@ashtalon Except, they did just that, with Gorr. They made both the MCU AND the comic book version, in the same year.
I think the most glaring omission in this line so far is the absence of Jim Hammond, the Golden Age Human Torch.
I'll give you my reasons. He's been a member of the Invaders, the All-Winners Squad, the West Coast Avengers and Heroes for Hire. He's been around for over 80 years and was featured on the cover of the very first Marvel Comic Book ever published.
I mean, how can a line call itself "Marvel Legends" and not have the very first character in the Marvel Universe?
Get on the stick with it, Ryan, Dan and Dwight.
What we need is a New "Bad Guys" wave, with an emphasis on monster/creepy villains, and an appropriate BAF, and since it seems most BAF waves are online only now:
1. DRACULA (Colan or Modern!)
2. CARRION
3. VERMIN
4. MAN-WOLF
5. DEATHSTALKER
6. SCARECROW
7. MADCAP
-BAF: STEGRON (OR SWARM!)
@panthercult I don't think it's Hasbro thinking the MCU versions of Attuma, M'Baku, and Skurge are sufficient. I think they didn't want overlap between comic and MCU versions. Maybe that was even mandated from Disney/Marvel. And there's only so much product the line can sustain, so "obvious" stuff sometimes just takes time. I imagine Skurge has got to be in the works. Hopefully the others as well.
I think that's definitely the excuse they used once upon a time - but it definitely doesn't hold water now. As was pointed out they found a way to crank out a comic version of Gor the same year they did an MCU version. And we're getting a comic base Ikaris this year - so, none of those arguments are salient any longer. Now it's simply a matter of 'want to'.
On a slightly different topic:
Hasbro needs to do the following Fan Channel 2-packs with the FF in matching era costumes.
If they can do a Franklin/Valeria 2-pack, they can do these...
Mr. Fantastic vs Wizard
Invisible Woman vs Diablo
Human Torch vs Trapster
Thing vs Puppet Master
I would literally show up to a convention to fist fight the Legends team if they put those F4 villains in hostage packs with the F4 team.
Wizard is in my top 10. Puppet Master is knocking on the door.

Needs women! Titania or maybe comic Nebula - or both!

I feel like this is a great suggestion to be honest. We might not love it, but it's not *solely* corporate greed that makes them release things like this. I'd put Psycho-Man and High Evolutionary in the same category as the four villains Beamish listed, and look how aggressively clearanced their single packed figures ended up being. As much as I want Wizard, Diablo, Puppet Master, and Paste Pot Pete, I can't imagine they'll be hot sellers. If pairing them with variations of the FF makes them more viable to be released, I'm all for it. Make it a new version of the team (Future Foundation?) and it's an easy buy for me.
Yeah, I don't think we're likely to get another Fantastic Four wave until the inevitable MCU wave next year, and per recent trends, that will likely be mostly movie figures with MAYBE one or two comic characters if Hasbro is feeling generous. I don't know where else you'd do the FF rogues that's not box sets.
I've got a short list of FF villains I want, but I sure think it'd be great to get a deluxe Mr. Fantastic with a bunch of stretchy options.
And since it's my wishlist, it has to be the blue and white costume version like what we just got.

To be fair, everyone from that wave, maybe outside of Ben, got clearanced. Shame too considering how nice the likes of Johnny and Psycho Man were.
If they were Byrne style black and white costumes, I’d suck it up and rebuy the team. But I really don’t need them again and definitely not in any modern costumes.
I’d really like if they took another crack at the Byrne suits again, eventually. I don’t feel like there was a lack of desire for that version of the team, but more because they just did a shitty job the last time.

It's a fair point - either they overproduced it or the FF just aren't that popular for toy buyers, or both some combination of both.
I could see a set of 2-packs like Beamish mentioned where each FF member is tricked out with effects and alternate parts - a Reed with a bunch of extra stretched limbs, Johnny with tons of flame on/off effects, Sue with force fields, etc. Would probably help ease the pain of rebuying if they are doing looks they've already done.
Also though - I *really* want Future Foundation looks, because that run was great. But not just the main four, like the whole group. They could do a bunch of the kids with swappable heads, we already need a new Dragon Man, Spider-Man is obviously getting made at some point. Hopefully with their MCU debut pending we'll see more FF product come to the line.

I've never been happy with the blue they choose for those costumes. Byrne's suits were a VERY dark blue, almost black. And they always make them a brighter blue when they make figures of them. They should be a Dark Navy Blue at the very least.

I have to agree. Much more likely to get the FF villains we want via the 2-pack idea, and at this point I'd take it for sure. Especially if they found a way to give us slightly modified versions of the FF - darker Byrne costumes, Future Foundation costumes, whatever. I'm in if it gets me more classic FF villains please.
But I also agree that the FF movie will have to do well and move some merchandise for any idea like this to get off the ground, so we've probably got a while to wait.

No numbers in front of me, but I don't think the FF are big sellers.
Future Foundation rocks. Not just the best FF title, but also one of the best Marvel books period.
