FINALLY! Tombstone in a suited body. 😀 I'd also pick up  Hallow's Eve, and Spider-Shot/Assassin Spider-Man.

They all look great. I’m happy to add a member of the Skeleton Crew. Maybe we can get Blackwing and a BAF Doughboy.

I don’t know that I need this Scarlet Spider though. I haven’t really liked the articulated toes on MLs as they are usually always really loose.

I'll get "Spider-Shot" (I thought his name was Assassin Spider-Man?) for sure but getting Hallow's Eve before the person who empowered her to begin with (Madelyne Pryor) is criminal!

Assassin Spider-Man was my most-wanted Spiderverse version so that's pretty cool.

Is it too much to ask to get the Spider-Man variants down to 2 instead of 3 per wave?

+1

I now have an entire shelf of Spider-Man and family variants. I actually ran out of room so all subsequent ones go right into storage. I’d rather see more villains and supporting characters, even modern ones I don’t recognize.

I mean the cynic in me says SpiderVerse’s main function if for action figure variants that seem more legitimate than HydroBlast Spider-Man

Definite want Jack O' Lantern and Scarlet Spider.

Highly likely are Tombstone and Hallow's Eve (she is a new/modern character I actually like and I like her power set).

Never a big fan of Spider Shot (oh look What If? Spiderman was a killer.)  Ugh, never liked that issue.

Don't know that Last Stand Spiderman look.  It isn't bad, but not a big want.

Do we know when these next three are up for preorder?

EDIT: Nevermind, checked Dan's twitter and they'll be up on Monday.

Still just Jack for me then, I guess. Maybe Tombstone and Hallows on heavy discount. Disappointing reveals for me, but I suppose it’s my fault for reading all the wishlists and getting my hopes up.

Same on both counts. So far both the Marvel and Joe reveals have been very underwhelming for me personally.

3) Regarding the discussion about retro vs BAF waves, I think the convo arrived at the wrong conclusion, and I’d hate to see Hasbro’s customer engineering efforts make fans think they actually want to get LESS for the same price.

If there is a reason retro card figures sell better than BAF wave figures it’s because those character selections for retro and non-BAF waves are what fans want more. Hasbro is intentionally putting the characters with more appeal in packages without BAF parts, and we are buying them because we really want those figures. Also, characters that Hasbro thinks are less likely to sell individually are in BAF waves because they hope fans who dont want that figure might buy it to complete the BAF.

...

Bottom Line: dont let Hasbro Jedi mind trick us into thinking retro waves without BAF pieces are somehow more desirable. They are the same product with less accessories for the same price.

THIS ^^. This is now the fourth Spidey wave in a row without a BAF. Not cool.

Is cool? Hallow's Eve. Wanted her since I saw her first image. Now I know more about her. 🙂

Spider-Shot is a great new name for "Assassin" Spider-Man which would never fly. Kinda surprised they're wasting that name here.

Last Stand Spidey - those are the Hawkeye/Talos legs, right? I like the look of this one, but don't need it.

Tombstone and Jack look great.

I don’t own a Scarlet Spider yet, so this one is a definite for me.

Questions about the Retro Classic Spidey from 2020: I see a lot of those on eBay.  From China, mostly. But now there are a bunch for around $30.00 or so in the States. Are the ones from China knockoffs or something?  And are the ones now going for 30-ish being sold by people who bought the Chinese versions and are reselling them?

Does anyone have any thoughts on these?  I don’t want to get an inferior product, nor necessarily a bootleg.  But I’ve waited a while for Hasbro to offer this guy again.

I missed out on classic Spidey, ’cuz I started buying Spidey figs in 2021.  I have Amazing Fantasy, and Renew Your Vows, but I’d still like a late ‘70s to mid ‘80s Spidey, which is what the classic Retro reminds me of.

Great wave! So far the only ones I'm DEFINITELY gonna pick up are Jack and Last Stand Spider-Man, but this still feels like a huge improvement over the last two or three waves.

Hallow's Eve is a figure I'm really split on. On one hand, do I really want a figure from the current Amazing Spider-Man run? Eugh. On the other, it's an admittedly cool design and I just loved Halloween themed villains. I might be able to ignore my disdain of the recent Spidey comics for her.

Tombstone looks great, but I honestly still really like the last one (Hyperion body be damned) so I don't know if I really feel the need to upgrade.

Assassin Spidey is cool, but I'd rather get a figure of the Alex Ross costume that inspired his design. Since that's unlikely, I'll probably end up with him. Probably.

There is a very good chance I end up grabbing this whole wave, which is gonna be the first time I've done that in years.

One last thing I want to say is that I'm really impressed by the amount of accessories each figure has. Only Last Stand Spidey feels kinda lacking, but he at least comes with an extra pair of hands. Total polar opposite of the last comic wave, which was sorely hurt by how little each figure came with.

I jumped off Spider-Man during the Nick Spencer run. I didn't even realize Zeb Wells/Dan Slott were writing him now, and that's coming from someone who still reads comics.

They really need to hand the title to Chip Zdarsky. He's done the best Spider-Man stories I've ever read, and he's only been allowed to use Spidey as a side character, in non-canonical stuff (his Spider-Man Life Story is wonderful), and in offshoot titles.

100%. Spider-Man's rogues' gallery has some glaring holes/much-needed redos. They must be almost out of Spider-Verse Spider-People at this point.

Wish they could have snuck Spitfire and/or Baron Blood in the UK Con.

Dwight linked Jack O' Lantern for Halloween, and Ryan does the same for Hallow's Eve...

Yeah, um, can we get actual Halloween characters? Starting with Dracula, Werewolf By Night, Frankenstein's Monster, Simon Garth, Living Mummy?

Assassin Spidey and Last Stand were my two most-wanted remaining from the Spider-Verse so I'm in love with this wave. Totally unfamiliar with Hallow's Eve but it's a good looking figure - time enough this weekend to read a few comics to see if I want to pick her up too.
