I wish they would release 2-packs of each of the original Thunderbolts; each with their Thunderbolts and Masters of Evil versions.
That's a brilliant idea. Where do I sign up?
Let me be more specific. While Odin is great, he has been made in the line before. I want more classic Thor supporting characters that have never been done. Warriors Three, Balder, Skurge, Karnilla, Lorelei, and Heimdall have never had a classic/comic Legends figure. Let's get them done.
I understand and agree with this. Thor’s section of the comic universe hasn’t been ignored, but it has been woefully neglected.

This of course would be the best option. A two pack with the classic Moonstone they've been withholding AND Meteorite <swoon>, Techno and Fixer, I would even rebuy Songbird and Mach 1 if they did this (not sure I'd rebuy both Citzen V and Baron Zemo in a two pack since we have both already...). I don't know if they'd really try to do a two pack of two 12 to 14 inch characters - I mean I'd buy it, but I'm not sure they'd do it - but Goliath and Atlas would both still need to get done. Maybe they'd pair Jolt up with Hawkeye to round things out?
Oh I wish, I wish.
Thunderbolts I am guessing has a BAF wave. FF as well. Both movies should have enough characters to warrant them. Thunderbolts probably has many figs that can mostly be reuse of older figures, also. Like US Agent can be the same as the D+ figure with the correct paint. Things like that. Thunderbolts I can easily see a Void BAF if Void is in the movie.
For FF, Galactus is prob too big for a BAF. The Thing could be one, but I can also see him being the double packed figure with no BAF. Dark horse option for a BAF for FF could be the Fantasticar. But either way, I think that ends up a BAF wave
Man I wish there was some commitment to finishing that old original Thunderbolts team. Meteorite, Atlas, Techno and Jolt at a minimum are so necessary for me. I loved that book so much.
I'm hoping one of the large-scale figures pre-ordering in 2025 is Atlas.
That would get us one more Thunderbolts member and establish a "giant" body they can use over and over.
@hbhfback I do feel like we've gotten decent Thor stuff the last couple of year. We got that fantastic destroyer last year and a super deluxe 90% new tooling Odin this year that towers over everything. Also alot of movie thor stuff can work in a comic shelf as well. We got Herald Thor, Gorr, Black Winter, Ragnorak, and Ulik. Select also did that incredible Beta Ray Bill as well.
Add that to The Enchantress, and Lady Sif. Not to mention the Wrecking Crew. Thor isn’t being ignored. They may not be turning out product as fast as you’d like, but it is coming. Marvel has a really big universe to cover. There’s lots of areas that feel neglected, but few have been totally ignored (but there are a few). We’re getting Thor related product, slowly but surely.
I really want Executioner. And we better not get another Ares before him.
Another interview with Dwight. At one point he gets asked about No Way Home Lizard and Electro figures, and Dwight answers with a non-committal response voiced behind a big smile and tone of voice indicating that yes, those ARE coming that I'm sure made Ryan Ting cringe as he listened to it.
I like Dwight so I always feel a little bad when he gives up more info on unannounced figures than he should, but kudos to the interviewer Jacobs Toys for starting the interview by stating that he doesn't try to dig for information but then digging expertly anyway. If you ask Dwight enough questions about unreleased product be often seems to inadvertently leak something.
That was a really nice interview. I enjoyed that. Dwight's enthusiasm is contagious.

Isn’t there some problem with the rights to the Jolt character?

Dwight seems like a really sweet dude with a terrible poker face, because yeah, that was about as blatant you could get without outright saying "Of course we're making them."

I don't think so. There's definitely rights issues with the Charcoal character. He was the result of a fan contest and so Marvel didn't get the same contractual language in place with him that the get with freelancers and staff writers. But Jolt was created by Busiek and Bagley and is wholly owned by Marvel so there's no issue there.
Enjoyed that chat - props to the interviewer! I like that he asked him about third parties making unlicensed products that didn't pan out - the Hellcharger, basically. Maybe Dwight was being diplomatic or I'm just projecting, but he didn't seem mad about it. I think he's very sincere when he says that pouring a lot of effort into a product that doesn't pan out is disappointing.
I do wish we would get more product from the Sony Venomverse stuff. While the movies are bad, they do have some surprisingly good designs in them
I have been hoping someone like Figuarts would supplement. But alas, only got Carnage that way.
