I love that they let Slott share Spider-Boy. He's super enthusiastic and seems like a really decent guy.

George Conway was similarly ecstatic about Hammerhead getting a Legends figure a few years ago. It’s sweet to see.

Fucking Spider-Boy can rot on Ollie's pegs for the rest of his miserable existence.

New\Old Ultimate Spider-Man doesn't have a figure, Daredevil's figure is stuck in a stupid three-pack. Vermin, Carrion, new classic Green Goblin, Stegron, comic Spot are all forgotten, but this goober has a figure, hilarious.

No offense, but Vermin, Carrion, Cardiac, Spot and Stegron all sound like characters also likely to rot on shelves or at discount stores. Same goes for a lot of fan requested characters like the classic Guardians, more Serpent Squad members or Thor supporting characters. If that were a determining factor for the line, like 85 percent of Legends wouldn’t exist.

Thats why I’ve always found the obsession some fans have with pegwarming to be a little weird. Like unless you’re someone who only collects Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Iron Man variants, you kinda just have to accept that Hasbro is also gonna make niche characters without broad appeal.

Only if they looks like garbage or Hasbro never put care into them. And even if they do - at least we got them.

This should be a Fan Channel set anyway.

Thing is...from the recent Spider-Man retro wave I never seen Jack O'Lantern, Tombstone or Scarlet Spider on pegs. Maybe one or two times. They gone. Sure, there will be places where you can find them, but now, all I see is Hallows' Eve, Spider-Shot or that ugly Miles Morales figure.

Hey...at least 10 people will be happy for that Spider-Boy. Maybe Hasbro can release a Paul figure next 😀

Spidey retro cards seem to move really well around here with a few exceptions - mostly Target over-ordering the wave that had the 3rd iteration of Jessica Drew we've gotten, hoodie Miles, and to a lesser extent The Rose.

I mean I’d say again that’s just something they could potentially apply to nearly any Legends figure that’s not a huge character. Spider-Boy’s not an any more obscure pick than a significant chunk of the line, so this doesn’t strike me as particularly baffling.

I don't know who Spider-Boy is, but I thought Miles was already Robin to Peter's Batman.  So I don't know why we need another young sidekick.

I think of Miles as Nightwing rather than Robin.

I refuse to believe that Stegron would rot on the pegs, though. A big-ass anthropomorphic dinosaur is moving units.

I like Stegron and want him made. My point was that I think fans can be a bit myopic about this pegwarming obsession. While it was before my time on here, I still see people mention the “Nobody asked for this! They could’ve made (insert classic character) instead!” when X-23 got announced by ToyBiz way back when.

@hbhfback I agree. We all want things other may not, maybe even the majority of people. Oh well. Doesn't stop us from wanting it, no matter how much others may point out not everyone feels the same way. Worrying about what others will or won't buy is a part of collecting I always forget to fulfill.

I also see Heroes Return Iron Man and Joe Fixit at my local Ollie's, so even major names end up warming pegs too
