Is there some key difference between Bushwacker and the X-Men villain Random?  One guy who can turn his arms into weapons is more than I ever wanted, but two seems excessive.

Apocalypse being able to turn his body into weapons was always my least favorite of his abilities, so I'm not much of a fan of two other characters where that's all they do.

Opened my Strange/Wong 2-pack and while the Wong figures is well done Bats really is my favorite part of the package.   There's just something about a ghostly basset hound that is awesome and the little flight stand so he can float is a nice addition.    Wong and Bats were welcomed into the display immediately.

I'm honestly not sure what to do with this Dr. Strange.    I already had the "What If" Dr. Strange from the Watcher wave operating in my display as the "evil/possessed" Dr. Strange -  so this one feels superfluous.    I suppose I could just find a normal head for him and have a different display -  I have one in the Defenders and one in the Avengers display.... I do want to display one in a mystics corner with Wong and some others... but was really hoping for a masked Dr. Strange to go there.     I guess this guy can stand in while I wait.

@enigmaticclarity They're similar power wise, though Random I think is generally more durable, he's sort of like a Clayface that just does guns. That said, Random is definitely distinct character wise because it turns out he's actually just a kid using his powers to look like an adult.

I've long wanted a figure of Bushwacker, but I'm surprised at how eager I am to get this set in hand. I ordered the Ramen Punisher Van too - between that and the 2-pack I started reading Punisher War Journal to get hyped. It's definitely a product of its time, but really enjoyable - early Jim Lee art and some pretty adventurous plots (Frank is searching for Sauropods in the Congo, for some reason? I'm there). It's fun to read Punisher being a little more comic booky and not as intense as the Ennis Max run - which is one of my favorite runs of all time, but definitely exists outside of "Punisher the comic book antihero" in my mind.

Punisher also wears the all-black look for a lot more of War Journal than I realized, as some folks online were claiming it was a one-off look from a single story or two. Obviously not as iconic as the white boots and gloves look that we'll eventually get, but I'm happy to see it was a mainstay for a while.

I just received Punisher/Bushwacker today. I really like both figures quite a bit, but the paint on my Frank honestly isn't the best, which is only made worse by the fact that it's mostly black to begin with. There's so little white that it sucks they'd mess up the little bit that there is. The Skull logo "teeth" on the belt is kind of weird too and I might just remove that altogether. He'll still be my new default Frank for now. Bushwacker is exceptional. Very happy with him.

I'm a little annoyed because this 2-pack was shipped 2 days later than Kang, Spidey/Vulture and Crystal/Lockjaw. This was sent FedEx and was here in 2 days. The others were shipped together by DHL and haven't moved yet. Why, Hasbro? Why do you use DHL at all?

Sooooooo thrilled Crystal is finally here. She is phenomenal, as is Wong.

Odin is an incredible upgrade.

I bought Phoenix for the base. The heads she came with have to be 2 of the most hideous in awhile. The standard looks nothing like Jean, and the other one is “ok” for Dark Phoenix.

I really really like the Mafex Jean head. It’s soooo accurate to source material. But I have a custom painted OG Jean head that blends in well. Just need some blue tack to the Mafex body (which has my preferred green) and I might have my favorite look.

Lockjaw looks like a normal sized dog next to Odin...

Got the Wong 2-pack, very happy to add him - with him, Clea, Dormy and Mindless Ones, I am pretty content with a small group around Doctor Strange. (Sure, Mordo, Nightmare and Ancient One would help but I don't feel like I must have them them...). Hope we get a Mindless One re-release as I really would like 3.

Can anyone who got Crystal from the Lockjaw 2pk try out both of her heads on the Siryn body from the Bonebreaker wave?  Curious as to how good of a match she'd be for Siryn if the black hair band paint is removed.

Yeah, still up in the air on Phoenix.  The greens are off, the heads are not great.  If you want it perfect you have to go $50 for the ML base and $100 for the Mafex Phoenix.  Not ideal.

Or I can keep the custom painted Juggernaut wave Phoenix that I did and the Toybiz Phoenix base and spend $0.

The non-suckers of the world would call this a no-brainer.

I haven't seen it mentioned, but Strange from the 2pk is pinless. No pins in the legs.

Wong is among my favorites for this year. I don't have room in the display for him yet, so I can keep messing with him. Bats is fun, but seems a bit small for a Bassett hound, even if in spiritual form.

Crystal is nice, but I feel like both of her heads seem a little narrow from front to back. They didn't have to give her a sculpted belt, but it's a nice touch. Lockjaw is definitely fun, but the lack of knees and elbows drops it a notch. Otherwise he'd be in my top 10 also.

I've got Punisher/Bushwacker coming today.

I'm loving the cloak on the new one, so i'm really hoping we get another classic strange using it.

That being said, since this strange has a darker vibe to him, i'm just going to build a Midnight Sons team display, and I'll put this strange there.

my only issue with the strange/wong 2 pack is bats, I think we'd all prefer him floating.. so i wish the mold wasn't flat on the bottom as if he were sitting on the ground. it just looks strange to me to have him up in the air as if he's standing on a hard surface. So glad we got him at least though

Didn't remember Crystal and Phoenix were shipping so soon - my estimates are still a few weeks away but really looking forward to both.

Opened up Strange and Wong today. Wong is easily one of my favorite figures this year - if we have to wait this long for a character, do him right, and they did. I just cant stop posing him. Gotta find a spot for him and Clea side by side on the shelf.

My favorite Strange cloak so far, too. They could probably get me for a non-possessed version of him with this cloak and the pinless joints next year.

Bats is just adorable. I'm a little spoiled given how good the articulated animals have been from Hasbro the past few years (GI Joe and D&D are knocking it out of the park) but for a lil guy this size, he's great as a static pose.

I can't quite decide which Strange to display. The original classic or this one. I wouldn't want a demonic one so I'd touch up the neck with paint and use the old head. This new body has pinless (and more stable legs) and more contrast in the blues of his tunic. The cape is cool too but is inaccurate in the way it leaves off the gold/yellow trim on the collar of the cape. To be honest the belt and gloves on both versions are a little too yellow. They should be a slight orange tinge to them.

Got the Punisher set and I’m not particularly in love. That new body may be new from the pelvis up, but those feel like pinless Grim Reaper legs. Also Bushwacker is gross.
