The Walmart exclusives were still available an hour after they went live today. I always like an unmasked version so I caved on Prowler even though I don't need a new one. Debating the Cap variant since I actually like the costume design a lot, but have not attachment to the storyline.

Cap was the only one still available in Canada right now (hoping more show up in stock on those sold out).

I went in for one because I like the costume and shield.  I actually hate the story.

Begrudgingly ordered Cap and Prowler... and tossed in a $10 Starlord because, well, cheap Starlord.

Surprise, surprise, Hasbro will be at WonderCon this year.

"Hasbro hosts an action-packed toy panel with brand marketing team members revealing exciting new products, giving fans a first look across its iconic action brands. The panel will include select product reveals from Ghostbusters entertainment, celebrate the 40th anniversary of Transformers with new Studio Series figures, and announce new Cobra team members joining the G.I. JOE Classified Series line. In addition, the panel will bring updates on the Hasbro lines inspired by Star Wars, including The Black Series and The Vintage Collection, and Marvel, including exciting news about the Marvel Legends product line."

The panel will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday March 30th in room in 300E.  Yes, I will be there.  I will take pictures.  But no interviews, sorry.

This panel is only an hour long SO DON'T GET EXCITED.  That's not enough time to go in-depth on all these brands.  I'm only expecting one or two Marvel Legends reveals.

Will Hasbro have a booth?  No idea yet.  The organizers will probably post the exhibit hall map in the next day or two.  We'll know then.

Will Dwight, Ryan and Dan be there?  I hope so, but again I don't know.

Hasbro has been coming to SDCC for several years, but this is the first time I recall them being at WonderCon.  It's pretty cool.  I hope they make a habit of it.

I live in east San Diego county, and right now, as I type this, it's hailing and thundering.  And snowing.  I'm not kidding.  Snow.  In San Diego.  These truly are the end times.  Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria.   Next thing you know, a 10 story tall Marshmallow Man is going to be strutting down Maine Ave.

I'm very frightened.

That's all for now.  More info (About Marvel Legends, not the end of the world) as I get it.

We're all gonna die.

Dammit.  I really wanted to see the new Deadpool movie first.

@popoman I've got all three of the released Zolas, but this new face plate is the one I wanted from the beginning.  If they had put a FA Wonderman in the two pack, or something original, I probably would commit, but another Zemo?  I have two from the original Mojo wave, one from Walgreens and another from the MCU.  Don't need another of those.   It's getting easier to pass on these releases even with small updates.  Hasbro misses opportunities with the multipacks when they do the money grab.  It's an expensive hobby, they make it harder when the offering is only 1/2 worth it. Same with the waves.

It's funny to want to rebuy the Zola that's the same as the one you already have (twice) except for the face plate,   but are annoyed at the inclusion of Zemo -  who was only done once before by Toy Biz and this version is a significant upgrade all around -  because you have a figure of his son, an entirely different character, and a movie figure (of his son) that has nothing to do with him at all?    I mean... you can have any reason you want for passing but that's the most twisted logic to justify it I've ever seen

I'll never begrudge a "new" Collector the chance to get a Minty Fresh Retired BAF and a new figure. There are whole communities where people can get together and split sets if they don't need a figure. I paid my fair share of secondary prices back in the day.

Should they be newly sculped and designed? Preferably. Could they be single release? Sure. But there are likely more people who don't have either figure than those that have one or both.

The 2 packs that annoy me is when Hasbro releases Troop Builders with Named Characters or as Build-a-figures. THAT is a terrible predatory marketing ploy.

With a special exception for the Hand ninja with the Stilt-Man legs. That was a boss move.

I’d still love to see a troop builder wave that all contain parts for a troop builder BaF. That would be awesome.

The Hand ninja with Stilt-Man legs was seriously great. Similar ideas had been floated around here for years - it was fun to see such a fan-friendly move executed like that!

Love the idea of an army builder BAF wave. Seems like it would be a hot seller. What would the BAF be though? A classic gold Mandroid? Dreadnought?

I like the sound of a BaF Dreadnought. Or, if they don't want to have any new tooling (or minimal at most) for the wave at all, just go with the Mindless One again, and use it as a chance to get the troop builders they won't rerelease back into circulation.

SHIELD Agent (50/50 split male and female molds)

Hydra Goon (50/50 split male and female molds)

AIM Tech

Hellfire Club Guard

Skrull soldier

Kree Soldier

Hand Ninjas

BaF: Mindless One or Dreadnought

Good idea. I'd want Multiple Man and the Brood, as well. Maybe, a BAF Frost Giant or Sentinel.
