I have some of the smaller prop replicas, such as the Eye of Agamotto and the Tesseract, which feel more like "artifacts", but I am tempted by the shield - that is pretty iconic.

I've wanted a shield since before they started making the prop ones, but still haven't gotten around to getting one.  Some day.

30 years ago today, the first episode of Spider-Man the Animated Series was released.

Would be really cool to see something like Animated Chameleon, new Black Cat figure or something else from the show, Hasbro. I know you don't realy care, though, so moving on...

I have a fair number of the ML prop replicas. First Cap's shield, first Iron Man helmet (mk 3? mk 7?), Mjolnir, Eye of Agamotto, Tesseract, I even have the orb holding the Power Stone that came with a Blu Ray set? I've got helmets for Star Lord, Black Panther, and Antman too. I have passed on any doubles, like I don't have the cracked Mjolnir or Wilson Cap's shield.

If I had a place in my room where I could mount the Cap shield on the wall I would 100% buy one... but to put up a Cap shield would mean to take down a piece of framed original comic book art which I'm not willing to do, or lose display space for figures which I'm likewise not willing to compromise one.   I suppose I could mount it on the ceiling, but at that point it seems a little silly,  so I haven't done it.

If I had a much larger display room - like if I had a full basement to use or something -  I would probably have most of the prop replicas and artifacts;  certainly the infinity gauntlet,  the helmets,  Mjolnir... all that stuff.

A Cyclops visor would make a cool desk display item.

I have the first Iron Man helmet in my living room and the first Cap shield. Both are amazing.

whatever it is, it’s Spider-Man related (probably including that teased Spider-Boy figure since Slott created him.)

I can't help but wonder if they'll announce another "made to order" item after the X-Men '97 Sentinel pre-order window closes today.

However the fact that he has the "fingers crossed" emoji makes me think that it might be something that somebody other than their team would reveal, like a store exclusive or a Gamerverse figure or something.

Update: Just saw hbhfback's most recent post sharing that it will be something shared by Dan Slott. We must have been typing at the same time. I agree that it's probably Spider-Boy. Who knows, maybe they'll let him reveal that whole wave, but I doubt it. It would be awesome if those hit before Christmas, but seems unlikely at this point. Not impossible, but unlikely.

Another made to order would be wild - that would make three back to back without a break. I'm honestly up for it because it's been some of the most exciting stuff they've announced this year, but I'm guessing they'd want to do a livestream or similar to show off another high-dollar item.

Slott's involvement does suggest Spider-Boy. If it is I hope we get a new superarticulated teen buck - does the Amazing Fantasy/Franklin Richards body work well enough for that purpose, or is it too big?

Looks good to me! I can't wait to get him! Probably a Q1 2025 release, I'm guessing... similar to the wave with Hallow's Eve and others last year.

Definite purchase for me.  I love that they gave him and showed off thwipp hands when one of his defining traits is that Spider-Man won't trust him with webshooters.

Damn. 30 years (plus one week).  I was in college…

Watched Spidey, the X-Men, and BTAS in my college apartment, often with my roommates. Good times.
