Yes, new Sabertooth looks pretty fantastic.  It even works with his fuzzy collar (which has paint!) because it fits over those holes that Hasbro refuses to plug up.  I was toying with the idea of selling Apocalypse wave Sabertooth even before this reveal, it just wasn't doing it for me.

Specifically, the lower torso and legs.

 

Also, I am really pulling for Rachel as the tease:

Really hoping that's a base for a great Phoenix Effect to plug into.

If Rachel comes with an awesome raptor effect base, and she, Wolfsbane, Feral, and Marrina all come with proper dedicated sculpts I will be more than happy to have waited the years it took to get them. Knocking two of those characters out this year would be amazing.

I, for one, am relieved that it ISN'T Outback Betsy in that pack! She needs to be single carded...I don't need that version of Wolvie, and I'd be rather annoyed if that was the only way to get the Psylocke most of us have been requesting forever! 

I'm probably putting red/white Angel and Lilandra in my Dark Phoenix saga shelf. Apart from some Imperial Guard members, we have just about everyone from Uncanny X-Men 137.

At first glimpse I thought Red Widow was a Crimson Cowl figure.   Of course with RW coming, how hard would it be to modify one to a CC?  May have to consider a second one.

oh, and count me in for a Winter Guard set, or individual releases.  Gimme!  Gummie!

When we originally saw her, Crimson Cowl was my first thought as to what the figure was as well. And as for converting her, it looks like it'd just be a simple matter of cutting the Widow symbol off her lower torso and you could just call this figure The Cowl easily.

I really hope that when that Betsy comes they'll give us an alternate head without the hood and mask.

As for Rachel, I also thought the tease was the base for a Phoenix effect. I hope she'll be a deluxe figure with the Raptor, alternate heads and flame powers.

I might have been able to talk myself into that Sabretooth for my animated shelf, but I'm not paying for Cowboy Wolverine so that's a pass. I'll reconsider if he ever gets a single pack release. I also agree with whoever said his head looks too big. No interest in anything else shown, but those Angel wings do look very nice.

I'm in the same boat. I didn't like the concept of the Wolverine two-packs anyway, but after seeing them,  I'm definitely going to end up skipping these. I would have been in for a single carded Lilandra and Sabretooth. Ah well. Angel is a no-brainer however.

I'm feeling disgruntled having to buy Brood Wolverine and mildly perturbed at the thought of added another cowboy hat wearing Logan (although this one looks nicer)  🙂 

That was a great livestream! Love the Hasbro ML team. My thoughts:

Red Widow looks very cool. She’s an interesting new character. Great evil addition to the Winter Guard. When reciting other members of the Winter Guard, Dwight specifically noted that Hasbro had “made one version” of Crimson Dynamo, and I took that to mean they know there are some other very much desired versions of Dynamo!

X-Men 97 figures all look cool. X-Cutioner is the standout to me. I loved his old 5” figure. He’s got a very cool armored design and a ton of weapons. I like that Sentinel arm (makes him look like Mega Man).

Wolverine 2-packs look cool. Lady Mandarin looks fantastic. You can tell that a lot of attention was paid to get the details right. Sabretooth is my favorite from these sets. 

Hydra Cap looks great! Surprised it took this long to get him, but I definitely want him. 

Falcon Cap is an excellent upgrade. I bought a third-party set of wings already a long time ago. But I still might get this one. 

Angel definitely looks well done.

I'm not thrilled about having to get a Broodverine either, but I'll either try to flip him or just toss him in the Big Box O' No Return™ and forget about him.
