Yeah, it's been hit or miss with me. Liking the sculpt and colorways, but I've gotten a lot of gummy joints and loose hips. ML accessories seem okay for the most part, but Gi Joe accessories have been insanely warped lately. Not sure what's going on.
Hawkeye might be the perfect figure to try and drill down on what everyone is identifying here. My 60th Hawkeye has incredibly tight joints but the discs in his knees and elbows feel gummy, and those two things really work against each other. Feels like I'm bending the dics out of shape trying to work the tight joints, but once I got them loosened up it feels pretty solid.
My Hawkeye's legs are slightly gummier than other recent Legends, but not as bad as people here have seen or that I've seen people posting on Reddit about. I've seen at least 3-4 Reddit posts where people show his leg coming apart either above the boot cuff or at the top of the leg at the thigh twist. Mine doesn't separate at either joint for whatever reason.
And the biggest improvement with all of them and Hawkeye included is that if you hold a figure with your index finger on the chest, thumb on the back, and shake it up and down almost NONE of my figures bought this year have joints that wobble up and down. Virtually every Legends I was buying in 2021, 2020, 2019, and earlier had arms, legs, and torsos that would flop up and down when you shake them like that.
I'm also reminded of this because I bought a bunch of Jakks Pacific Sonic the Hedgehog figures for my son recently. ALL of those have somewhat floppy joints that I bought him, and I was immediately reminded of how far Legends has come.
Hm. The second part implies that the first is Marvel Legends. The last time we had "super" in a tease, it was Squadron Supreme. Retro versions? More of the team?
Huh, I wonder what the deal is with a split reveal? Definitely seems to imply it's Marvel-related - friendly could be Spider-Man related. As much as I'd love more of the Squadron (classic versions!) I'd be very surprised if there are any more coming in the near future. First thought was something to juice Giant-Man in his final days, but this is after the end of the campaign.
I'm hoping one of these reveals is classic 70's Carol Danvers with swappable Karla Dark Ms. Marvel head. The timing would be just about right, with The Marvels being released theatrically soon after.
And of course since it's right before Halloween, it would be fun if the reveal was a monster - Werewolf By Night, Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, Simon Garth, etc.
@andru honestly because they waited so long I feel like we need a full redo of x factor, Havok looks goofy with his pea head, multiple man is passable but the newer bodies are nicer and that new coat from gambit would be a good change. Strong guy is fine, but I'd like yellows more in line with the 275 3 packs. New forge makes old forge look like a Mctoy, and quicksilver could use an update and slightly smaller head
Id buy a redo of Havok and Polaris two pack with face printing and pinless bodies. Plus they can fix Havoks hands since they were too small for the arms.

Oooh good call, that makes a lot of sense! Can't wait to see what comic figures they have - a classic Carol/Karla swap like you describe is an absolute must.
Super … friendly. Super friends. JLA. Squadron
Seems a bit of a stretch.
I am going to set myself up for massive and unrealistic disappointment but hope that the two-part announcement is: one day is the Marvel owned Micronauts in the Legends line, the other day is the Hasbro owned Micronauts separate but in Legends scale...and they need to split it for marketing/legal reasons.

As others noted, my post from a couple of days ago that you responded to was in regards to the gumminess. I don't have many problems with loose joints - they've definitely gotten better about that. But the cheap quality of the plastic they use, particularly for arms and legs, is a huge problem on the majority of Legends I bought the last year or two.
Hawkeye is indeed one of the worst offenders. I can't stand that figure, it's a piece of garbage. It feels like it's going to break any time I try to articulate at the bicep, the knees, elbows or boot swivel. I can only recall one or two instances where I ever broke a figure just from articulating it, but I get scared with some of these. Thor from the Destroyer two-pack is pretty bad, too. I have the 80th Anniversary and Ragnarok versions. The difference between how the plastic feels when I try to pose them is obvious.
Some other particularly notable offenders: virtually all of the female figures, from a reused old buck like Yelena Black Widow to the best female Legends figure ever, Target exclusive Natasha Black Widow.
Yes, Natasha is a terrific figure, but what good is her excellent articulation if the plastic shes made from is so gummy that she warps as easily as mine has? The pinless, double jointed arms and legs are supposed to make female figures less susceptible to the kind of warping that older female Legends suffered from, but it's largely negated by the gummy plastic. And an older mold figure like Yelena, with this poor quality plastic, is abysmal. I've had her for about a week, displayed in a very basic standing-up-straight position. Her knees are completely warped.
Which Yelena are you having trouble with?
Hey gang,
Is there still no word on a new Iron Fist figure?

No word as of yet. I'm sure one is in the works.
