatever else they have planned for this line.

Super excited for Danny Ketch. The only thing out of everything that stood out to me is with Luke Cage. A guy with steel hard skin doesn't need brass knuckles. Just plain fists would be so much better.
We haven't heard a peep about the traditional X-Men BAF wave. But maybe the rock clue is Rockslide who would be a perfect BAF for an X-wave.

This stream was fantastic. The Iron Fist is a huge Top 10 want for me so that I can create the post Civil War New Avengers team with updated figures. Ditto Luke Cage, who I am elated to finally replace the Defenders version with.
Wolverine looks better than I hoped, I'll need a few. Ketch with a bike is another home run on execution. Skaar also looks really great.
Everything else was solid, but I'm really excited to get Cage, Iron Fist and Wolverine.

I don't disagree. It was a feature from the Cage comics that was published as an adult title under the "MAX" imprint
But it never did make much sense.
Hulkbuster will see another longstanding Marvel Select be replaced on the shelf.
The reveals all look great. Shocked they're re-doing Warbird. I've gotten a lot of good years out of the original version displayed on the Avengers shelf but definitely worth upgrading. I swear at some point I could bet Wolverined out but I really like the updated body and the unmasked head sculpt for Astonishing. Nice upgrade for Superior, too.
Love to see Danny and Luke getting a two-pack but I think--am I wrong?--that Luke is so similar to the one we already have that I already have him on the shelf? I've never really loved Danny's original costume (sacrilege, I know) so I'm on the fence about that set. And been wanting Danny GR but I'm still struggling to find room for the other GR bikes. I'll probably pick him up and feel terrible the bike isn't on display.
I need a bigger house.
Skaar's one of those characters I know nothing about, really, but the figure looks fantastic. Reckon that might be a case where I start reading up on the character before buying and decide I want him. Happens a few times a year, one of the reasons I love how Legends will throw unexpected characters at us. (Last time was Mania? I think?)
