On a slightly different topic:

Hasbro needs to do the following Fan Channel 2-packs with the FF in matching era costumes.

If they can do a Franklin/Valeria 2-pack, they can do these...

Mr. Fantastic vs Wizard

Invisible Woman vs Diablo

Human Torch vs Trapster

Thing vs Puppet Master

I would literally show up to a convention to fist fight the Legends team if they put those F4 villains in hostage packs with the F4 team.

Wizard is in my top 10. Puppet Master is knocking on the door.

I feel like this is a great suggestion to be honest. We might not love it, but it's not *solely* corporate greed that makes them release things like this. I'd put Psycho-Man and High Evolutionary in the same category as the four villains Beamish listed, and look how aggressively clearanced their single packed figures ended up being. As much as I want Wizard, Diablo, Puppet Master, and Paste Pot Pete, I can't imagine they'll be hot sellers. If pairing them with variations of the FF makes them more viable to be released, I'm all for it. Make it a new version of the team (Future Foundation?) and it's an easy buy for me.

To be fair, everyone from that wave, maybe outside of Ben, got clearanced. Shame too considering how nice the likes of Johnny and Psycho Man were.

If they were Byrne style black and white costumes, I’d suck it up and rebuy the team. But I really don’t need them again and definitely not in any modern costumes.

It's a fair point - either they overproduced it or the FF just aren't that popular for toy buyers, or both some combination of both.

I could see a set of 2-packs like Beamish mentioned where each FF member is tricked out with effects and alternate parts - a Reed with a bunch of extra stretched limbs, Johnny with tons of flame on/off effects, Sue with force fields, etc. Would probably help ease the pain of rebuying if they are doing looks they've already done.

Also though - I *really* want Future Foundation looks, because that run was great. But not just the main four, like the whole group. They could do a bunch of the kids with swappable heads, we already need a new Dragon Man, Spider-Man is obviously getting made at some point. Hopefully with their MCU debut pending we'll see more FF product come to the line.

No numbers in front of me, but I don't think the FF are big sellers.

Future Foundation rocks. Not just the best FF title, but also one of the best Marvel books period.

I'm still convinced that the fact we got the "inverted" Future Foundation Spider-Man in the 60th Anniversary line means they have/had plans for a proper set of Future Foundation figures. II can see the white Foundation looks being a good option for comic figures while the Fantastic Four make their MCU debut as they're very distinct from the classic blue/black that will be adapted for the screen.

Needs women! Titania or maybe comic Nebula - or both!

yes to them both. Still could use classic Moonstone, Princess Python, Karnilla, & Umar and a redo of Madame Masque if we are looking for Lady villains to fill the ranks.

That played into my decision to make customs of these but haven't got around to Diablo yet. To be honest the likelihood of them being made is the primary motivator for customs now.

Yes, please. All of these.

OK... so now that we have this updated Angel with these great wings,  how soon until Hasbro re-uses them to give us Mimic?    And will we get the classic orange costume, big bare feet version -  or will they cop out and give us the 'hip' blond goatee wearing Exiles version instead?

Fingers crossed for the classic look.

I hope that we get a 90s version of Deathlok, since his look was different, from the 70s/80s version, and the X-Force version. I think that just a few tweaks, and maybe a different head, and feet, then they could easily make him.

I'm personally hoping for classic Original 5 orange costume Mimic. Plus, if they give us that version then we're that much closer to my much-desired blue-and-red costume human Beast.

👀

How much stock should we put in this being real? I perused the reddit thread and there wasn't much more information.

IF true, hot damn I'll be happy to see Astonishing Wolvie get sculpted details and thoracic articulation! The neck joint doesn't look the best, but I'll live. Probably too much to hope he's got a balljoint waist hidden under that glorious thick belt of his?

If I was the leaker who got hold of this figure I'd put a horizontal cut along that belt. Just really melt people's brains.

@panthercult

If it isn't the classic look, I'm not buying.

Dude also seems to have X Factor Wolfsbane already from the look of these hairy orange legs, so I'm putting my money on actual leak and not a custom.

I want any and all classic Fantastic Four characters and villains.  Unfortunately, Hasbro seems to want to put out more modern stuff that I have no interest in.  Looking at you Franklin Richards.

Sadly, thanks to the ban of the FF during the Marvel/Fox dispute the popularity of the team is probably at an all time low.

The movie has to be a hit.  Otherwise, we'll only get MCU figures and very little of anything else.

@panthercult Classic look can obviously open the door to human red/blue costume Steranko/Adams Beast figure.

Right... and it's really a chicken/egg scenario where I don't care what comes first.   I want the human form Beast in graduation costume (Steranko/Adams) as well as early X-Factor costume (issues 4-25 or so) or even, I guess the brown and yellow X-Factor costume from 26-32.

So, I don't much care if Classic Mimic or non-furry Beast gets made first since one will obviate the other.   But I suppose I'd  like Mimic first since Beast would be guaranteed, but if Beast gets made Mimic could still get left on the table.

Sometimes Hasbro doesn't make a figure even when the super obvious re-use is staring them in the face.

What'll most likely happen is that they'll offer the O5 in their original X-Factor outfits (with human Beast) in a box set. Then somewhere down the line we might get a Mimic. But Beast in the Graduation outfit will be the last thing to come out ages down the line. If ever.
