And with the Stegron speculation... I mean, how does one not love a dinosaur man?

It's impossible.  That's why I adore the Dinosaur Battlefield figures...there's no way Hasbro will ever create one to rival those.  Probably the most insane array of accessories I've ever seen with a figure, and all three toes on the T-Rex are individually articulated!  😍

Because this line exists I'm ambivalent about a Stegron.  I'll take him, but I already know he won't be as good as what we already have available to us for dinosaur men.

Excellent. I'm going to be disappointed if she doesn't come with  classic Carol Danvers Ms. Marvel head, but if not she's a good enough "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" stand-in. I have no love for the whole "Dark Avengers" era.

I'd be tempted if she comes with a 70's era Carol head.

Yeah. I think I'm out if they don't do a classic head.

To be honest, for "the year of Wolverine", I'm disappointed that we didn't get an Albert, with Elsie Dee figure reveal, at all, this year. Hopefully later, but looks doubtful.

Hasbro is making some great stuff, but overall just way way way too safe and plain for my sustained interest. A.L.B.E.R.T. would be awesome.  Where are the rest of the fucking Reavers?  Some slow burn buildup is fun, or used to be years ago, but there comes a point when all interest is lost when teams are left incomplete or take forever to do so.  And I think some curveball things like A.L.B.E.R.T. are missed.  But it takes more effort for that than a simple black repaint or whatever.

Not disagreeing with you because I want all of the things you've identified here and elsewhere, but just some perspective - it's wild to say "Where are the rest of the fucking Reavers?" and we've got excellent figures of Lady Deathstrike, Bonebreaker, Skullbuster, and Pretty Boy. 10 years ago getting the core of that group would have been an absolute pipe dream, and now we're in a spot to agitate for the 3 lesser known members most people can't even name - and even one of those they at least made a head for. It's a pretty great problem to have.

Yeah that's fair, they're a very deep cut.  I hope though we see a new Ares, accurate Bullseye/Hawkeye and Gargan soon.  I would be into a wave of them and just hammer it out fast.  I'd like to see them get in the habit of theme waves some of the time.  It's not like they're going to run out of Marvel figures to make!  Macon should use a different body with lots of tech bits, then that's it.  Hopefully Acolytes get some additional characters soon as well.  It just deflates my excitement seeing new teams start when we've been waiting to complete so many other teams.

For this reason I liked McFarlane's or DCD's approach of themed waves.   It got me a bit more into the comics and stuck with me more.

I could be wrong, but pretty sure all the parts are there for a Acolyte Colossus now. Seems a lock we'll get him soonish at least.

I completely agree with completing teams sooner once they start them. I try not to pretend I know how to run the line better than the people who do it for a living and actually have access to all the information needed to make decisions, but! I firmly believe that they'd sell a lot more of an obscure team member if people could expect to get the whole team in a reasonable amount of time. I think they would have sold a lot more Citizen Vs and Songbirds if Atlas, Meteorite, and Fixer were already announced and on the way.

Cortez looks pretty cool. I agree with others that my top choices from that group are Exodus and Senyaka.

How about make a new shield without holes or that is broken into bits for our Cap figures?

Not to sound snarky, but do these shields sell well?

I'm a little surprised at the variety of prop/replica items they've made. They must be doing ok! I don't have any, but if I were to get one it would be a Cap shield.

I have the Deadpool head wearing the Magneto helmet, also the Ant-Man helmet somewhere. While it wouldn't entice any 6 inch collectors probably to buy these it would be neat if they came with 6 inch scale props as an add in! Never enough Magneto helmets for example.

I bought one of the original Cap shields that Hasbro did when Toys R Us was shutting down and had everything on clearance for like $60. What are they, $150ish now? It's the only "role play" item that I've ever bought other than Daredevil helmet from the Netflix show. I got lucky and found that helmet that at the time retailed for $80 online at a bin store for under $10. I actually bought two at that price, I kept one and sold one. That same store at one point had a Captain Carter shield and a Magento helmet (both from Hasbro) but someone else beat me to those.

I mean it’s the third time or so they’ve put one of these Cap shields out, so someone is presumably buying them.

We’ve seen Hasbro drop sub-lines that weren’t selling well before (Ultimate Riders), so if they keep making these prop replicas I assume it’s because Hasbro is seeing some sort of return on investment.
