Which Yelena are you having trouble with?
The Yelena from the Puff Adder BAF wave. It's extremely challenging to get her to stand up without her knees buckling.
If you're referring to the new MCU Yelena, I can't speak to the quality of the plastic on MCU figures. I think the only MCU figures, I've bought in the last year or two were the Peter/Ned two-pack when it was discounted (and those are both terrific figures, but they're older).
Being realistic that NYCC will probably have a level of reveals compatible to SDCC or pulsecon, what are two main things we are wanting to see or get updates on? Like top 2 items or answers you want.
For me, I need to know what's happening with the VHS subline, and I would really like to see the next x men wave/theme for the year
Is Generation X being continued soon?
Asking if the VHS line is continuing is a great idea! Also the Retro orange X-Men cards.
MCU - how is Hasbro planning 2024 to keep MCU fans engaged with new releases so up in the air? We still want to buy stuff, too!
Follow-up: Can we expect more movie missing figure gaps to be released, like the D+ waves? How long after a character or costume's release can we still expect to see it made? High Evo, Gamora, Aunt May are my big questions.
What took Multiverse Wanda so long to see release?
How much do you enjoy working with Sony?
I'm thinking we see the next X-Men line.
Skin or Synch, Wolfsbane, and Wolverine I think are shoe ins. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Haslab Madelyne Pryor as part of the X-Men 97 line along with a few new Spider-Man VHS figures. Hopefully Chameleon.

This makes me wonder, will Hasbro do another 1027 Event this October, like they did last year? It is their 100 anniversary after all. And wouldn't such an event take priority over NYCC in terms of reveals?
I'm thinking Rom will come out in ML next year. Following the wildcard toy tie-in property of Crystar, whose reveal seems to have garnered quite the positive vibes, he seems like a potential follow-up figure. And there are a series of Marvel comics coming out with variant covers featuring Rom teaming up with the comics lead character. I think the time of a Rom Legends figure is coming soon.
Will we get the next X-Men Legends wave revealed so soon after the X-Men 97 wave, which was just officially revealed not too long ago?
ROM in a wave with a BAF Dire Wraith would be fun!
Make it a cosmic wave with:
Jack of Hearts
Phyla-Vell
Deathbird
Air-Walker
Starhawk
Classic Adam Warlock

I'm super curious about whether they will work this out. There's just weird logistics to work out with Hasbro needing Marvel's Permission to include Rom in their Marvel licensed line - even though Hasbro owns the character outright. But if they've reached an agreement to have Marvel produce ROM comics as part of the Marvel Universe again - maybe details allowing Rom to be placed in the Legends line were included as part of it? Fingers crossed. It would be a big win to have ROM as part of my Marvel Legends collection.

I nominate this for series of the year for 2024...whether it gets made or not.
I can't wait to see what gets reveals, at nycc. 😀
Is there a Hasbro panel? I can't find one listed.
I've been dragging my feet on some purchases this year as money has been tight, and most things stay available for a long time and/or go on sale. But a few things seem to have sold through - Blob is sold out most places (still available at BBTS, and a few others I'm sure). The Wal-Mart exclusive Joe Fixit is also sold out, as is Bucky, though I thought someone said the team was surprised he didn't move? Maybe the two exclusives are less surprising given their limited availability, but it's still noteworthy.
My point is, sucks for me for waiting, but I'm actually glad to see a few things selling through - and it also shows that people are willing to pony up for full price, even on deluxe figures, when the product is solid. I love the line and want to see about 3,000 more figures made, so I'm happy for any indication of positive trends.
I wouldn't write off the latest Walmart exclusives just yet as they are following a pretty familiar pattern for "popular" figures: pre-order, in-stock, then out of stock, then in stock for a short bit, then out of stock for a long time and then they'll be back again in one-three months - the wild card is for how long at that point.
